Finding a new, exciting gift year after year for a friend, family member or business contact can be a challenge. A great new idea that has been gaining in popularity the last few years is a dessert club membership.
In a dessert club, delicious desserts are sent monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly, depending on the flexibility of the club and the customer's preference. Dessert selections are either predetermined by the company, selected by the gift recipient, or can arrive as a complete surprise. For dessert lovers, especially those hard to buy for, receiving a new dessert every few weeks can be a delightful experience.

Amazing Clubs delivers the best dessert club in our review. With their combination of affordability, quality, and customer service, they lead the pack of dessert of the month clubs. Their club is easy to pay for, with delicious selections that should easily please anyone on your gift-giving list.
David's Cookies provides more than just cookies for those looking to give a unique gift. Their program provides a one or two dessert per month offering for 1 to 12 months - your choice. The intended desserts are listed in advance letting you know what can be anticipated. Unfortunately, you must pay for the entire program up front.
For over a century, Wolferman's has been known for mouth-watering baked goods. With a good quality Dessert Club, you'll be able to enjoy delicious baked goods every month of the year. Wolferman's prices are competitive, but be aware that the monthly delivery cost is not included in the subscription.
Cheryl's Cookies has been delivering sweet treats for many years. Aside from cookies, their main Dessert Club consists of brownies in a wide range of flavors, with subscriptions lasting for 6 or 12 months. Cheryl's is spendier than many Dessert Clubs, however, with a $6.99 delivery charge on each shipment.
If you've ever received a gift delivery of chocolate-covered strawberries, we'd bet they came from Shari's Berries. The company is part of the 1-800-Flowers group, giving you a range of add-on options for your gift-giving needs. Their Strawberry Gift Club includes a year of quarterly deliveries, with 12 dipped-and-decorated berries in each box. Each shipment is protected by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. But, when it comes to options and flexibility, this dessert club doesn't quite compare with most of the subscriptions in our review.
Harry & David enjoys a good reputation in the gift-giving industry, and their customers can rest assured that the company stands behind their Dessert of the Month Club. Most shoppers will appreciate knowing exactly what to expect with each month's shipments. Prices are higher than the competition, however, and at least one customer said the desserts included failed to impress with respect to quality.
However, not all dessert clubs are alike and it's important to understand the policies before you sign up. Important aspects of a dessert club membership to be aware of are:
