Gabriel & Co. is a company that's dedicated to creating exceptional jewelry with a passion for combining precious metals and stones. Founded by two brothers who learned from their father, Elias Gabriel, the company has been crafting high-quality pieces since 1989. With a talented team, Gabriel & Co. offers a curated selection of designer charm bracelets that blend elegance, sentiment, and style. These charm bracelets for women are more than just jewelry; they're a symbol of craftsmanship and dedication to quality. Over the past 30 years, Gabriel & Co. has built a reputation as passionate, dependable, and artistic designers and manufacturers, offering an extensive line of timeless pieces that range from classic to fashion-forward designs.
Simple browsing but no charms
With a range of impressive jewelry items that include engagement and wedding rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and more, Gabriel & Co. has an impressively simple browsing experience. If you search under fine jewelry, you'll find the "Charm Bracelets” section of the online shop, making it simple to narrow down to what you want to shop for right away. You'll also find a range of filters to help including metal, price, birthstone, design element, and more. However, finding the charms is more difficult. Most of the charm bracelets from Gabriel & Co. come with charms already on them. If you want to add more charms, you have to look under "pendants”, which may not be the most intuitive as those are usually for necklaces. However, there are no other charms available anywhere else on the website.
Somewhat small selection
Gabriel & Co. has a somewhat smaller selection of charm bracelets than some of its competitors. On top of it being somewhat difficult to find the charms, the bracelets include just 21 styles with chains and bangles as the only two options. All of the bracelets come with one charm already on them. As for the charms or "pendants” on Gabriel & Co., there are 161 charms, but some are clearly meant for necklaces, so you may need to double-check the sizing before you try to fit them on a charm bracelet.
Prices from $100 for bracelets
We completed our usual price comparison at Gabriel & Co.; however, there was one snag with our normal price research. Since there were no charms listed as charms, the pricing includes all pendants on the Gabriel & Co. site. So, as a disclaimer this may include those that are only suitable for wear on a necklace, and the actual charm price range may be smaller:
Returns within 30 days
At Gabriel & Co., you can return or exchange items within 30 days of purchase if you're not satisfied. To initiate the process, contact the company's Customer Service Department via email, live chat, or phone to obtain a return authorization number. Used merchandise will only be accepted for refund or exchange if it's defective. So, you'll want to make sure you return your item in perfect condition in the original packaging for it to be accepted.
No buzz for Gabriel & Co.
Most of the feedback for Gabriel & Co. is from fashion bloggers rather than totally unbiased third-party review sites. While Gabriel & Co. does have a page on the Better Business Bureau, it doesn't tell us much with an "NR” rating as the only detail. While there were a few reviews on Yelp, these were actually for a different jeweler by the same name. Frustratingly, there aren't any clear details about Gabriel & Co.'s reputation. The only thing we could find was Glassdoor ratings, but those just tell you how it is to work for the company. While these were pretty positive, they didn't tell us much about the buying experience.
Needs more buzz to be sure
Given the relatively small inventory at Gabriel & Co. as well as the difficulty finding any charms for the bracelets, it doesn't rank terribly high in our books. Combining those frustrations with the lack of custom reviews and feedback, Gabriel & Co. sits just around the middle of the pack. The quality looks nice, but we're unsure if the high-priced bracelets are worth the cost given how little we know about the company as a whole. For now, we award Gabriel a cautious rating with the hopes that it will improve its online presence in the future.
When commemorating a special occasion or keeping treasured memories close at hand, charm bracelets are a fun and beautiful way to keep those memories with you at all times. Not only do charm bracelets make for a thoughtful and personalized gift, but they also serve as a beautiful piece of jewelry that can be worn and cherished for years. From elegant adornments in 14k gold to cute costume jewelry with dangly trinkets, there's a charm bracelet to suit every style and budget.
Modern charm bracelets are designed to be easily customized by adding or removing charms, allowing wearers to express their personality and style. These charms have become popular among young celebrities, who often use them to promote causes, convey sentiment, and add a touch of fun to their outfits.
It's interesting to explore the origins of charm bracelets, which date back to ancient civilizations where they served as a form of identification and protection. The earliest people to wear charm bracelets were the Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, and Hittites. Charm bracelets gained immense popularity in the 1950s and 1960s, often given as gifts on special occasions like 16th or 18th birthdays, weddings, or engagements.
Many types of bracelets qualify as charm bracelets. All you need is to put a single charm on them. Some of the popular types of charm bracelets include bangles, characterized by a solid design with an opening on one side. Snake chains, on the other hand, offer a more flexible option, with beads that slide on and off the chain easily. Another popular type of bracelet is the chain bracelet, which typically features charms that attach with a jump ring or clasp. This design is perfect for those who prefer a more traditional look and want to be able to easily add or remove charms as desired.
And don't even get us started on charms. Clip-on charms, slide-on charms, glass beads, or gold-stamped dangles: there's so much to choose from. Basically, if you can imagine it, someone is probably selling a charm for it. And the best part? Depending on where you buy, you have the opportunity to mix and match your charms. You can get them anywhere. You can find classic graduation years, travel mementos like miniature Eiffel Towers and palm trees, and even charms that fit your favorite hobbies or films. Whatever your style, there's a charm bracelet waiting for you. So why not start designing your own unique piece today?
