The Amazing Wedding Planning guide was written by Erica Yoon who, like Stephi Stewart, author of Fire Your Wedding Planner, is not a professional wedding planner. Instead they are both recent brides who have just gone through their own successful wedding planning processes; unfortunately, that seems to be where the positive comparisons end. We were not exceptionally impressed with this guidebook or the information within. It is apparent that Ms. Yoon lacks professionalism in that even her website, from which her book can be ordered, is littered with grammatical and spelling errors. We believe this is unacceptable for a person who is trying to sell a wedding planning guidebook. Furthermore the tips and ideas included in her guide, while being valid, are fairly basic and unoriginal.

It's almost as if the goal is to scare brides into believing that without the information provided in this book, there is no way they could have a successful wedding. While it is true that some wedding vendors may take advantage of an inexperienced bride-to-be, Ms Yoon would do well to improve the quality of her own information instead of using scare tactics.

One positive aspect of Amazing Wedding Planning is that it comes with free software meant to cut down on disorganization and stress. The tools in the software include help with budgeting, keeping track of vendors, seating arrangement planning, name changing, and more.

What we found most questionable was the price.
