Almost 2000 5-star reviews

There's a good chance you won't need to use that satisfaction guarantee, if customer reviews are any indicator. At the time of this evaluation, there were nearly 2000 product reviews on Upstate's site and it was hard to find anything besides perfect 5-star ratings. Aches and pains, anxiety, and even pet stress have all seen big-time improvement while being treated with CBD products sold by Upstate.

Top-notch CBD production

So many ways to get your CBD

You'll get way more than CBD oil when shopping at Verma Farms. If you prefer gummies, capsules, topicals and creams or even dried fruit infused with CBD, there's no shortage of options. One of their most popular products is their Mint CBD Oil, which comes in both 500mg and 1000mg strengths. You'll pay $59.99 or $109.99, respectively: definitely an attractive price point in the industry. If you choose to set your purchase up as a recurring subscription, you can save 25%

30-day returns on unopened products only

Verma Farms lets you return purchases within 30 days, but they have to be unopened. That's not quite as good as some of their rivals, who let you get a refund if you try a CBD product and don't get the results you were hoping for.

Too many out of stock items

Another small downside to getting your CBD from Verma Farms is that they tend to be out of stock more often than other stores. At the time of our most recent visit, at least 6 products were unavailable and not expected to be restocked for 2-4 weeks. That's not good news if you rely on one of their oils or gummies to keep you steady from day to day and have to stop taking it for up to a month!

Great feedback from customers

On the plus side, this store gets plenty of positive feedback from its customers. Just look at the reviews on the individual CBD products and see for yourself. For example, their CBD Gummies Starter Pack with Maui Melon, Blueberry Wave and Peachy Pau Hana flavors (priced at $149.99) had over 100 reviews and an almost 5-star average - ditto that rating and number of reviews for many of their popular CBD oils as well.

Lab reports readily available

You can also easily see third-party lab analysis for every product Verma Farms offers: just scroll down on the page and click the link. You'll see exactly when it was tested, the percentage of CBD, a pesticide/solvent analysis, and testing for microbes and heavy metals. We always love it when a CBD company offers full transparency, and this one definitely does.

Good but not quite amazing yet

Verma Farms is a good place to buy CBD products in many different formats, and their customers give the company plenty of compliments across the board. What stops this store from being great, though, is their less-than-generous return policy and the fact that items seem to be out of stock on a regular basis. We hope to see some changes in both of those areas in the future, because that would help Verma Farms rank even higher among retailers of CBD supplements.

Start slowly with these potent oils

Seabedee's oils are priced on par with other retailers we evaluated. For example, you can get their Full Spectrum CBD Oils in concentrations of 1500mg and 3000mg, both in flavor options of peppermint or vanilla, for $115 and $185, respectively. Because these oils are "loaded with therapeutic phytocannabinoids" , the company recommends starting your dosage at just one-fourth of a dropper for the first week and then increasing by another fourth on weeks 2, 3 and 4 if you feel you need more.

Vida Optima has a nice assortment of CBD delivery mechanisms, from traditional tinctures and gummies to softgels, edibles and even vapes. You'll find more options in the tinctures here than you might see elsewhere: not just oil but oil-plus-vitamins, oil for mood or sleep, and several different concentration strengths to get your dosage just right. Vida Optima also seems to keep their prices a little lower than other stores'. Even their highest-concentration CBD oil (3000mg) is just $89.95; you'll often spend twice that much elsewhere.

Need a little lift?

One type of product sold here that we didn't see with many other CBD retailers is Delta-8 THC. If you're not familiar with it, we strongly recommend you read up on it through the information pages on the Vida Optima site - because it can produce an "elevation" effect (*cough cough*). Keep that in mind as you browse the store looking for products: you don't want to confuse the THC products with traditional CBD and wind up with a very different result than you were anticipating!

Look for discounts

Watch for extra savings. On our first visit to the Vida Optima website, we got a pop-up offering a 10% discount if we provided our email address. You can also get free shipping if your order is over $75.

