On the Voltaren website

If you're dealing with arthritis pain, Voltaren Arthritis Pain Gel is definitely worth considering. It's an over-the-counter (OTC) nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps relieve pain, stiffness, and inflammation. The active ingredient, diclofenac sodium, works by blocking prostaglandins, which are substances that cause pain and inflammation. This makes it a great option for conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Voltaren used to be available only by prescription, but now you can buy it without one.

Affordable and backed by a generous satisfaction guarantee

You can get Voltaren for $32.99 for two 3.5 oz tubes of cream, and there's a subscribe-and-save discount if you want to make sure you always have this arthritis relief on hand (literally and figuratively). Plus, it comes with a 45-day satisfaction guarantee, so you can try it risk-free: see if it works for you without worrying about wasting your money.

Instructions must be followed very carefully

To get the best results, apply Voltaren four times a day for up to 21 days. Just remember to focus on one or two areas at a time. Many people start feeling better within a few days, and by around a week, they notice a big difference. The product comes with a dosing card to help you get the right amount, and it's extremely important to wear gloves when applying it to avoid getting it in your eyes. (You know that feeling when you were cutting jalapeños earlier in the day, and you find out the hard way that you didn't quite get it all out from off your hands and under your nails? It's a little like that with Voltaren...) The good news is that the tubes of gel have easy-flip caps that can be opened with just one hand, so it shouldn't be too hard to dispense the product (even with gloves on).

Generally safe, but a few possible side effects

Like any medication, Voltaren can have some side effects. These might include stomach upset, nausea, or diarrhea. There's also a risk of heart problems, especially if you have a history of heart disease. But, in general, Voltaren is safe and has been used by many people without major issues.

Not worried about the "B" from the BBB

The GSK split-off company that makes Voltaren, Haleon, has a "B" rating from the Better Business Bureau, but it's for failing to respond to 6 complaints. When you consider the total brand profile of this corporation, including well-known products like Excedrin and TUMS, a half-dozen complaints barely registers.

Over 50,000 5-star reviews

More importantly, lots of people love Voltaren because it really works. Over 50,000 users have given it a perfect five-star rating. For many, it's the only product that has helped with their joint pain, when other medications have failed. The key is to use it regularly - four times a day - as missing a dose can bring the pain back quickly. Given how careful you have to be to not get it in your eyes, that could mean investing a bigger-than-average amount of time to use Voltaren (compared with popping a capsule in your mouth a couple times a day), but if it works as effectively for you as it has for tens of thousands of people, you'll probably think it's well worth the time.

#1 for arthritis relief

Overall, Voltaren is the best choice for anyone looking to manage their arthritis symptoms and feel better. It's effective, safe, and affordable - what more could you ask for? If you don't mind putting in the effort to use it as directed, this arthritis product should be the first one you try for long-lasting relief.

On the Australian Dream website

Despite the name, Australian Dream is an American-built, family-owned company that has been around since 1997. The Maddox brothers were inspired by their father's decades of dedication and service as the only doctor in an impoverished county in Appalachia, creating Australian Dream to continue delivering "care in a jar" to soothe everyday aches and pains.

Easy to use

Using this Australian Dream cream is easy-breezy. Just massage a small amount into the affected area(s), up to 4 times a day. It should absorb fairly quickly, and there should be no issues with staining on clothing or other surfaces.

Long list of effective ingredients

So, what's in Australian Dream's "care in a jar" Arthritis Pain Relief Cream? We'll tell you right away not to expect an all-natural, homeopathic lineup here. You'll see some familiar ingredients (sunflower oil), some "interesting" ones (emu oil?), and then a long list of harder-to-pronounce components like butylene glycol and chondroitin sulfate. The star of the show is histamine dihydrochloride: it serves to open blood vessels, so that more oxygen and nutrients can get to the painful spots and relieve those aches. The good news is that this cream is fragrance-free and has no NSAIDs, two areas where rival products often get downgraded by customers.

