Shoes offers a huge selection of women’s shoes at comparable prices and with a high level of customer service. Shoes has a large variety of women’s shoes and they are sub-divided into six different style categories including: new arrivals, athletic, boots, casual dress and sandals. Searching through the site is relatively easy and the company allows you to drill down further into brand, size, width, heel height, price, color, new arrivals only and on sale only. With so many ways to search, finding the right pair of shoes is pretty straight forward. Like the other top rated companies, shipping is free for UPS 5-7 day ground delivery. If you need your shoes sooner than that, they have other reasonably priced UPS shipping options, and the more pairs you order, the cheaper it is to expedite your order. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you have 365 days to return or exchange it. They will give you a full refund, but will not reimburse for shipping charges – unlike some of the higher ranked companies. We liked the flexibility of the numerous payment options and how that would appeal to a large selection of shoppers. Shoes accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Paypal and a bill me later option. Overall, Shoes is an excellent website. We were very impressed with Shoes until we found a few flaws in the search results and that raised a minor concern. This only happened sporadically but we strive to save you time and money and we had to make mention. We think you'll find a great pair of shoes at Shoes but look out for the occasional pair of toddler shoes that might appear in the women’s boot results.

Shoebuy claims to be the "world's largest site for shoes" and by looking at the site, I think they are right. It is a professional site, but a little overwhelming, because there are so many shoe categories to choose from.
There are approximately 169 categories of women's shoes, starting with Adjustable Strap Shoes and ending with Yoga Shoes. This is a great time saver if you know exactly what you are looking for, but can be a bit overwhelming if you are wanting to browse. They do offer other ways to search: brand, size, width and price.
Shoebuy also offers free UPS shipping with a 3-10 day guarantee. Customers must pay a flat fee for expedited shipping. They also offer a money back guarantee or an exchange on any unworn shoes. As well as a 110% guarantee if you find the exact same shoe within 10 days of purchase on another website for less.
The cost of the shoes offered here range roughly from $30 to $150. They accept all major credit cards, paypal and are currently offering an incentive to anyone wanting to use the Bill Me Later feature.
If you are feeling patient, this site may provide you what you are looking for. Chances are, if you search long enough, you will find exactly what you are looking for and then some, risk free.

Massey's has a Coldwater Creek, J.Jill kind of feel to it. First of all it is all women's footwear and accessories and their selection is relatively small. Their entire collection including all footwear styles; athletic, casual, dress, outdoor, boots, sandals and slippers, totals 1,547 pairs of shoes. They also sell accessories like handbags, hats, socks and gloves.
Massey's isn't a trendy site, but probably has it's own clientele that appreciate the simplicity of the products offered.
They accept all major credit cards, but they also have their own credit card, like a department store. The shoe prices are pretty comparable to the other sites, although there didn't seem to be much on sale. Shipping is not free when you order from Massey's. Depending on the merchandise total you add a set amount for shipping and processing. For example, if you order a pair of shoes that costs $55.00, then you add $9.95 to the total. Priority and express charges will be higher. They will accept returns provided the item is unused and is returned promptly upon receipt. Of course they do not pay for return shipping since they don't pay for the original shipping.
Overall, Massey's is not as customer oriented as some of the higher ranking shops. The selection was limited but unique.

Standard shipping costs range from $5.95 to $14.95 depending on the price of the merchandise. Priority shipping goes up from there. |
Auditions is a relatively simple site, in that it is small and easy to maneuver, and they only offer women's shoes. They have about 700 different shoes to choose from, all falling into one of the following classes; Athletic, Casual, Dress, Dress Casual, Outdoor, Slipper, and what's on Sale.
Auditions does charge for shipping, unlike some of their competitors. It's not outrageous, but it might be a deal breaker for some shoppers. The shipping costs they list range from $5.95 to $14.95, depending on the price of the merchandise. They do want their customers to be completely satisfied, so if they aren't they can return anything unworn for a full refund.
One feature that is convenient about Auditions is the set filter. This is the box where you select your size, width, color and class of shoe. This feature is nice because it will hold the preferences plugged in,until you go to change it.
Auditions is somewhat professional, but not necessarily a sleek and polished site. We anticipate you'll find a more suitable and better priced product elsewhere.

Designer Shoes is a well-organized and easy to maneuver website. They offer many hard to find sizes and don’t carry a shoe unless it comes in at least a size 12. Their shoe sizes range from 4 to 16. Their tagline is "for women who leave a larger footprint".
There are many filters you can use to find the shoe you are looking for including color, brand, heel, style, width and more. There are also a few navigation tabs at the top of the page that take you to New Arrivals, Sale, Daily Specials and more.
While their name is Designer Shoes, there were not many designer brands we actually recognized and we questioned whether many of the styles were the most current or not. There is a unique feature they offer with called "Ask the Shoe Lady" that is set-up similar to a blog with posts covering many different topics posted multiple times a week.
We did find that prices were consistently higher that other online stores. However, for those looking for sizes above 11 they may be willing to more. Shipping is free for orders over $75; otherwise it ranges from $6 to $42. If you are dissatisfied with your shoe purchase you have up to 30 days to return any unworn shoes, check the website for more information. We did run into a few technical errors while trying to navigate the website, one being the Customer Service tab gave us an error message a few times. Eventually we were able to open the page, but it took a few attempts.
If you have larger feet that make it hard to find shoes at many stores or online retailers, Designer Shoes would be a good option for you. However, if you're able find your shoe size at another, higher ranked company, we suggest you look there first.

This website is marketing to the younger more athletic crowd, by offering more variety and trendier lines of footwear. Mason offers shoes for both men and women. There are 147 styles of women's shoes to choose from, including a new category that we hadn't seen before - western. This is exactly what you would expect, boots.
Prices on Mason seem to be in line with all the others. Regarding shipping and processing all the same policies that apply to Massey's and Wissota Trader, apply here too. Their shipping rates are exactly the same, none of which are cheap. And like the previous two websites we reviewed, this one too offers a direct credit line. This might be a good option for some, but they also accept all major credit cards.
This site is professional and meets all the needs of some shoppers, but we still found this site a little lackluster. It could be because it pales in comparison in variety, but unless you are looking for shoes that only Mason Shoe carries, we don't know why anyone would pay shipping when other sites offer so much more for so much less.

The tag line for 6pm is "Shoes and Bags that click". This website boasts a large selection of shoes to choose from - but in reality, they had fewer choices than most of the other sites.
After starting our search for the right shoe we instantly noticed that the search results were bad. 6pm has 19 different women's shoe categories and several types of shoes within each class, which can make it easy to narrow down what you are looking for. These categories range from boots and bridal shoes to slippers and sneakers, and everything in between. However, if you ask for Men's athletic shoes you might receive a pink toddler shoe in your results. This is only one of examples of a lot of issues we had with this site.
Like much of their competition, 6pm also offers free UPS ground shipping and free returns. The merchandise must be returned within 60 days of purchase and must still have tags on and be in the original box. They will also pay for return shipping.6pm accepts all major credit cards, Paypal and Bill Me Later.
6pm frustrated us and wasted our time, we would definitely recommend a better functioning site that is ranked higher on our list.
