Most of us look for comforters, duvet covers, quilts, and coverlets that reflect our personal style while enhancing our decor. Finding soft, quality made, attractive bedding is a challenge these days. Most large department stores have a limited selection and lack competitive pricing, while the large box stores miss the mark with style and quality.

Many bedding shoppers have turned to online stores to find exactly the right bedding at the right price. Shopping online for bedding also means you don't have to drive from store to store looking for the best prices and most attractive selection. TopConsumerReviews.com Best-In-Class Blue Ribbon Award Wayfair is the online retailer for all of your home decor and furnishing needs. In business for over 12 years they provide a huge selection of home products from thousands of different manufacturers at competitive prices. Shoppers will find a savvy, user friendly website and an impressive selection of bedding options. Some of the available manufacturers include Waverly, Eddie Bauer, Panama Jack, Kate Spain, Perry Ellis and many other popular brands.

The bedding selection at Wayfair is robust. If you're looking for sheets, blankets, comforter sets, quilts, mattress pads and more this is the website for you. We liked the sample room pictures with links to buy the actual products - a great service for those wanting some guidance with decorating their bedrooms to reflect their own personal style.

The Wayfair website is easy to navigate and efficiently narrow the results to find exactly what you're looking for. After choosing from comforter sets, duvet covers, sheet sets and more shoppers have the option to further narrow by size, color, pattern, price, gender, material, brand, thread count, care instructions and dimensions. The search options are truly impressive and allowed us to quickly locate exactly what we were looking for.

No matter your budget, Wayfair has the bedding for you. We found a number of very affordable Bed in a Bag options with several under $50.00 which is wonderful for college students and children's rooms. Shoppers will also find free shipping on orders over $49 and a 30 day return policy. The A+ Better Business Bureau rating is also a major bonus and reflects the hassle free nature of shopping at this website.

Wayfair offers an impressive and abundant selection of bedding to suit anyone's needs. They also provide the most impressive search functionality to enhance their customer friendly shopping experience. No matter your budget, color preference or bedding needs, Wayfair should be your first stop.

Dezignable opened in 2008 and provides home decor shoppers a more defined and attractive selection than they'll find just about anywhere else. This is the website where only tasteful, yet affordable bedding options exist. For those that like the latest trends, Dezignable is the place to start.

Shoppers will appreciate the vibrant pictures and "Get the Look" functionality that exists at this website. This assists visitors with finding the right furnishings and bedding to help them achieve the right "look" without much trial and error.

The Dezignable bedding collection includes duvet covers, quilts, coverlets, shams, sheets and bed skirts in an abundance of today's latest colors and looks. They specifically offer some duvet covers from artists such as Aimee St Hill, Gabriel Larios, Lisa Argyropoulus, Cori Dantini and more. Many of the duvet covers look like works of art and would make a whimsical and beautiful addition to anyone's bedroom.

The search functionality helps narrow your results by color and price but not much more. This was a small drawback to shopping at Dezignable but we actually liked looking at all of their options because they don't sell out of date or unattractive bedding here. Most of the duvets are priced between $160 and $220 and come in sizes twin, queen and king.

One eature we liked about Dezignable is their Swank program. For an annual membership of $99, you enjoy the following benefits:

  • Free Shipping
  • 15% Discounts on all products
  • A personal stylist to help your home design for a full year

For those that like the latest trends in bedding, Dezignable provides a refined selection of options along with a customer friendly shopping experience. Their Better Business Bureau A rating means a they have a strong history of meeting the needs of their customers. The selection at Dezignable isn't going to meet the needs of every bedding shopper but is definitely worth a look for most.

But not all online bedding stores are designed the same. Some cater to only the bargain shoppers while others are geared for children or teenagers. Before you start your search online you should consider the following:

  • Selection. Does the company have a large selection of the type of bedding you're looking for? Is the website geared for a particular age range and do they offer designer brands?
  • Return Policy. Should your new comforter show up and it's not the right color or texture will you be able to return for your money back?
  • Company History. Does the company have a strong history of pleasing their customers or can you anticipate problems with turn around, customer assistance and refunds?
