What's the best Anti Aging Cream? It would be nice if we could keep our skin flawless as we get older, but the aging process takes its toll on everyone. When it comes to dealing with fine lines and wrinkles, anti aging creams are often the best and most affordable option.

For many years, Botox injections were the most popular means of trying to keep faces looking young. But these injections come with their own drawbacks - including, but not limited to, pain during treatment and the high costs over time as the effects of the treatment fade. There are also numerous side effects to Botox that range from allergic reactions and flu-like symptoms to longer-term issues like pointed eyebrows and droopy eyes.

Kollagen Intensiv

KOLLAGEN INTENSIV Visit Site

Cost:

$59.95 - 1 month supply

$109.95 - 2 month supply

$154.95 - 3 month supply plus 1 month free

$289.95 - 6 month supply plus 1-month supply and bonus products for free

You may feel like you've stepped into an infomercial when you visit the Kollagen Intensiv site. Although the product has been on the market for a long time, the online store is very heavy on the marketing, with lots of "Order Now!" and "Rush My Order" buttons scattered throughout the site.

But, that doesn't matter if the product is effective at reducing wrinkles and fine lines. Looking at some of the before-and-after photos, the Kollagen Intensiv daily moisturizer seems to deliver. Originally designed in Switzerland, the cream helps your skin's production of collagen using a proprietary peptide called SYN-COLL - which, according to a clinical study, improved the test subjects' overall appearance of wrinkles by 354% when used twice daily for a total of 84 days.

That 84-day mark cuts fairly close to Kollagen Intensiv's 90-day return period. The company allows you to return up to 3 empty boxes (i.e. you've used three jars of product) along with any unopened boxes, if you're unsatisfied with your results. You'll be eligible for a full refund, minus any shipping and handling costs on the delivery and/or the return.

Kollagen Intensiv is priced affordably, starting at $59.95 for a 1-month supply (one jar), with options to purchase up to 7 months of product for $289.95. This latter package comes with attractive extras, such as free shipping and a facial cloth.

We were shocked to find customer reviews that said they received used containers of the product: with very clear finger swipes through the cream that looked like they'd been filled in with extra product. We're not sure if those were shipped directly from Kollagen Intensiv's warehouses or through a third-party reseller, but it's something to watch for.

Overall, Kollagen Intensiv helps many people to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and gives them firmer, younger-looking skin. But, their product line is limited to just one anti-aging cream, so you'll still need to find another place to buy cleanser, toner, or any other products you'd like to have in your skincare regimen.

Revitol

Cost:

$34.99 for 1

$69.98 ($23.33 each) for 3

$104.97 ($20.99 each) for 5

Revitol/Lucent Skin has been on the market for a long time, designed to be a "high-performance anti-aging solution", and with some impressive before-and-after photos to demonstrate its results. If you're looking to minimize your crow's feet, eliminate fine lines, and encourage your skin to produce healthy new skin cells, this product may work for you.

Revitol/Lucent Skin contains three primary active ingredients:

  • Ritapro 165: this moisturizes at a cellular level, improves skin's elasticity, and firms skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles
  • Matrixyl: doubles the amount of protein collagen required to provide skin with more elasticity
  • Shea butter: helps offer UV protection, along with antioxidants and phytosterols

We would have liked to see more detailed information about the anti-aging cream, without having to go to third-party sites that sell it to look it up. From what we learned on those sites, other ingredients of Revitol/Lucent Skin are Evening Primrose Oil, Chamomile extract, and Hydrolyzed Wheat Gluten - which could be critical details for people with allergies or other sensitivities.

The cost of this anti-aging cream has become more affordable over time. One jar used to retail for $59.95, with a 6-month supply at a price of more than $200. At the time of our review, Revitol/Lucent Skin was being offered for 40-60% less than the last time we evaluated the product.

Considering the results people have reported while using Revitol/Lucent Skin, that's a compelling reason to give the cream a try. Although there aren't many customer reviews on the product site itself, we found a good deal of feedback on third-party sites. One user said that she had tried dozens of products, and this anti-aging cream was the only one that delivered results. Others said that they noticed changes within two weeks to a month.

Of course, there's no anti-aging cream that works flawlessly for every person, and Revitol/Lucent Skin has its share of people that didn't get the results they wanted. Unfortunately, the company's 90-day refund policy only applies to unused and unopened items, so you can't get your money back if you've already tried it.

Because Revitol/Lucent Skin has worked for some people, we give the product a 3-star rating - especially since it's become even more affordable in the past few years. But, with a return policy that is easily beaten by competitors who offer refunds even on partially-used creams, and with difficult-to-determine ingredients that could be unsuitable for some users, Revitol/Lucent Skin has some room for improvement.

Continued from above

Given those less-than-reassuring complications, is it any wonder that so many people turn to anti-aging creams to get noticeable results without the expense and side effects? Finding the right cream for your skin is a matter of trial-and-error: each formulation can react differently for every individual.

It's important to be patient while looking for the one that will have your skin looking younger every day. Fortunately, many of these products come with a no-risk return policy, so that you can get a refund if a particular anti-aging cream doesn't reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines the way you'd hoped.

Among the dozens of products currently available, how can you decide which one to use first? As you consider both the creams and the companies that sell them, here are several factors to keep in mind:

  • Cost. You can easily spend more than $200/month for the most expensive anti-aging creams. That might be worth it to you, if it delivers results. But, some people may be more comfortable on the lower end of the price range.
  • Effectiveness. The real bottom line is, does it work? What do customers who have used the cream say about the results? How long did it take, on average, for people to see noticeable changes in their skin?
  • Ingredients. What are the active ingredients in the anti-aging cream? Are there any that might be problematic for you with respect to allergies, or too strong for your skin type?
  • Company Reputation and Policies. Does the retailer/manufacturer have a good track record for customer satisfaction? Are they rated by the BBB? Can you return the product for a refund in a reasonable amount of time, if it doesn't work for you?

TopConsumerReviews.com has reviewed and ranked the best anti-aging creams on the market. We hope this information helps you find the right product to reduce your skin's signs of aging, leaving you looking more confident and youthful!
