Skinception by Dave David, M.D., was a line created entirely with the purpose of targeting the signs of aging and to rejuvenate the skin with clinically-proven ingredients. Whether you're dealing with scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, or hyperpigmentation, Skinception was formulated to come to the rescue.

A handful of anti-aging products

There are 5 topical products created by Skinception that can be used for anti-aging, plus one supplement you can take in pill form called Phyto350 that sells for $54.95. It is meant to work from the inside out to reduce lines and wrinkles, protect the skin from sun aging, give a quick facelift effect, repair damaged skin, and replace lipids that are lost with age. The other products include a toner, exfoliator, collagen renewing cream, eye serum, and instant wrinkle reducer.

Instant wrinkle reduction for 8 hours

Instant wrinkle reducers are appealing - who doesn't want to be able to apply a bit of cream around their face and instantly see a reduction in their wrinkles? But is it too good to be true? Skinception's Instant Wrinkle Reducer comes in either a 1 ($59.95), 3 ($154.95), or 6 ($289.95) pack of pump bottles. For up to 8 hours, you should see your wrinkles disappear, made possible by a Botox-derived peptide called Argireline, which freezes muscular contractions that are responsible for wrinkles and uses hyaluronic acid to make facial skin plump and bright. The product appears to have 5 stars from customers, but we weren't able to click on them and read what people had to say, which we don't like.

Eye rejuvenation within 4 weeks

Eyelasticity is Skinception's eye serum that was formulated to diminish laugh lines, crow's feet, dark circles, delicate skin, and puffiness. Results should show up within 4 weeks and Skinception's clinical studies showed that 90% of participants saw reduced under-eye puffiness, depth of wrinkles improved by 21%, and dark circles were lightened by 35%. You can buy a single pump bottle of Eyelasticity for $59.95 or as many as 6 pump bottles in one order for a discounted rate of $289.95. Again, this product appeared to have high customer ratings, but it means nothing to us since we can't view them.

Your all-in-one

Kollagen Intensiv is one of the anti-aging products that seems like a good go-to formula to have on-hand and add to your skincare routine. This cream is said to reduce wrinkles by 354% (some of these stats seem sky high and we aren't sure their exact calculations or research methods for achieving them) which sounds extremely impressive. The product increases collagen, erases fine lines, firms, tones, moisturizes, and repairs sun damage. Skinception says that their Kollagen Intensiv product should replace your moisturizer, night cream, and other anti-aging creams because it works during the day and in the evening for round-the-clock wrinkle repair. One jar of Kollagen Intensiv is $59.95, but you can buy up to 6, with freebies thrown in the more you buy. For example, if you buy 3 jars, you'll get 1 free for $154.95. If you buy as many as 6 jars, you'll get 3 free for a total of $289.95. We don't know how long a jar lasts on the shelf, but we assume that if you get 9 of them, it could last you as long as a couple of years.

All orders over $150 ship free throughout the United States. Also, it's somewhat of a random timeframe, but you have 67 days (60 days + 1 week of shipping) to try out Skinception's products before deciding whether or not to return them for a full refund. You can even send back used bottles and you'll get all your money back, minus return shipping.

Few reviews

Skinception is owned by Leading Edge Health Inc., a company with an "A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau. There are a few third-party ratings for Skinception, which we wanted to find since we can't read reviews on their website. People mostly have good things to say, but there is far less feedback about this company than others we've researched.

Give it a try

We want to be dazzled by the quantitative results Skinception provides about their anti-aging products, but we wish we could see what the majority of customers have to say about their experience. We like that you can read full ingredient lists on each product and that you can get a bulk discount when you buy more at a time. Since nothing here is wildly expensive, it might be fun to try out the Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Kollagen Intensiv to see how well they work for you. Maybe start with a single tube or jar and then get more later if you're seeing major results. We aren't entirely sold on this anti-aging product line, but don't see any reason to turn away from it either, so Skinception has earned an average rating from us.
