Unfortunately, shipping is not free here and depends on product weight, delivery destination, and level of service. Luckily Deluxe offers a satisfaction guarantee that allows customers to send their products back without a time limit. Deluxe will issue a full credit, replacement, or refund for returned items.

Middle of the pack
The Better Business Bureau gives Deluxe Corporation an A+ rating. Their products are high-quality and their inventory is comprehensive. It seems their main downfall is the frustrations that customers encounter when trying to reach customer service representatives. Customers report that sometimes mistakes are made with their orders and it is hard to reach a human to speak to regarding correcting the errors. Others say they have encountered rude customer service employees, making it difficult to work through order details. All in all, despite their high quality product, Deluxe receives a middle-of-the-pack score when shopping online for business checks.
Checks SuperStore has been around since 2001 selling both personal and business checks. Their selection of colors and styles of personal checks is much broader than their business checks selection, but they still have a decent selection including general, desk sets, payroll, and computer checks. Computer checks are compatible with Quicken, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Money.

The selection of manual business checks from Checks SuperStore come in more colors and designs than some of their competitors, which is a refreshing change. Most sets of checks start at $29.50, but the total cost is dependent on the quantity purchased. Ground shipping usually takes 10-12 days for orders to arrive, but customers can pay extra for faster shipping speeds. Actual shipping prices are only available for viewing once customers are checking out and they vary by quantity, product, and shipping speed.
Not a standout
Checks SuperStore is given an A+ by the Better Business Bureau. They have the business checks that most companies would need, but overall, Checks SuperStore does not stand out much from the crowd. We wish they had as many options for business checks as they do for personal checks. They are not a bad option for buying business checks, but we would suggest going with one of our higher-rated retailers for the features and variety you may be looking for.
Tech Checks was founded in 2003 and they provide individuals, financial institutions, and businesses with financial needs like tax forms, checks, and other accessories. Most work is completed in-house, so they are able to ship orders within 48 hours. The cost for shipping is determined by product and weight, but Tech Checks boasts that overall pricing for their products is competitive and affordable.
Basic designs and colors
The inventory of business checks includes computer checks, Quickbook and Quicken checks, and manual checks. The computer checks allow customers to choose which software they use out of over 50 options. The computer checks have five color options. The manual checks, however, have 4-13 styles and colors depending on the exact product chosen. All designs and colors are very basic, similar to what we have seen with Tech Checks' competitors.
Coupon page can save you money
When making any purchases from Tech Checks, we found that the coupon page advertises three deals that could save customers some money. The first is that customers can save $5 using a special discount code when they spend $100 or more. The next two advertised deals don't require a coupon code and simply outline how Tech Checks saves you money if you order Quickbooks-compatible checks or a small business starter kit. It doesn't seem like Tech Checks runs promotions like some of their competitors where you can get free shipping or really good discounts on overall purchases. Pricing for products here seems to be similar to the other business checks online stores we have seen. Customers can expect to spend between $25 and $40 for about 300 computer business checks.
More restrictive return policy
There is a refund policy in place at Tech Checks, but it is not as generous as their competitors. First, the company must be contacted via email with the order number to request product return instructions, and then the products need to be shipped back within 14 days. Items must be in new condition and in the original packaging to qualify for a refund once Tech Checks has received them.
Would like more options
Tech Checks has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. We see that they provide the necessities for customers looking for business checks at prices that won't break the bank. However, we would like to have seen a more exciting website and more check options. Tech Checks is definitely not a bad place to buy business checks, but we don't see any reason that they outshine their competition either.
Checks Unlimited was the first major direct-mail check printer, established in 1986. They have come a long way since being in business. At first they offered 13 check designs, but now offer over 70. Checks Unlimited has over 37 million customers and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB). However, some negative customer feedback does not reflect this high rating from the BBB, and we are concerned with reports of lost checks, poor customer service, and products that lack quality.
Another disappointment with Checks Unlimited we noticed right away is that they need to do some major website updates. Their web design is text-heavy with different sizes of fonts and colors jumping out at you as you browse. It is a little overwhelming to search their inventory online because their information is not as straightforward as some of their competitors.

We recommend checking out the special offers page when ordering from Checks Unlimited. At the time of this review, there was a discount code for free shipping as well as a code for 20% off all checks. Free shipping is not something we see often among business check retailers, so we were happy to find that here. Pricing at Checks Unlimited is comparable to their competitors' pricing, with some products being a little less expensive. For Quickbooks computer checks, Checks Unlimited advertises that you can get 500 for as little as $83.80.
Better options available
As far as pricing and products, Checks Unlimited is not a bad place to shop. However, our main concerns are both the lack of website appeal and usability as well as some criticism they receive from unhappy customers. Many people have reported errors with the checks they have been shipped and say that working with customer service is difficult. This is not a good thing to have to deal with when you're working with personal, financial information. You will want a reliable retailer that helps you through the full ordering process to protect your information. Because of this, we suggest purchasing from a higher-rated business checks site.
