A solid choice

Café Britt offers a solid range of Costa Rican coffees, though not as many options as some competitors. While you have to order at least three bags and pay for shipping on smaller orders, the coffee quality, occasional freebies, satisfaction guarantee, and rewards program make it worth it for regular drinkers. Their eco-friendly practices are a big plus, too. In our view, Café Britt is the best coffee club for anyone wanting to experience Costa Rica's coffee culture without leaving home.

Predatory email practices

One last thing to note: while we were reviewing Café Britt, we got a promotional email from them. No big deal, right? Except we never gave them our email address. Somehow, they knew our first and last name (which weren't linked to the Google account we were browsing with) and our email. We found this pretty creepy, and honestly, it made us think twice about choosing them over their competitors and landed Café Britt a little lower on our list than we had originally intended.
