We've all encountered at least one friend or family member for whom it is virtually impossible to buy gifts. No matter what you choose, they already have it, don't like it or don't need it. It can be enough to make you pull your hair out in utter frustration.
Internet shopping allows people to purchase items from the comfort of their homes in the minimal amount of time possible. However, the kinds of things they often end up buying aren't creative or unique, and those who receive the items may not be impressed.
But it's hard to go wrong with print-to-canvas artwork, which can be crafted from literally any quality image. Maybe Uncle Bob - who seems to hate absolutely everything you've ever bought him before - would like a canvas print of his favorite Beagle dog. Does your grandma like receiving photos of her grandchildren? Why not present her with a canvas piece made from one of her favorite photos of her grandchildren? Even the person who lives in a small space and claims they simply do not need more junk will be able to find a place to hang a stylishly-created canvas art piece.
Canvas art also does not always have to be serious. You can have a lot of fun with it, while at the same time, creating the kind of unique gift that the receiver will talk about for years to come.
A perfect example may be to create a photo-to-canvas print as a wedding gift for one of your best friends. Instead of using a photo or digital image which is serious and solemn, why not choose a fun one of the soon-to-be-betrothed couple sticking their tongues out at one another or otherwise acting silly?
The same idea can be accomplished with a traditional family photo. Does your family enjoy goofing around together? Why not snap a photo of a less-than-serious family pose and then have it reproduced into canvas art? Displaying a unique piece that truly reflects the family's personality can be a great conversation piece when displayed in a prominent place.
Photo-to-canvas art that takes old photos and breathes new life into them also can be fun for the recipient. Have a family member or friend with an upcoming birthday? Why not consider having a photo-to-canvas portrait of them made as a unique gift? But instead of making the portrait a reflection of their current appearance, choose a favorite photo of them from their childhood and have it reproduced on canvas.
The very act of creating a canvas art piece can be fun sort of gift for the person doing it as well. Let's face it: we're not all talented artists who are able to paint the kind of pieces our friends and family would want to display in their homes and offices. But we're all pretty good at selecting a photo of an event or place we know is important to that person, and then spending the time to turn it into a wonderful piece of wall art. By choosing canvas art, the person giving the gift is guaranteed to have a great time creatively executing the process from start to finish.