Rewards program

Another perk offered here that you might not spot at other stores offering CBD products is Vida Optima's complimentary rewards program. You'll have to create an account, but once you do you'll be earning points for every purchase, interactions on the company's social media channels, or even for your birthday! Points can be redeemed for free shipping (100 points) or for discounts from $10 to $100 (200-2,000 points).

Mediocre return policy

Vida Optima's return policy is fairly standard: 30 days on unopened products. They could get a higher rating from us if they allowed for refunds on CBD products that customers have tried; there are several rival retailers that do just that, leaving Vida Optima a little in the dust.

Effective CBD products

Overall, though, this retailer's customers are happy with the CBD products sold here. You can see specific reviews for any supplement you're considering, and you'll find that 95% of them are 5 stars. When shopping for CBD from Juna, you'll find the products organized by what you're trying to accomplish: there are solutions for stress, sleep, relaxation, pain relief/PMS, and mood balance. All CBD products here are either drops or body oil: there are no gummies or other edibles, lotions or capsules for sale. That makes your shopping easy, if somewhat limited.

Different CBD concentrations available

CBD concentrations range from 300mg (Balance Drops) to 1500 mg (Balance X Drops). Each oil comes with a detailed description of ingredients: no surprises here. For example, the 300mg Balance Drops are a full-spectrum hemp oil blend, so you'll get CBD, CBC and CBG, along with MCT coconut oil and seven terpenes. Juna also tells you the "tasting notes" (Balance's are light, herbal, floral-botanical) and the origin/vintage (organic from Kentucky for Balance).

A little more expensive than some

You'll want that discount because Juna's CBD products are a little on the high end price-wise. Their lowest-concentration of drops, the Balance 300mg, costs $58; on the other end of the spectrum, you'll pay $148 for the 30 mL Balance X 1500mg bottle.

Full refund available after 30 days + consultation

Juna's return policy is excellent, but it's a little different from most CBD retailers'. They want you to get the best possible results, so you'll have to try your Juna product for 30 days of cumulative use. Plus, you'll need to schedule a 1:1 consultation with one of their experts, to get any suggestions for how to experience the maximum benefit. Once both of those requirements are met, you can request a full refund.

Limited but positive customer feedback

Customer feedback on Juna's CBD products is a little light: most items only have a couple dozen ratings from shoppers, if that. Fortunately, those reviews are almost always 4 or 5 stars. People describe improved sleep and anxiety, even within just a week of use.

Room to grow

Juna gets a higher-than-average ranking because of their helpful return policy: they really want you to get the CBD that works for you, and they're willing to take on some of the financial risk to make that happen. But, with a somewhat limited customer base compared with other retailers of CBD products and not as many formats to choose from (like gummies or capsules), Juna doesn't reach our highest ranking yet.

Terra Vita knows that there's no "one size fits all" CBD regimen. Their 50+ product combinations allow you to get the ideal taste, dose, and form factor for your unique needs.

Mostly CBD oil and capsules here

Terra Vita's most popular product by far is their Relax CBD Oil. Sold in concentrations ranging from 500mg to 4000mg (and priced from $75.99 to $249.99, respectively), it is a full-spectrum CBD combined with ashwagandha, linalool and limonene. Out of almost 625 customer reviews, over 600 gave this oil a flawless 5-star rating. Many of those said they have their deliveries set as a subscription so that they'll never run out of it (and, by the way, subscribing saves you a whopping 45% on your purchase!). Other options for CBD products include capsules, beauty products like lip balm, and body products such as bath salts or salves. Missing from the list at Terra Vita: gummies and other edibles.

Get a discount - or not

Like many retailers of CBD products, Terra Vita wants you to subscribe to their email list. But, instead of just giving you a nice little discount for telling them your email address, they make you spin the wheel and see what you get. It might be a discount (we got 30% off, but it had to be used within 24 hours), or a free product, or... nothing.

No recommendations without your email

We felt the same way about their CBD quiz. Like a lot of CBD stores, you answer a few questions about yourself: your age, your goals for taking CBD and so on. But, instead of jumping right to your recommendations, you have to enter your email address and then you can see them (and get a 30% discount too). Could we please just be a little more direct?

