Lulus has a gorgeous assortment of bridesmaid dresses, all under $200. Sometimes they run sales where you can get a free dress if you're buying multiple gowns in one order. Lulus offers free shipping for orders over $50 and free returns if you ship your items back within 10 days. Their website makes it easy to filter through their options and find something you like. Although the Better Business Bureau gives Lulus an "A" rating, some customer reviews made us nervous about this company's follow-through. There have been instances where people's orders were extremely delayed or never arrived at all, so Lulus earned a slightly lower rating than we would have hoped.

Macy's has been a staple name in the retail clothing world for many Americans. They have hundreds of thousands of products, but a very small selection of bridesmaid dresses. You'll have more luck if you branch out to their formalwear, but you'll still find that unless you shop here during a good sale, Macy's can be quite expensive. They do offer free shipping on orders above $49 and they have a standard 30-day return policy. Although some people have complained recently of issues working with customer service, Macy's is a good option with a solid background in the clothing business: they're not a bad option for bridesmaid dresses, but they aren't our favorite either.

The Dessy Group specializes in wedding and bridesmaid dresses. Their website is well thought out and organized, making it easy to match their options to your wedding color scheme. They have some dresses that are ready to ship within 2-3 business days, while others need to be custom-made and will take at least 9-10 weeks to ship. Most dresses are in the $200 range, so this isn't the cheapest dress store out there. That makes it extra painful that many people report sizing being off and the dresses as poor quality. The Dessy Group has great potential, but isn't one of our favorites in the end.

David's Bridal was once a booming, successful company where nearly 1 in 3 brides bought their wedding gowns. They have locations all throughout the United States and a website with hundreds of options for wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, shoes, gifts, and accessories. After they were bought out in July of 2023, customers started reporting issues with not receiving their orders, poor customer service, refused returns, and other major problems that some claimed ruined their entire wedding. David's Bridal is definitely on the downhill, so we don't recommend shopping here.

BM Bridal initially appears to be a cheap place to get a beautiful, custom bridesmaid dress. They have hundreds of styles and colors, offer a try-before-you-buy perk, and you can get inexpensive swatches to test out different colors. However, BM Bridal's parent company, SuZhou, has an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau. This company also has mixed reviews about how reliable they are and we are worried that the quality is cheaper than you'd want for your big day. This isn't the safest choice for buying bridesmaid dresses online, so BM Bridal has earned a low rating.
Cocomelody has the makings of a beautiful bridesmaid dress store. They have gorgeous designs in a wide range of colors that are sure to fit anyone's style. Their pricing is reasonable and they offer free shipping and frequent sitewide discounts. Unfortunately, Cocomelody has taken a nosedive as far as customer satisfaction goes. The Better Business Bureau is investigating them over a pattern of complaints from people who either don't receive their dresses they ordered or don't receive refunds from orders they've sent back. This seems to be a huge issue, so we've given Cocomelody one of our lowest ratings.
A one-star rating seems too high for a company like Ericdress that pretends to offer good deals on beautiful attire and then never delivers. Besides an extremely unimpressive, messy website, Ericdress does not have a return policy and won't always give full refunds when orders are canceled. All customer reviews report that once they placed an order, they never received any sort of tracking information, the item never arrived, and no refunds were given. Everything we found points to Ericdress as a scam, and should be avoided at all costs.
