New DNA testing helps identify bones of woman missing since 1995

Judge OKs additional DNA testing in Piedmont cold case

A judge Thursday allowed DNA evidence to be further tested in the trial of a Piedmont man charged with murder. The test will destroy the DNA, the judge was told, but the defense agreed to not later contest the previous results.
