Some warranties cover the transmission, drive-line, air-conditioning, or any combination of parts and systems. The buyer should read the entire warranty, including the fine print, to verify the desired coverage is included. A buyer should understand the auto warranty well enough to be able to explain the terms to a spouse or another adult family member.
In addition to understanding what is covered, the buyer needs to be aware of the payment terms of the business. If the business will issue a check to the policyholder after receipt of repairs has been obtained, this may result in a longer period of time before the policyholder obtains reimbursement. Understanding the method of reimbursement is important before purchasing any auto warranty in Indiana.
