The 24-oz. spray is enough for one bedroom while the gallon covers a small one-bedroom apartment. Gather the recommended supplies, including gloves and protective clothing, a flashlight, a magnifying glass, plastic bags, a vacuum with attachments, a steam cleaner, laundry facilities and bed bug laundry additive, covers for bedding, and spray for killing the bugs. Then you should follow this plan:

1. Prepare your home for bed bug extermination by removing clutter, disassembling furniture, washing and drying all bedding and clothing, steam cleaning mattresses and furniture, encasing mattresses and box springs, and vacuuming the bed frame.