One of the most affordable arthritis relief products

If budget is a factor in choosing an arthritis relief product, you're going to love Australian Dream. Their Arthritis Pain Relief Cream costs just $16.99 for a 2 oz jar, $22.49 for a 4 oz jar, and $44.99 for a 9 oz jar. And, once you've decided that this is going to be your go-to remedy and you want to make sure it's always on hand, you can switch to a subscription plan and save 10%, 15%, or more, depending on what coupons might be in place at the time you set it up.

Unparalleled refund policy

We were stunned to see the generosity of Australian Dream's satisfaction guarantee. You've got 90 days to use their Arthritis Pain Relief Cream: use up as much as you like, and if it doesn't give you the improvements you were hoping for, you can get a full refund, no questions asked.

Nearly 10,000 5-star ratings

Will you need that refund policy? If customer reviews are any indicator, you won't. Across nearly 10,000 ratings (verified by Fakespot as legit), this Australian Dream product has gotten an impressive 4.4-star average. That means more than 9,000 people have given Arthritis Pain Relief Cream a perfect 5-star score. Customers are thrilled that this cream isn't greasy or smelly, that it delivers long-lasting relief, and that it's really affordable to boot. Plus, Australian Dream's parent company, Nature's Health Connection, is an "A+"-rated business with the BBB, so we have absolutely zero concerns here.

Great non-NSAID arthritis relief

Australian Dream's Arthritis Pain Relief Cream is a great option to try for your aches and pains, especially if you're trying to avoid NSAIDs. Thousands of people have felt better just by using this affordable cream, and that satisfaction guarantee is a rarity for this type of product. Although it's not an all-natural product, that might not make any difference to you if getting relief is your main priority. Australian Dream deserves to share the spotlight with the other top products on our list.

On the Arnicare Arthritis Cream website

Boiron's Arnicare Arthritis Cream offers a natural approach to relieving minor arthritis pain and stiffness. This homeopathic formula combines two key ingredients: Arnica montana and Harpagophytum, also known as devil's claw. The cream is designed to absorb quickly into the skin, targeting joint discomfort at the source without any burning or stinging sensation.

Read the ingredients carefully before using

As mentioned, this cream is a primarily homeopathic for arthritis pain, but we'd encourage you to read the ingredients list carefully. Why? Because there is a long list of inactive ingredients, many of which are not as "all natural" as you might have thought this product was. That list includes several unpleasantly-unpronounceable components like acrylamide/sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate copolymer and isohexadecane, plus sweet almond oil (which could be problematic for people with severe nut sensitivities). On the plus side, Arnicare Arthritis Cream is fragrance-free; most of its earthy-crunchy rivals get negative reviews for having a strong smell, so that's points in favor of this product.

You can use it up to 4x a day

Using this cream is pretty straightforward. Apply a thin layer wherever your arthritis is flaring up, up to 4 times a day. If you're using it on a part of your body where you've just applied heat or cold (such as a heating pad or ice pack), just wait 5 minutes before applying Arnicare Arthritis Cream. It's safe for anyone 12 and up, and Boiron just recommends checking with a doctor before using it with younger children.

Hard to pass up at under $12

This is one of the most affordable arthritis relief products on our list. You'll pay just $11.24 for a 2.5 oz tube, $18.99 for a 4.2 oz tube, $25.96 for a 4.2 oz pump, or $34.98 for 2 4.2 oz tubes. There's also a subscribe-and-save discount available on all of those, which is a great way to spend a little less and keep your supply of Arnicare Arthritis Cream well-stocked.

Great feedback from customers

We're happy to report that Boiron earned an "A-" from the Better Business Bureau, with the slight downgrade for failing to respond to just one complaint. More importantly, Arnicare Arthritis Cream has over 1,600 ratings that average out to 4.4 stars, making it one of the most highly-rated arthritis relief products in our evaluation. Many users appreciate its quick absorption and lack of strong odor. Some people have noted significant relief from joint pain and swelling, although your results may vary.

Well worth trying for arthritis relief

Arnicare Arthritis Cream by Boiron easily earns a high score from us. It's affordable, gets lots of perfect ratings from happy customers, and is a mostly natural way to get relief from arthritis pain. As long as you're okay with the lengthy ingredients list (and aren't allergic to sweet almond oil), we'd recommend grabbing a tube of this cream and seeing how it works for you: even without a satisfaction guarantee, Arnicare Arthritis Cream is priced low enough to give it a shot.

On the Bodymune JointRelief website

Bodymune's JointRelief supplement is a natural solution for those seeking relief from arthritis pain. Since its inception in 2012, Bodymune has been harnessing the power of ancient wisdom and natural ingredients to create high-quality, organic supplements. Their USDA Certified Organic facility in Seattle is where all their products, including JointRelief, are manufactured.

All-natural ingredients

JointRelief is packed with an impressive array of natural, organic ingredients. The list includes well-known components like ashwagandha, turmeric extract, and ginger, as well as less common additions such as noni, mangosteen, and sea buckthorn oils. While the exact synergistic effects aren't detailed by Bodymune, many of these ingredients are frequently found in natural arthritis relief products. You'll still want to read the full list, though, because with more than a dozen components to JointRelief's formula, it's important to make sure that there's nothing you're allergic or sensitive to, or that might interact with other things you're taking. Here's what you'll find in Bodymune JointRelief:

  • Ashwagandha
  • Noni
  • Mangosteen
  • Pomegranate
  • Black pepper
  • Beet
  • Aloe vera
  • Moringa
  • Papaya leaf
  • Turmeric
  • Ginger
  • Amla
  • Sea buckthorn oils
  • Schisandra
  • Goji
  • Maqui
  • Acai

Don't take with meals

For optimal results, it's recommended to take JointRelief with plain water, avoiding other beverages like smoothies or coffee. It's also suggested to leave at least a 10-minute gap before or after eating to maximize the supplement's benefits.

Less than $20/month

One of JointRelief's most attractive features is its affordability. A 60-capsule bottle, which typically lasts two months at the recommended one-capsule-per-day dosage, is priced at just $35.95 (and there's also a 10-15% subscribe-and-save discount, if you decide that this is your long-term arthritis relief strategy). For those experiencing severe inflammation, Bodymune suggests considering a twice-daily regimen until symptoms calm down.

Best Arthritis Products

30-day refund policy, no questions asked

One of the reasons that JointRelief gets a near-perfect rating is that Bodymune stands behind it with a customer-friendly 30-day refund policy. If you're not satisfied with the results, you can contact their customer service for a no-questions-asked refund, and they cover the shipping to send back any unused capsules. There aren't many arthritis relief products out there that let you get your money back if you don't see improvements, so that's a lot of points in JointRelief's favor.

Reviews are positive, but not all of them are legit

The feedback from users of JointRelief is really encouraging. Many people have seen significant improvements in their joint health, with some even noticing changes within just a few days. From improved mobility to reduced pain, JointRelief has helped many regain their active lifestyle. Of course, everyone's body is different, so results can vary, but it's great to see so many positive stories. We do recommend taking the 400+ 4- and 5-star ratings with a grain of salt; Fakespot's analysis says those reviews more accurately average out to 3 stars, but you're still backed by that refund policy if JointRelief doesn't work for you.

Best of the arthritis relief supplements

Overall, JointRelief is a great option if you're looking for a natural way to manage arthritis pain. It's affordable, easy to incorporate into your daily routine, and comes with a reassuring refund policy. Plus, it's unlikely to interfere with other medications you might be taking. So, if you're considering a new approach to arthritis relief, JointRelief is definitely worth trying.

On the Arthritis Pain Relief Rubbing Oil website

Frankincense & Myrrh's Arthritis Pain Relief Rubbing Oil is a topical product designed to provide temporary relief from arthritis pain. The oil is formulated with natural ingredients including frankincense and myrrh essential oils (as you might guess from the company's name).

Lots of essential oils, not just frankincense and myrrh

But, let's take a closer look at the ingredient list, since frankincense and myrrh aren't the only components to this arthritis relief remedy:

  • Frankincense
  • Myrrh
  • Geranium
  • Nutmeg
  • Lemon
  • Rosemary
  • Bergamot
  • Eucalyptus
  • Cinnamon

How do all of those essential oils come together to lessen your arthritis stiffness and pain? That's a great question, but Frankincense & Myrrh doesn't go into any details. You'd have to do your own research to figure that out; it's an area where this company has some room for improvement, rather than the "just trust us" kind of vibe they currently give. And, by the way, those oils are all listed as "inactive ingredients". What's the one and only active ingredient in this Arthritis Pain Relief Rubbing Oil? Menthol. So, how much you're actually getting of the essential oils vs. the traditional menthol found in many rival products is a big question mark.

