ROCKWOOD AMISH FURNITURE

Rockwood Amish Furniture operates two retail stores, one in Amarillo and the other in Lubbock, Texas. They also sell many, but not all, of their product offerings from their website. The furniture is handmade by Amish woodworkers and craftsmen in Ohio and Indiana.

Frankly, the website version is not very good. The pictures of the individual furniture pieces are too small and the font text is odd. There really is not much information on the site. There is nothing telling you about the company, their shipping and return policies or much of anything else. You must register and create an account before you can do much of anything on the website.

Rockwood Amish Furniture lists many categories of Amish furniture for your dining room, living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathrooms as well as specialized categories for clocks, children and entertainment. However, many of the categories are empty, and don't have any items displayed. One of the strangest omissions is the lack of any pricing information whatsoever. And to top it off, even after setting up an account we see no way you can do anything but place items in a "wish list". There is no shopping cart or any apparent way to purchase any products online.

While their stores may be much nicer, the website experience leaves a lot to be desired. Unless you happen to find yourself near a Rockwood Amish Furniture store in Amarillo or Lubbock, we would suggest not wasting your time here.

AMISH FURNITURE COLLECTION

Amish Furniture Collection is a Michigan based company that sells high quality Amish made furniture. Shoppers will find a more traditional approach to selling furniture at this website. The owners got into this business after spending time, and making friends with, people in the Amish community. They work directly with the craftsman to help design and communicate orders.

The website provides a smattering of bedroom furniture, desks, curio cabinets, dining rooms, entertainment center pictures and more. Amish Furniture Collection says they work hard to provide the best quality, service and price to their customers. Unfortunately, the website only provides pictures of what is potentially available. If you'd like to specifically order a product you see online you must call or email to discuss. Details of specific furniture pricing, shipping costs and return policies are not available on this website, which can make for a rather awkward online shopping experience.

However, since finding affordable quality built Amish furniture can be tough, giving Amish Furniture Collection a call may be worth your time if you have a lot of patience and think that buying furniture via a telephone call will produce the product you're looking for. Make sure that you understand their return policy and try to get that information in writing before you place your order.

The Amish Furniture Collection website serves to merely educate and enlighten potential shoppers. To actually purchase one of their products you would need to give them a call or stop by their Michigan store for the important details. For those that want to purchase a high quality furniture today, this is not the store for you.

Amish Furniture

To help you find the Best Amish Furniture, TopConsumerReviews.com provides you with an in-depth comparison of Rockwood Amish Furniture and Amish Furniture Collection.

Amish furniture has recently become very popular. There are many reasons for this. The quality of typical furniture that you find in local stores is not what it used to be. Many people have learned the hard way that big furniture manufacturers focus on speed of production and profit over furniture life span. It's not uncommon for a typical piece of furniture to break or become worn out in five years or less.

That's why the recent trend in Amish built furniture is due in part to the quality and craftsmanship that is synonymous with these pieces. Amish furniture is handmade and designed to last. But finding a good variety of Amish furniture to choose from can be a challenge for many shoppers.

A number of builders are now selling their Amish furniture online as a way to reach more shoppers. But which online company offers the best selection of quality built Amish furniture? Before choosing an Amish furniture company, you need to consider the following factors:

  • Website Functionality. Does the Amish Furniture website make for a pleasant shopping experience?
  • Selection. What kinds of Amish furniture is sold and how expansive is the selection?
  • Return Policy. If you aren't satisfied with your Amish furniture once it arrives, can you return it for a refund?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best Amish furniture stores available today. We hope these reviews help you find your next piece of Amish furniture right away!
