ABaby first launched its online presence in 1998. Since then, they have established themselves as one of the few online retailers who can provide custom baby furniture. They boast an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and offer a "safe shop guarantee" on their products.

We were particularly impressed with the wide range of style and material choices. Here are some of the many types of cribs customers can choose from:

  • Classic
  • Iron
  • Modern
  • Designer
  • Convertible
  • Portable
  • Round
  • Spindle
  • Panel

For more information regarding any specific crib, simply click on the item's picture and you will find out the price, shipping surcharge, and other product details. You can also read customer reviews about the item. If you aren't sure what you want, this search feature allows you to consider all aspects of any item before making a purchase.

We are big fans of the "how to" articles. In addition to a helpful search engine, this site also provides tips on "[how] to select a crib," which is an article reviewing latest crib trends. You can also learn more about nursery design tips and current federal safety guidelines.

Regarding customer service, you can contact ABaby via phone, fax, email, or through regular mail. However, we did find unflattering reviews on other sites. Most the customers complained that they waited an unreasonable amount of time before finally receiving their order. We strongly recommend that you verify if an item is in stock and available for immediate shipment before making a purchase.

We found this site to be very user-friendly. Information is readily available, and we had no problem finding answers to any questions. If it weren't for the poor reviews on other sites, we would have given ABaby a higher rating. We hope they will work to improve their customer service and their overall reputation.

Return Policy:

30-day policy for unused items

The Baby Cubby offers "the best of everything baby", from gear to clothes and more. Their goal is to help parents feel special and supported every step of the way, and to provide a shopping experience that is fun, relaxing, and helpful.

Baby Cubby has an extremely small selection of cribs: three brands and five total models to choose from, ranging in price from $260 to $829. If you'd like to save some money, keep an eye out for any pop-ups that appear on the screen: at the time of our review, there was an offer of a 10% discount for signing up for the Baby Cubby email newsletter. And, if one of the five cribs they offer is being sold at a lower price somewhere else, you can request a price match either before or after you place your order on Baby Cubby.

Baby Cubby's return policy is average: unopened, unused items can be returned within 30 days of purchase and require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number obtained by calling the customer service number.

We found several typos on the Baby Cubby site, leading us to wonder about the professionalism of the business. For example, the return policy page references Seven Seas Aquariums - which has nothing to do with baby products. That page, along with a few others, also had missing words and punctuation as if it had been copied and pasted from another website. Also, the phone number listed for Baby Cubby's customer service was tied to a pet store and fishing nets business in Utah, further leaving us with questions as to the reputability of the retailer.

On a more positive note, however, the comments on the Baby Cubby Facebook page are extremely satisfied with both the Baby Cubby website and their retail location (which does happen to be in Utah); shoppers praise their customer service, variety of baby products, and overall shopping experience.

When it comes to baby cribs, most customers are likely to find what they're looking for with one of the better-stocked retailers in our review. In the future, we'd love to see Baby Cubby offer a wider range of cribs in both brand and price, and to fix some of the question marks with respect to their website.
