Among the more standard camping fare, you'll find some unique food choices like the Oregon Freeze Dry Mountain House Classic Biscuits & Gravy for $14.99 for 3 servings. To be honest, though, the description kind of turned our stomachs. It says, "What do computers, cars and your mom's permed hair all have in common? They were all much bigger in the 80s,” and follows up with a line about the nostalgia factor of their recipes. We don't want to see "hair” and "food” in the same description, although Bob Ward's can probably get away with it - the people shopping for freeze dried food for a camping trip are probably not the people with delicate appetites who are fussy about presentation. If you want to feel like an astronaut, you can also buy freeze dried ice cream sandwiches here.