Decent promos and bundle discounts

But, we also spotted a promotional discount at the bottom of the page, offering savings of 30% on orders of $100+, 35% on $200+, and 40% on $300+. That's a pretty big deal, so we encourage you to keep an eye out for any promos that might be in effect when you're ready to make a purchase from Terra Vita. Finally, you can get discounts for buying product bundles - either one of Terra Vita's premade ones (e.g. Ayurveda, Sleep Better, Post Exercise) or by building your own of three or more items. That will save you 40% too.

Just an average CBD product retailer

Are the CBD products sold by Terra Vita effective? Loyal customers would certainly say so. Are there ways to save a lot of money? Absolutely. But, is there anything so over-the-top amazing here that would put this retailer ahead of the crowd? Not really. And, given that Terra Vita's 30-day return policy is only valid for unopened products, you may be able to get equally high-quality CBD supplements elsewhere that are more risk-free in the end.

One thing we really appreciate about Equilibria is that they provide personal consultations at no charge. Whether you take advantage of these via phone or over email, you'll be connected with a dosage specialist who can help you get the most out of the CBD product(s) you choose. Some of the most commonly-asked questions are "Will these products get me high?" and "When will I feel the full effects?" You can get those answers right on the Equilibria website, of course, but don't hesitate to connect with their specialists if you have questions of your own.

Zero returns here

Unfortunately, Equilibria doesn't have a return or refund policy. At all. If you try one of their CBD protocols and don't see any benefits, you're out of luck. Their policy states that you can reach out to member support for assistance "in the rare occurrence of a negative reaction" , but even that doesn't say you'll get any money back. That alone puts this CBD product retailer much further down in our rankings, compared with other stores that give you a no-questions-asked 30-day (or longer!) refund policy.

Limited customer reviews

It's also hard to find customer feedback about Equilibria's CBD products. While each one we looked at had three customer stories at the bottom of the product page, there were no ratings or reviews beyond that. We also had trouble finding a company listing with the Better Business Bureau or any of the third-party sites that independently verify customer purchases.

Better options out there

There's a lot to love about the way Equilibria approaches CBD products for women, especially their free consultations to get the right protocol for each individual. But, by definition, that limits their customer base by half: if you're a man, you'll probably be shopping somewhere else for your CBD (even though there's no reason you can't use what's sold here). And, with zero refund policy, Equilibria comes up short with respect to the competition.

Lab to Beauty

If you're looking for anti-aging skin care, lotion to soothe inflammation, or just a killer shampoo/conditioner combo that will leave your hair smelling salon-fresh on the regular, you'll find those in Lab to Beauty's store. If you read "spa" and "salon" and thought "expensive" , you're not wrong. Just don't expect that the CBD and CBG in those products will have benefits for your mood, anxiety, or pain management. You'll have to shop under the Wellness tab to find the drops and gummies they sell for those needs.

Not a lot of information provided

Lab to Beauty's drops and gummies are clearly not their priority. Not only are they much more expensive than the competition ($50 for a 1-oz bottle of drops, for example), but there's remarkably little information about them. How much CBD is there in the bottle? How concentrated is it? This is one of the few companies that doesn't tell you - and that doesn't make lab testing reports readily available either.

Better-than-expected refund policy

But, Lab to Beauty has a solid return policy. If your CBD products don't meet your expectations, you can return them in "unused or gently used" condition within 30 days for a full refund. We take this to mean that you can return it if you've tried it for a little while, not the entire bottle/package/etc.

That's reassuring, because the products sold here don't have many shopper reviews. Some have no comments at all, while others maybe have 10-20. These definitely are not the most frequently-bought CBD items on the market!

Try it for a CBD beauty routine, but not much else

We're all for treating ourselves to some luxury at home, and using CBD and CBG as part of a healthy skin/hair/body routine is an intriguing possibility. This may be the only place you'll find beauty products with those hemp derivatives. On the other hand, for those who want the benefits that come from taking CBD internally, the options here are limited - both in what you can buy and in the information that is (or isn't) provided about them. Until Lab to Beauty gets more customer feedback and offers more details about their products, they're going to have a hard time measuring up against the higher-rated stores in our review.
