Equilibria bills itself as the company offering "premium CBD for the modern woman" . Created by two professionals who personally understand the challenges women face in balancing work, family, and self-care, Equilibria strives to deliver quality CBD products specific to their needs.
Good selection of CBD products
What kinds of CBD products can you get through Equilibria? You'll find a wide variety of delivery mechanisms, from daily drops in unflavored and flavored varieties to softgels, and from topical balms and oils to bath products as well. Prices here are comparable with other CBD retailers: for example, you'll pay $58 for a 30mL/300mg bottle of Daily Drops or a 30-count container of Pineapple Dragonfruit gummies
Take Equilibria's quiz for tailored-to-you suggestions
Which Equilibria CBD products are right for you? We recommend starting by taking the Equilibria quiz; you'll find the link at the top of the site. You'll be asked why you're visiting the site (e.g. specific health goal, general wellness, or just curious), how much experience you have with CBD products, your age range, if you follow a vegan lifestyle, and what troubles you may be experiencing. From there, you'll get a customized recommendation for a daily routine or an as-needed CBD solution.
Several ways to save
That recommendation may come with some savings. Ours had a "bundling discount" of 20% on a one-time purchase, and that discount could be extended to future purchases if we made our order a recurring subscription. Also, Equilibria doesn't make you sign up for an email newsletter to get a first-time customer discount. Instead, just use the code HELLO15 and your first purchase will qualify for free shipping and a 15% savings.
Free help from a Dosage Specialist
One thing we really appreciate about Equilibria is that they provide personal consultations at no charge. Whether you take advantage of these via phone or over email, you'll be connected with a dosage specialist who can help you get the most out of the CBD product(s) you choose. Some of the most commonly-asked questions are "Will these products get me high?" and "When will I feel the full effects?" You can get those answers right on the Equilibria website, of course, but don't hesitate to connect with their specialists if you have questions of your own.
Zero returns here
Unfortunately, Equilibria doesn't have a return or refund policy. At all. If you try one of their CBD protocols and don't see any benefits, you're out of luck. Their policy states that you can reach out to member support for assistance "in the rare occurrence of a negative reaction" , but even that doesn't say you'll get any money back. That alone puts this CBD product retailer much further down in our rankings, compared with other stores that give you a no-questions-asked 30-day (or longer!) refund policy.
Limited customer reviews
It's also hard to find customer feedback about Equilibria's CBD products. While each one we looked at had three customer stories at the bottom of the product page, there were no ratings or reviews beyond that. We also had trouble finding a company listing with the Better Business Bureau or any of the third-party sites that independently verify customer purchases.
Better options out there
There's a lot to love about the way Equilibria approaches CBD products for women, especially their free consultations to get the right protocol for each individual. But, by definition, that limits their customer base by half: if you're a man, you'll probably be shopping somewhere else for your CBD (even though there's no reason you can't use what's sold here). And, with zero refund policy, Equilibria comes up short with respect to the competition.
Ever since hemp was removed from being considered a controlled substance (courtesy of the 2018 Farm Bill), interest in CBD products has grown exponentially. Why? There's plenty of evidence to suggest that CBD can help people manage anxiety, alleviate pain, and many other benefits - all without the "high" associated with marijuana use.
Wait, what? I can use CBD without psychoactive effects? Legally? Those are some of the first questions people have before trying CBD-infused gummies or adding a few drops of tincture to their morning coffee. First, yes: CBD products are required to have less than 0.3% THC in order to be legal - and THC is the component of the plant extract that gives you that certain...lift.
However, if you've been enduring chronic pain and CBD helps you move freely, or the anxiety that has pinned you down disappears after taking CBD products regularly, why wouldn't you feel a lot lighter and in an elevated mood?
That being said, CBD products aren't 100% unrestricted in all 50 states. About a third of them have strong regulations still in place: you may need to be registered as a medical marijuana patient to take them without running the risk of being charged with possession. Before stocking up on CBD edibles and lotions, you'll want to be well-versed in the laws where you live.
If you've started looking around for a place to buy CBD products online, you've already seen that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of retailers that are very eager to get your business. It can be daunting trying to figure out which one is the best! Want some help? Here are a few helpful guidelines you can use to cut to the chase and get your CBD from a trustworthy source:
