Walmart always seems to have a good selection of whatever we're looking for. The bunk beds here come from a variety of brands and sellers, so the return policies range quite a bit and so do shipping prices depending on the bed. Normally Walmart ships orders free over $35 and allows free in-store returns within 30 days, so many of their bunk beds qualify. You won't find really high-quality or modern bunk beds at Walmart, but they have functional options that are all priced really reasonably. Their unfiltered customer reviews serve as a good guide for people looking to make a purchase here and they have an "A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau. For affordable bunk beds, give Walmart a try.
Pottery Barn Kids is known for their beautiful furniture that's fit for a stylish bedroom. They have fun bunk bed options, but only 34 of them. We started losing our excitement once we found that we'd be spending around $2,000 for most beds here and shipping is hundreds of dollars on top of that. They don't give clear warranty information about their beds and their ratings are frighteningly low. The Better Business Bureau gives Pottery Barn Kids an "F” grade, and we wouldn't want to deal with the issues that others have experienced. Pottery Barn Kids is definitely one of our least favorite options for bunk beds.
If you have a couple of kids and are looking to consolidate space, bunk beds are a fantastic way to go. They take up less floor space while still allowing kids to have their own separate beds. Plus, what kid doesn't want to sleep in a bunk bed instead of a regular bed anyway?
Bunk beds are one of the most exciting setups for a kid's bedroom. They're totally fun and unique, so it's a win-win for parents and children. You're totally on the right track. However, shopping for a bunk bed can be a frustrating experience. The selection in traditional stores is very limited. That's one reason why buying bunk beds online has become so popular.
Bunk beds are usually thought of as stacked twin beds, one atop the other. However, there are so many different configurations to accommodate different ages, room sizes, or even the number of sleepers. For older kids, you may consider getting bunk beds with either one or two queen size beds instead of twins.
This way the bed grows with your child by providing extra space and comfort. You could mix and match bed sizes depending on the bed frame, or even get a triple bunk bed for three kids. This is a great option for triplets or just siblings close in age who are excited about sharing a room together.
Regardless of your style and taste, you can find bunk beds that will be a lovely addition to a bedroom. Some are simple and take up a minimal amount of space while providing the basic comforts of a bed for your child. Others come in fun paint colors, have attached desks or bookshelves, or even a slide going down from the top.
Some bunk beds have ladders while others have stairs. You might get bunk beds that also have a trundle in case you have a guest sleeping over and need the extra space. There are a lot of cool features you'll find, so start thinking through all the aspects of bunk beds that will best serve your family.
