Today it seems everything requires a battery. From your car key fob, to your watch, phone, favorite toy, electric car, or wireless gaming system, batteries have a strong presence at every home. However, finding the right sized battery to replace the ones that fail is not always easy or inexpensive.
Batteries can run from a few dollars up to hundreds of dollars, depending on what you're
replacing. In a traditional retail shop, replacement batteries can cost more than the item itself. Aside from cost, driving from store to store to find the right sized battery can often be tiring and frustrating.
However, many people have learned that buying batteries online allows them quick and easy access to whatever they need, and at discounted prices. Many online battery stores offer thousands of batteries for phones, toys, cars, and every gadget imaginable.
However, not all battery stores are alike. You should consider the following aspects of battery stores before making your purchase:
• Selection. Does the online battery store offer a large selection of batteries, or are they limited to certain markets? Will they have the battery you're looking for?
• Price. How does the cost of batteries compare between providers? Where are you likely to save more?
• Return policy. In the event the battery that you purchase is broken, the wrong size, or non-functioning, what is the return policy? Can you get your money back?
TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best battery stores available today. We hope you find these reviews helpful in saving you time and money with your next battery purchase!

All-Battery is your one-stop shop for high quality rechargeable batteries, chargers and converters. Whether you need simple AAA battery for your Televisions remote control, a replacement battery for your power drill so you can finish your wife's to do list, or a converter so your kids can watch the whole DVD movie in the car without the DVD player dying, All-Battery has the
battery,charger or converter you need.
They believe in bringing you the best everyday low price by shipping directly to the consumer from the manufacturer. They do not offer specials and sale prices, they claim their everyday low price will beat competitors sale prices. This claim is a little confusing as there is a tab on the website for "Weekly Specials" that lists about 35 items on sale this week. Most of
the batteries on the website list a sale price, so an assumption can be made that the sale price
is their everyday low price that they brag about. Still a little misleading.
All-Battery has taken the effort to make sure the consumer is educated in their purchase. There is a Battery University available on the website to provide useful information in regards to batteries. There is a glossary for battery terms, explanations on how rechargeable batteries help save the environment, frequently asked questions in regards to chargers and converters, and
many more relevant topics.
All-Battery offers a 30-day guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return the product within 30 days to receive your money back. If the product was defective, or an error was made on behalf of All-Battery, they will pay to reship your new product. However, if the product is not defective and the consumer simple chose to return it, there is a 20% restocking
fee. The appearance of the website is basic; nothing too flashy, nothing too confusing. Compared to other websites reviewed, All-Battery's appearance
and navigability is average.

Battery Space provides a broad selection of batteries needed for everyday and specialized devices. Everyday devices include, laptops, cell phones, digital cameras, camcorders, iPods, and PDA's. Specialized devices include dog collars, digital microscopes, keyless door devices, paintball guns and wheelchairs.
Battery Space also prides themselves in developing new technology and products and creating custom battery packs through their R&D department. The information on this website is the most technical of all the websites reviewed. A consumer would need to be very educated to understand some of the terminology presented. There are a few sections including Battery Terminology, and
Battery Knowledge that assists the everyday consumer in understanding some of the technical terms.
There is a chart that explains the warranty for different products offered on the website. Some products do
not have a warranty (all lithium primary cells) and some products have up to a 1-year warranty (chargers). Most products offer a 30-day warranty. If your product is not defective but you need to return it, you have up to 21-days from the invoice date to return the product. After 21-days, only exchanges for the same items can be made. All unused, unopened products returned within 21-days are subject to a 20% restocking fee. If the product is deemed damaged upon return, Battery Space reserves the right to not
send
a replacement and not issue a refund.
The appearance of the Battery Space website is average. The homepage is decently organized with a variety of text and images. Some of the important links are towards the bottom and difficult to find.
Battery Space seems to cater to the more educated consumer who has the very hard to find battery, even the need for a custom made battery. We would recommend the everyday consumer to use another one of the websites reviewed with a higher score, as they are more user friendly
and are not as strict about payment, shipping and returns.

Battery Ship offers a wide variety of batteries for over 12,000 devices. Those devices range from iPods, laptops, remote controls, power tools, 2-way radios, game controllers, cell phones and much more. As a company, Battery Ship feels the responsibility to be held accountable to their customers, their employees, their suppliers, their shareholders and the environment. Battery
Ship strives to provide customers an extensive selection of batteries, fair and honest pricing, excellence in technical support, customer service and battery education. They have dedicated a whole website educating their customers.
Similar to a few other websites reviewed, Battery ship is concerned about protecting the environment and makes information available for recycling old batteries.
Battery Ship offers same day shipping and at different times throughout the years offers free shipping as well! A 30-day
money back satisfaction refund is offered for unused, undamaged products. The product must be in the original packaging, unopened and postmarked within 30-days from the date the product was shipped. There is a 15% cancellation fee assessed to all returned products. Many of the batteries come with a 1-year warranty, for those products that do not automatically come with the warranty, the consumer can purchase a 1-year replacement plan for $9.95 that covers all defects for 1-year under non-severe circumstances.
The website for Battery Ship is the least appealing website of all reviewed. The home page has way too much text, no images and is a little over whelming. Once you navigate to back pages, those are easier to read, but initially the homepage is a turn-off. We doubted most consumers would even continue searching through the website because of the lack of organization in the homepage.
The company
has a solid selection of batteries, and they provide a good guarantee and warranty, but due to the difficulty in the navigating
the website, Battery Ship received the lowest score.