Massage in the oil up to 4x a day

Using this rubbing oil is not hard at all. You apply 10-30 drops into your hand and massage the affected areas. You can repeat this up to 4 times a day, though most people report that they only need to use Arthritis Pain Relief once or twice daily to feel significant improvement.

Affordable to try

Naturally, how long a 2 fl.oz. bottle will last depends on how often you're using this product. But, at a price of just $22.99 (with an optional subscribe-and-save discount of 5% or 10%), you're not exactly going to empty your wallet trying Arthritis Pain Relief Rubbing Oil.

Best Arthritis Products

Satisfaction is guaranteed

Better yet, Frankincense & Myrrh backs its products with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you try this arthritis product and don't get relief, no problem: you simply upload your receipt through the company's online refund request link and get your money back. You don't see that with every product on our list, so that moves Arthritis Pain Relief Rubbing Oil up in our rankings.

Enthusiastic feedback from thousands of users

How about reputation? Frankincense & Myrrh is a brand of Wise Consumer Products; that parent company has an "A+" rating from the Better Business Bureau, with no complaints filed there. Even more important, though, are this product's specific reviews, and we were thrilled (and a little surprised) to see that across more than 2,000 ratings - analyzed and determined to be legit by the Fakespot tool - Arthritis Pain Relief Rubbing Oil had an average of 4.3 out of 5 stars, with more than 80% of customers giving it a 4- or 5-star rating. Besides all of the (paid) testimonials from once-famous athletes now past their prime, users say that this oil does what it promises, even without a detailed explanation of how all of the essential oils work synergistically. Multiple reviews mention that it has a strong but not unpleasant smell, and they'd warn you to keep it away from your eyes (and maybe apply it while wearing latex or vinyl gloves).

Topical arthritis pain relief you should consider trying

At the end of the day, while we'd love to get all of the research behind the components of Frankincense & Myrrh's Arthritis Pain Relief Rubbing Oil, the fact remains that it's doing a better-than-average job of helping people feel better. It's at a great price point, and the satisfaction guarantee means you've got nothing to lose by giving it a try. It won't be the ideal arthritis relief remedy for people who don't like topical remedies (or ones that are strongly scented), but we give this product our recommendation for everyone else.

On the H-Arthritis Formula website

If you're searching for a natural, non-oral solution for arthritis pain, Healing Natural Oils' H-Arthritis Formula could be just what you need. This topical product is applied directly to the affected areas up to three times a day, offering a convenient and gentle approach to managing arthritis symptoms.

Nothing but natural ingredients

One of the best things about H-Arthritis Formula is its all-natural ingredient list. It includes familiar botanicals like arnica, known for soothing muscle pain, and boswellia, which has anti-inflammatory properties. Other key ingredients include juniper and thyme, both natural pain relievers, as well as lavender, black pepper, and Apium graveolens. These ingredients are combined with Corylus avellana nut oil to create a formula that aims to relieve pain and reduce inflammation. According to the Healing Natural Oils, the formula is FDA-listed and manufactured in a GMP (good manufacturing practices) facility in the USA. Their ingredients include:

  • Apium graveolens 12C
  • Arnica montana 12C
  • Corylus avellana nut oil
  • Boswellia carterii oleo-gum-resin
  • Juniperus communis berry
  • Lavandula officinalis flower bud
  • Matricaria recutita flower
  • Piper nigrum corns
  • Thymus vulgaris stems & leaves

Apply it up to 3x a day

Using H-Arthritis is incredibly easy. Just apply a small amount of the oil to the affected area up to three times daily. A little goes a long way, so your bottle could last a very long time.

No inflation in these prices, thankfully

Unlike virtually every other product we've evaluated recently, the price for H-Arthritis Formula has not gone up since our last review. It still comes in two sizes: 11 mL for $34.95 and 33 mL for $69.95, and there's a subscribe-and-save discount when you determine if this is something you want to keep in stock in your medicine cabinet. If your order totals over $49, you'll also get free shipping, and you might even spot a pop-up offering a $5 discount if you sign up for Healing Natural Oils' newsletter.

