However, here's where things get frustrating. Even in the months elapsed since our last review, the online ordering system for Pemberton Farms' cake subscription is still unreliable. At the time of this review, adding the Coffee Cake Club to the cart simply didn't work (again). And, the solution now is the same: you'll probably need to place your order over the phone. While it's nice to know you'll probably get a friendly, helpful voice at the other end of the line, it's disappointing that the online store hasn't been fixed after all this time. That could also be why there's only one review for the cake club on the product listing, dating all the way back to 2016.
Great cakes, mediocre website
There's no doubt that Pemberton Farms delivers tasty coffee cakes with a personal touch. But, the broken online ordering process is a major inconvenience - especially when other cake clubs make it so easy to subscribe with just a few clicks. If you're willing to go the extra mile and pick up the phone, their Coffee Cake of the Month Club could still be worth it.
