NAIL FUNGUS

Nail fungus is a persistent fungi that lives in or underneath the nail bed on your hands or feet. Your nails can turn yellow, brittle, and thicken as the fungus successfully attacks the nail and worsens over time. Unfortunately, nail fungus does not go away on its own. It can be especially embarrassing during the warmer months, when wearing sandals or flip flops expose your feet and toes to everyone. For women, nail fungus can make a pedicure a particularly stressful event.

Doctors are quick to prescribe expensive medicines that can damage your liver and cause long term side effects that are even worse than the actual nail fungus itself. Increasingly, many people are reluctant to take these prescription medicines - and are turning to natural remedies for a safer yet effective alternative.

Finding the right nail fungus treatment is important. This persistent problem can take months to resolve and growing a new nail obviously takes a good deal of time as well.

In light of this, it's important to consider several factors before choosing a natural nail fungus treatment:

•  Product Application.  Some nail fungus treatments require you to take several pills a day, while others ask you to apply a cream or liquid to the affected areas. Will the product application fit your needs and your schedule?

•  Cost.  How much does the nail fungus treatment cost? How long should you anticipate using it before you see improvement in your nail fungus?

•  Guarantee.  Does the nail fungus treatment come with a satisfaction guarantee, or a similar return policy if you are not fully satisfied?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best non-prescription nail fungus treatments available today. We hope you find these reviews helpful in eliminating embarrassing nail fungus from your hands and feet!

$49.95/bottle (1 month)

Zeta Clear is a safe and effective topical medication designed to target nail fungus. Not only will Zeta Clear kill nail fungus, but is also is designed to clear the yellow Keratin debris that sometimes forms on nails.

Nail fungus lives in the cracks between your skin and nail bed and underneath your toenails. Zeta Clear is applied morning and night with a small brush and is worked under the nail, targeting the areas affected by nail fungus. The oils in Zeta Clear make the solution easy to work under the nail and around the nail bed. The area around the nail will become smooth and soft as the oils work into the skin. Some results should be seen within 3-4 weeks, although most people find it takes up to 6 months to fully clear the nails of fungus.

Ingredients in Zeta Clear include:

•  Undecylenic Acid: promotes healthy skin.

•  Antimonium Curdum 200C: treats skin under the nails that is painful, also slowing nail growth.

•  Arsenicum Album 200C: treats discoloration in nails that comes from nail fungus

•  Thuja Occidentalis 200C: helps strengthen brittle, soft or crumbling nails.

•  Natural oil which all help moisturize the skin and help the solution get into the nail bed to treat the nail fungus.

•  Additional ingredients and their effects are listed on Zeta Clear's website.

Orders for Zeta Clear arrive within 7 to 10 business days. If you are not happy with results from Zeta Clear, you can return any unused and unopened bottles purchased within 90 days to receive a full refund.

Zeta Clear's website is easy to use and is loaded with information about the product, including complete directions for using Zeta Clear. There are also additional deals such as buy 2 bottles, get 1 free and buy 3 bottles get 3 free. Zeta Clear takes time to completely get rid of nail fungus so these offers may be well worth it.

Zeta Clear is a high quality product and works similar to our top rated product both in treatment and results. In a close contest for our highest ranking, Zeta Clear rated number 2 because of the higher price. Aside from pricing, Zeta Clear is an excellent product and well worth a try.

Nail RX

NAIL RX

3 Stars

Cost:

$37.95

Nail Rx supports nail bed health leading to healthy nail growth. Nail Rx is best for people who suffer from flakiness and discoloration of nails. Nail Rx is a natural formula containing aroma therapy oils such as Tea Tree Oil and Clove oil both supporting skin and nail health. It is a highly concentrated formula requiring only a small amount of the solution. Nail Rx works very quickly with results being seen within 3 weeks. To apply Nail Rx, use a Q-tip to apply directly to nail 2 to 3 times each day. A slight discoloration of the nail may occur because of the lemon grass oil. The discoloration will not fade until your nails grow out.

A couple of testimonials about Nail Rx are listed on the product's website. However they are very brief and obviously edited. Nail Rx does not contain any animal by-products and does not test on animals, which we appreciate. Nail Rx is backed by a 1-year guarantee for its products. Try the product for at least 30 days and if you are not satisfied you can receive a full refund within one year (will not include SH). However, if you read closely they charge a 25% stocking fee on orders over $200 and a 25% administrative fee if you do not have the order number or packing slip.

Nail Rx may be more beneficial for people who have a mild case of nail fungus or just want to see quick results. With so much fine print in the return policy, it may be wise to try one of our higher rated products first.

Heal Nail Fungus

HEAL NAIL FUNGUS

2 Stars

Cost:

$26.95

Heal Nail Fungus is another product in our review that contains essential oils from plants and is 100% natural. There are no pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers in Heal Nail Fungus. The solution is extremely concentrated, only requiring 2 drops with each application. Complete instructions on application are included with the product.

Unlike our other products, Heal Nail Fungus requires 3 applications with a Q tip per day. Other products require 2. It is also an added expense to supply 3 Q-tips per day when other products featured in our review come complete with their own applicator brush. There is no clear answer for how long it will take to see results. They vary from person to person. However, most people reported experiencing some immediate relief, although it takes longer to completely eliminate nail fungus. There is helpful information listed under the product's FAQ section about on how to take care of your nails when wearing socks, shoes or gloves so that the fungus will not return.

The product's website claims to be doctor recommended, but the only doctor listed on the website endorsing the product is a psychiatrist. We'd prefer to see a doctor that specializes in skin and nails endorsing the product instead. There is a 60-day money day guarantee if you return unused and unopened bottles.

Despite offering the lowest price in our review, this product did not impress us. We suggest trying one of our higher rated products instead.