Best Arthritis Products

Strong brand reputation

Healing Natural Oils is "A+" rated and accredited by the BBB, and there have only been two complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau in the last three years. That's pretty amazing, but you'll be even more impressed when you look at H-Arthritis Formula's reviews. This arthritis relief product has an average of 4.8 out of 5 stars (though that's only across 100 ratings). Users describe it as "warming, odorless, and effective", and most reviews mention feeling much less pain and stiffness in the joints.

Customer-friendly money-back guarantee within 90 days

But, even if H-Arthritis Formula doesn't do the trick for you, it's risk-free to give it a try. Why? Healing Natural Oils stands by all of its products, offering a very generous 90-day money-back guarantee.

Holding strong

Keep in mind that H-Arthritis Formula isn't a cure for arthritis and may not address every aspect of the condition. However, if you prefer a non-pill-based option to help relieve pain and inflammation, this is one of the most-recommended products on our list. With its natural ingredients, easy application, and strong satisfaction guarantee, H-Arthritis Formula from Healing Natural Oils easily maintains its high rating from us.

On the Owell Naturals Pain Relief Ointment website

Owell Naturals offers Pain Relief Ointment as a catch-all, deep-penetrating pain reliever - covering not just arthritis but sore muscles, aching joints, leg and back pain, and so on. All Owen Naturals products are made in the USA and professionally-formulated, free of parabens, and not tested on animals.

Shorter list of ingredients, but still effective

We were surprised to see some big changes to the ingredients list for this topical ointment since the last time we evaluated it. Where in the past it contained 11 ingredients, the list now simply consists of menthol, oil of camphor, methyl salicylate, eucalyptus oil, oil of pine needle, and petrolatum. That can be good news if you're prone to skin sensitivities; maybe the castor oil or cinnamomum that used to be in this Owell Naturals arthritis product would have bothered you in ways that this more pared-down product won't.

Lots of bang for your buck

You'll still get a lot for your money here. Owell Naturals charges $25.97 for a 7 oz container of its Pain Relief Ointment, but from what we've seen, a little goes a very long way. You could get a discount of 10% or 15% if you opt for the subscribe-and-save plan, but we'd recommend buying this as a one-off first, and then see how long it lasts you. Since you're using it "as needed", one container could suffice for several months.

Best Arthritis Products

Thousands of 4- and 5-star reviews

The reputation for Owell Naturals can be a bit harder to suss out: we didn't find any listing for the company with the Better Business Bureau, which is surprising given that all of their products are proudly made in the USA. We also tried calling the phone number listed on the packaging for the Pain Relief Ointment, and only got someone answering with "Hello?" That's weird. Fortunately, though, there are more than 2,300 4- and 5-star reviews for this product, and the handy-dandy Fakespot tool not only determined that this Owell Naturals' ointment has legitimate reviews, but also that the company itself is an approved seller.

A multi-tool for your medicine cabinet

And what are people saying about Pain Relief Ointment? It's often discussed as being a "jack of all trades", dealing with everything from arthritis pain to bunions and even congestion and sore throats. Many reviews mention the strong smell (it is a menthol/camphor/eucalyptus/pine blend, after all), but it's not an unpleasant one. Others note that it's a bit greasy when you apply it, so you may want to try and cover up the area after you apply the ointment to avoid staining your bedding, clothing, furniture, and so on.

Better than average for arthritis pain (and other woes)

We've bumped Owell Naturals Pain Relief Ointment up a bit in our ratings since our last review. There are now many more 5-star reviews than last time, we like the simplified ingredients list, and this could be a great "multi-tool" to have in your medicine cabinet for everything that hurts - arthritis and beyond. It's not going to be the ideal product for those who don't like topically-applied remedies (or who can't stand the strong smell of this ointment), but we'd say this is an above-average choice for dealing with arthritis pain.

On the Ligaplex II website

Ligaplex II by Standard Process is a dietary supplement designed to support connective tissue health and musculoskeletal function. While it's not specifically marketed as an arthritis relief product, it may help you maintain healthy joints and cartilage, making it more of a preventative measure than a product aimed at reducing acute arthritis aches and pains. If you're looking for long-term support for your joints and connective tissues, this supplement could be worth considering.

Lots of animal products in the ingredients

We'll start out by saying that if you're a vegetarian or vegan, Ligaplex II is absolutely not the supplement for you. The ingredients list contains quite a few animal products, like bovine and ovine spleen, veal and bovine bone, and several other inclusions that might make even non-vegetarians a little squeamish.

Make sure you know what's in this supplement

What else is in this product? The "interesting-ness" continues: how often have you taken a supplement with Spanish moss or ribonucleic acid (yes, folks, that's RNA)? You'll also find 1,522% of the daily recommended value of manganese, two different kinds of mushroom powder, sweet potato and carrot, defatted wheat germ and organic oat flour, among many other ingredients. You'll want to look over that list very carefully if you have any allergies or sensitivities, before you commit to taking Ligaplex II. Here are some of the ingreidents in the Ligaplex II proprietary blend:

  • Nutritional yeast
  • Bovine bone
  • Veal bone extract
  • Bovine liver
  • Wheat germ
  • Bovine heart extract
  • Spanish moss
  • Shiitake mushroom powder

Over $40 for a one-month supply

Plan on taking 2 capsules of Ligaplex II twice a day with meals. One bottle comes with 150 capsules, so that will last you a little over a month. But, at a price point of $48.60/bottle, this is one of the more expensive products on our list of arthritis relief options, even if you go for the subscribe-and-save option and get a discount of 5% or 10%.

Best Arthritis Products

Thousands of happy customers (including dogs)

And, as far as reputation goes, Ligaplex II and Standard Process as a whole do quite well. The company has an "A+" rating and accreditation from the Better Business Bureau, for starters. And, across nearly 2,000 ratings, the supplement itself has an average of 4.6 stars out of 5, with over 1,700 5-star reviews in the mix. People say that this is the only product they've ever used that successfully reduced their joint pain, and it's especially effective for those who have had hip or knee replacements. (What's funny is that many of the reviews with images show the patients using Ligaplex II... and they're the four-legged canine variety!)

Unclear how long you'll need to wait for results

We're not sure how long you'd need to take this supplement to feel noticeable relief from arthritis pain, but it might be worth using "in the background" while you try a topical cream/oil or an NSAID for the more immediate discomfort. And, the downside is that Standard Process doesn't have the most clearly-defined satisfaction guarantee: you can contact their third-party order handler, Pattern, within 30 days of your order date "to receive assistance", but they don't promise that you'll get a refund.

Has some significant pros and cons

We have mixed feelings about recommending Ligaplex II as an arthritis relief product. It might be a supplement that really does take a successful, long-term approach to remedy your problems at the source, and we're all for that. On the other hand, if you're experiencing aches and pains now (...and tomorrow, and the next day...), you may need to try one of the topical products on our list to get you by until the Ligaplex II really kicks in. Plus, at nearly $50 for a little over a month's supply, this product is more of an investment than most. And, all of that is saying nothing about the "meaty" ingredients list. All of this combines to earn Standard Process' Ligaplex II a middle-of-the-road rating among the arthritis relief options on our list.

On the Inflamma Go website

InflammaGo by Native Remedies might be worth considering if you're looking for a natural way to ease muscle and joint discomfort. This homeopathic liquid formula is designed to help with inflammation, pain, and stiffness - and while the branding focuses on such symptoms resulting from sports or intense activities, the tincture can also be effective for arthritis relief.

5 homeopathic ingredients

InflammaGo contains five main homeopathic ingredients: Arnica, Berberis, Bryonia, Dulcamara, and Rhus tox. You might recognize Arnica as a natural remedy for sprains and strains. Berberis helps with pain, while Bryonia targets discomfort that gets worse when you move. Dulcamara and Rhus tox are added to help with joint stiffness, especially in cold weather. If you're looking for something all-natural with no additives, this is it.

