Smaller makeup selection than expected
Even though there are thousands of options for beauty products as a whole at Planet Beauty, we were surprised that their makeup selection alone only hosts over 460 products. Broken down, this only gave us results for a handful of products in categories like BB and CC creams, eye shadow and base primer, eyeliner, and even foundation. Although this is a decent enough selection to find something if you really needed it, we've seen such a bigger variety from other beauty stores. If you have a brand and product you really love, we aren't extremely confident that Planet Beauty will carry it. The hair products and skincare line have a bigger inventory at Planet Beauty, so you'll have the most luck if you're shopping for one of those.
Return items within 30 days
If you need to make a return to Planet Beauty, make sure you do it within 30 days of the purchase date. You'll need your original receipt (which will probably be in an email) and you should expect to have $5.99 deducted from your refund for return shipping. By emailing Planet Beauty's representatives at the provided email or giving them a call, you'll be able to confirm that your purchase qualifies for a return and start the process.
Bad BBB rating, high customer reviews
Planet Beauty's "F” rating from the Better Business Bureau was not thrilling. Luckily their customer reviews are more reassuring. In general, people really do like this company and feel like they are fast, efficient, and high quality. Many customers feel like they're able to get some of the best deals here, it's easy to order, and things arrive without any problems. However, we wish the company would allow reviews on individual products to give shoppers the most helpful buying experience.
