Bailey's offers an industry-standard return policy with a 30-day money-back guarantee. However, the actual details of the return policy are extremely confusing. In the same paragraph, Bailey's says that it is currently not possible to return opened products. However, it goes on to say that the company adheres to its 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee and is committed to providing a full refund for your order in case of any dissatisfaction. These two statements seem to contradict each other. It may be safer to check with the customer service team before you buy if you're worried about making returns.

Solid third-party reviews

At the time of our review, the page for Bailey's on the Better Business Bureau was unavailable as it was in the process of being updated. However, according to third-party reviews on Trustpilot, Bailey's is a shop to trust. With an average rating of 4.7 stars, Bailey's is praised for always delivering orders on time, and customers have seen visible improvement in their dogs across the board, including anxiety concerns and pain. While there are more reviews recently with complaints, showing that Bailey's may be having some problems, hopefully this is just a few concerned customers and not a problem with the company overall.

Solid option, but needs some updates

Who doesn't want to shop from a pug in sunglasses? We certainly want to trust his happy squishy face. According to reviews, customers feel the same way. The products are effective for a range of puppy problems and the prices are pretty reasonable too. The only downside is that the return policy is pretty unclear whether your dog can try the products before making a return. If not, it sort of defeats the purpose of a "satisfaction guarantee” if you can't return a product after being dissatisfied. For example, one study linked on the site involved collaboration between scientists from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, ElleVet Science, and ProVerde Laboratories. The results revealed heavy metal contamination in 4 out of 29 products, with lead being the most prevalent contaminant, and testing is conducted to make sure the vet-approved CBD choices at ElleVet are safe for your dog to consume.

No discounts on shipping

Customers opting for ElleVet's automatic monthly subscription can enjoy a 25% discount on their initial order and a 15% discount on subsequent orders. However, it appears that ElleVet has dropped its free shipping policy, which is a shame. Due to this, it is less competitive than other retailers in our review.

Lackluster 30-day returns

ElleVet's return policy is an area of concern, as it is not explicitly outlined on the website, with the link provided in the Terms of Service page leading nowhere. There are no questions about transparency at CBD Co. The lab reports show exactly how many cannabinoids are in each product, and rest assured that no extras like THC are in the product when you don't want them to be.

Multiple sales and promos at the same time

There are plenty of sales on individual products at CBD Co. These change from time to time, but at the time of our review, we saw prices up to 45% off individual products. However, if you buy a clearance item, the sale is final, so no returns will be possible in this case. On top of item sales, CBD Co was also running a promotion for buy-one-get-one-free on any order exceeding $99. But, this only applied to some products and none of them were for dogs.

Limited 15-day return policy

On top of sale items being non-returnable, the rest of the return policy at CBD Co is pretty lackluster. To initiate a return, you need to make your request within 15 days of your purchase date. This is a much smaller window than those found at competing sites. For your item to be eligible, it must also be unused, unopened, and in the same condition as when you received it, including the original packaging. So, your dog can't try any products if you want to return the item.

Mid-tier reviews and low customer engagement

While CBD Co has an "A” rating from the Better Business Bureau, it isn't the most popular with reviewers. On the BBB page, CBD Co only has a 3 out of 5 star rating, and on Trustpilot that rating goes down to just 2 stars out of 5. There also aren't more than a handful of reviews out there for CBD Co, so it might not be the best place to put your money despite the "A” rating.

To qualify for a return, your item must be in its original packaging, and all refunds and exchanges are subject to review. However, the site doesn't state if you're allowed to try dog CBD products or not, so you may need to reach out to customer service to clarify. Unfortunately, you are responsible for covering the shipping costs for returning the item and you won't know if your return is accepted until the company has your item. This means you could pay to return the item and still have a chance of your return being denied. Yikes!

"D” is a failing grade

While JustCBD has a fairly good rating on average from third-party review sites like Trustpilot (with a 4.5-star average), the company's Better Business Bureau page tells a different story. According to the BBB, JustCBD has a concerning "D” rating. On average, customers who complained about the company noted issues with shipping and orders never arriving or arriving very late.