Might need additional supplements

Keep in mind that InflammaGo doesn't address all aspects of joint health, like maintaining healthy cartilage. If you're looking for comprehensive joint support, you might want to consider using this product alongside other supplements. Native Remedies has an extensive product line to choose from, including capsules for increased joint health and for decreasing inflammation throughout your body, so don't be afraid to add some of those to your regimen.

Best Arthritis Products

Take with water or drop directly into your mouth

Using InflammaGo is easy: mix 0.5 mL with ¼ cup of water and sip it slowly, or simply drop it directly into your mouth. You can take it 3-5 times a day as needed. A single bottle usually lasts about 30 days, depending on how often you use it. And price? Expect to pay $35.96 for one 2 oz bottle, or $64.95 for two bottles.

Not a lot of feedback to go by

How about reputation? On the bright side, Native Remedies has maintained an "A+" rating and accreditation from the Better Business Bureau for many years; we have zero concerns about the reliability of this company or the purity of its supplements like InflammaGo. But, their products often have few reviews to go by, and this tincture is no different. The feedback that does exist is positive, with some users reporting relief from aches and pains within weeks. However, because there aren't many reviews, it's hard to say how well it will work for you - and, depending on where you buy InflammaGo, you might not be able to get a refund if you don't get the results you're hoping for with your arthritis symptoms.

Might not be as effective as higher-ranked arthritis relief products

InflammaGo might provide relief for some users, but more feedback would be helpful to fully recommend it. If you prefer an oral liquid over capsules or topical creams and ointments, this Native Remedies product is a decent alternative, but it might not pack quite enough punch to really lessen your arthritis symptoms.

On the MuJo Chronic Tonic website

Chronic Tonic is a cream designed for relieving joint and muscle pain, suitable for arthritis, sprains, and other related conditions. It's made by MuJo, but as much as we'd love to tell you more about the Colorado-based company, they're pretty tight-lipped about who they are and what they do.

Make sure you know what's in it first

Chronic Tonic has an ingredient list with some surprises. Its main active ingredient is camphor, a topical analgesic found in lots of arthritis relief products. That wasn't a shocker, but going through the list of inactive components of this cream, we found plenty of items we couldn't pronounce (like hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and fructoborate) - along with a few that made us wonder about safety, like "organic cannabis sativa seed oil". If you have any kind of allergy or sensitivity, we strongly recommend reading the ingredients list in detail; maybe you need to avoid peppermint oil, or you've had reactions or horse chestnut extract or arnica.

Massage it in (and wash your hands afterwards)

Fortunately, there's nothing crazy about how you use Chronic Tonic. You can apply it to areas of arthritis pain up to 4 times a day; just massage it in as needed. MuJo does recommend washing your hands after you apply it, so that you don't accidentally get it into your eyes. (We imagine that the peppermint oil in particular would sting.) You should get instant relief from those aches and pains, but this cream is also designed to moisturize your skin over time.

Best Arthritis Products

Not expensive, but not clear on refund terms

At $19 for a 3 oz tube, Chronic Tonic is budget-friendly. There's no subscribe-and-save discount, however, and we couldn't find any indication that MuJo will give you a refund if you're not satisfied with the results from using this arthritis relief cream. We did a deep dive into the company and found that they promise "100% satisfaction guaranteed", but there was nothing describing the terms and conditions for getting your money back, no phone number to contact MuJo, you get the idea.

Reviews may not be legitimate

We also can't get excited about Chronic Tonic's reputation. There were only a few dozen reviews during the time of our evaluation, and the Fakespot tool we use determined that only 20% of those reviews were reliable. We never get a good feeling when we see "there is high deception involved" in that analysis.

Not an arthritis relief product we recommend (yet)

Maybe once MuJo has had more time to establish its reputation, we'll be able to boost our rating of Chronic Tonic. In the meanwhile, however, we'd recommend going with one of the highly-rated, more reliable arthritis relief products on our list. There's just not anything so unique (or trustworthy) about this formula to earn it more than a lower rating.

What's the Most Effective Product for Arthritis Relief?

If you're dealing with arthritis, you're definitely not alone. Arthritis is one of the most common chronic health issues, affecting millions of people worldwide. The main symptoms - pain, stiffness, swelling, and reduced range of motion - can make everyday activities challenging, from opening jars to getting out of bed in the morning.

While there's no cure for arthritis, there are plenty of over-the-counter (OTC) products that can help manage your symptoms and make life more comfortable. You don't need a prescription to get relief: these products can help reduce inflammation, numb pain, and improve joint flexibility. The most effective arthritis relief products typically fall into one of three categories: topical applications, oral medications, and supplements.

You may not know this, but arthritis is not just one condition: the term "arthritis" actually covers more than 100 different types of joint-related disorders, with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis being the most common. It happens when the tissues in your joints break down or become inflamed.

In osteoarthritis (the most common form), the cartilage that cushions your joints wears down over time, causing bones to rub against each other - which leads to pain and stiffness. This type of arthritis usually develops with age or after joint injuries.

Rheumatoid arthritis, on the other hand, is an autoimmune disease where the body's immune system mistakenly attacks the joints, leading to inflammation and damage. Other types, like psoriatic arthritis and gout, have their own causes and symptoms, but they all share one thing in common: discomfort that makes it harder to stay active and pain-free.

How do you know which form of arthritis relief is right for you? That depends on many factors, including other medications and supplements you may already be taking, any sensitivities you may have (skin or gastrointestinal allergies), and your ability to be consistent with the approach you ultimately choose. Here are a few criteria you can use to narrow down the options for arthritis relief:

To help you get the relief you desperately need, the experts at Top Consumer Reviews have researched and ranked some of today's most popular arthritis products. Managing arthritis can feel like a daily challenge, but the right remedy can make a big difference. The key is to be consistent with your choice and pay attention to how your body responds. With a little trial and error, you can find a routine that works for you and helps keep arthritis pain under control!

Arthritis Relief Product FAQ

What is arthritis?
Arthritis is a broad term that describes joint pain. There are over 100 different types of arthritis that affect various parts of the body. It is a painful condition caused by inflammation that can worsen with age. It can also be brought on by wear and tear, an infection, or underlying diseases. Symptoms include pain, reduced range of motion, swelling, and stiffness.
Who suffers from arthritis?
Arthritis is very common, with over 3 million new cases each year. Although arthritis is usually seen in adults aged 65 or older, it can develop in children, teens, and young adults. It is more common in women than men and in people who are overweight. Since there are many forms of arthritis and many underlying causes, it is an ailment that can develop in anyone at any age.
Can arthritis be cured?
Sadly there is no cure for arthritis. There are things people can do to reduce their symptoms like physical therapy, medication, over-the-counter products, and sometimes surgery. Practicing self-care by exercising, icing the affected area, and weight loss can help. Since arthritis is chronic, it can last for years or a lifetime.
Are arthritis products safe?
Not every product on the market that claims to help arthritis is guaranteed to be safe, but most are. Make sure to understand the ingredients and read customer reviews before purchasing a product to ease arthritis symptoms. Many supplements, especially those rated by TopConsumerReviews, are homeopathic and derived from natural ingredients.
Are arthritis products expensive?
Not usually. Compared to an expensive prescription or the cost of surgery (not to mention the recovery!) arthritis products found online are a great, affordable alternative. For a good formula, you could expect to pay somewhere around $30 - $70 per month. If you buy a few months' worth of arthritis products at a time, you can often get a discount from the retailer.
What if an arthritis product doesn't work for me?
Check to see if the company you bought from has a satisfaction guarantee. If they do, it means that they are so confident in their arthritis product that they'll let you return it used or unused within a given timeframe for a full refund. It's a great idea to go with a company that offers a money-back guarantee, so you have nothing to lose!
How long does it take for an arthritis product to be effective?
Since every formula is different and the ways they are administered can vary, result times aren't guaranteed. In addition, some people's bodies respond quickly to a new product and others take a few weeks longer. Follow the directions on the packaging exactly and you'll usually begin to find arthritis relief anywhere from right away to within a couple of weeks.
Do I need to use arthritis products long-term?
Since arthritis can't be cured, the products you find will mostly be effective in managing the symptoms. This means that as long as you use them, you'll find relief from the pain. If you find an arthritis product that you really like, plan to use it for years to come. It is 100% worth it if you can get back to your normal life without the constant distraction of the aching and throbbing sensations of arthritis.
