Bed Bath & Beyond is a retail chain that specializes in furniture, housewares, and specialty items. There has been some confusion with the public over the future of the brand, after the chain filed for bankruptcy in 2023. They closed their stores and seemed to be disappearing and liquidating their inventory until they were acquired by Overstock (now Beyond, Inc.), a company based out of Midvale, Utah. They also own Overstock, Baby & Beyond, and Zulily.
Fairly small selection
As Bed Bath & Beyond gets back on their feet, their inventory of home goods, rugs, kitchenware, furniture, lighting, and baby gear is growing. However, their stroller selection isn't anything you'll be blown away by. There are just 43 results for strollers here, broken down between full-sized strollers, travel systems, lightweight strollers, double strollers, and jogging strollers. Most of them are a solid, simple black color and don't have other options. There is also a small selection of accessories like a parent console organizer, mosquito net, stroller fans, and ride-on boards.
You won't pay for shipping
The stroller brands from Bed Bath & Beyond include Graco, Baby Jogger, Delta Children, Gap, Evenflo, Royalbaby, and Shatex. Prices range from $179.99 for a single Graco jogging stroller to $899.99 for a baby Jogger travel system (includes a carseat). Orders over $49.99 qualify for free shipping from Bed Bath & Beyond, so any of the strollers you buy here won't incur shipping fees.
Decent website
Bed Bath & Beyond has a decent website that makes it simple enough to filter down the features of a product you're looking for. Their product listings usually have quite a few photos, honest customer reviews (some strollers have many, while others have none), an estimated delivery date based on your zip code, item specifications, warranty information (usually 1 year), and details describing the features of the stroller.
Strict return policy
If you need to make a return to Bed Bath & Beyond, your item(s) need to be in new, unused condition. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer in the event that you're returning due to buyer's remorse of any kind. However, the company does say they'll cover the cost of shipping if there is an error or defect with the product (although some customers complain that they don't honor this). For anything you're sending back to the company, you have 30 days to get it shipped off. Through your online account with Bed Bath & Beyond, they provide a link for getting a return shipping label and return instructions.
Red flags
Bed Bath & Beyond has historically held an "A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau. However, this wasn't as important of a factor to us when we realized how poor their customer reviews are. When we normally hope to find thousands of positive customer reviews about a business, it's disappointing to find thousands of poor ones like we did in this case. The main glaring frustration people seem to have with Bed Bath & Beyond is their awful customer service. Many people received poor quality items or things that didn't seem to totally match the product description seen online and were told they needed to pay expensive return shipping fees to reconcile the issue, or were left hanging and unable to have a direct conversation with customer service at all.
Shop elsewhere
Even aside from so many poor experiences we read about people having with Bed Bath & Beyond, their stroller selection is enough of a reason for us to not give them one of our best ratings. You can easily find a much bigger selection of name-brand strollers through another store, and possibly with better pricing. You'll also find that other companies usually offer strollers in multiple colors and with other features that aren't a possibility here. We wouldn't recommend that you turn to Bed Bath & Beyond for your stroller purchase.
On your list of must-haves a mile long for your new baby, finding the right stroller should be right up at the top. Having a mode of transportation that's comfortable and convenient for you and your little(s) is key to confidently staying on-the-go during the day. Whether you're just taking a walk around the park or you're headed off for some long days at Disneyland, having a stroller you love will make all the difference.
Since strollers are such a staple part of parenthood, you'd think it would be a piece of cake selecting one that will check all your boxes. Not the case! Anyone who has jumped online to pick out a stroller has likely ended up completely overwhelmed at all the choices. There are so many pros and cons for each type of stroller, it'll make your head spin.

With accessories for water bottles, car seat adaptors, or even standing boards for a toddler, the options for creating your perfect stroller are endless.
Depending on the brand of stroller you're interested in and the bells and whistles it comes with, you should expect to pay anywhere between a couple hundred dollars and over a thousand for your stroller. It's important to find a retailer that will provide plenty of information about all their options, along with customer reviews to help you make the best buying decision.
Some companies will offer major sales on their baby gear every so often, so this would be a great way to save some money.
