You may feel like you've stepped into an infomercial when you visit the Kollagen Intensiv site. Although the product has been on the market for a long time, the online store is very heavy on the marketing, with lots of "Order Now!" and "Rush My Order" buttons scattered throughout the site.
But, that doesn't matter if the product is effective at reducing wrinkles and fine lines. Looking at some of the before-and-after photos, the Kollagen Intensiv daily moisturizer seems to deliver. Originally designed in Switzerland, the cream helps your skin's production of collagen using a proprietary peptide called SYN-COLL - which, according to a clinical study, improved the test subjects' overall appearance of wrinkles by 354% when used twice daily for a total of 84 days.
That 84-day mark cuts fairly close to Kollagen Intensiv's 90-day return period. The company allows you to return up to 3 empty boxes (i.e. you've used three jars of product) along with any unopened boxes, if you're unsatisfied with your results. You'll be eligible for a full refund, minus any shipping and handling costs on the delivery and/or the return.
Kollagen Intensiv is priced affordably, starting at $59.95 for a 1-month supply (one jar), with options to purchase up to 7 months of product for $289.95. This latter package comes with attractive extras, such as free shipping and a facial cloth.
We were shocked to find customer reviews that said they received used containers of the product: with very clear finger swipes through the cream that looked like they'd been filled in with extra product. We're not sure if those were shipped directly from Kollagen Intensiv's warehouses or through a third-party reseller, but it's something to watch for.
Overall, Kollagen Intensiv helps many people to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and gives them firmer, younger-looking skin. But, their product line is limited to just one anti-aging cream, so you'll still need to find another place to buy cleanser, toner, or any other products you'd like to have in your skincare regimen.
It would be nice if we could keep our skin flawless as we get older, but the aging process takes its toll on everyone. When it comes to dealing with fine lines and wrinkles, anti aging creams are often the best and most affordable option.
For many years, Botox injections were the most popular means of trying to keep faces looking young. But these injections come with their own drawbacks - including, but not limited to, pain during the injuection and the high costs over time as the effects fade. There are also numerous side effects to Botox that range from allergic reactions and flu-like symptoms to longer-term issues like pointed eyebrows and droopy eyes.
Given those less-than-reassuring complications, is it any wonder that so many people turn to anti-aging creams to get noticeable results without the expense and side effects? Finding the right cream for your skin is a matter of trial-and-error: each formulation can react differently for every individual.
It's important to be patient while looking for the one that will have your skin looking younger every day. Fortunately, many of these products come with a no-risk return policy, so that you can get a refund if a particular anti-aging cream doesn't reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines the way you'd hoped.
Among the dozens of products currently available, how can you decide which one to use first? As you consider both the creams and the companies that sell them, here are several factors to keep in mind:
