Where is the best place to find drug tests?  People turn to drug tests for all kinds of reasons. Parents might use them to confirm suspicions or open up a conversation about substance use. Employers might test before hiring or after an incident on the job. Individuals who use recreational drugs might want to know how long a substance stays in their system - especially if they've got a drug test coming up and are considering whether to risk it or call in "sick." And then there are those in recovery or working through a treatment program who use testing as a way to stay accountable.
myLAB Box makes it easy to take control of your health from home, offering a wide range of discreet, lab-certified testing kits for everything from STDs to general wellness. Every test is processed by a certified laboratory, and if you receive a positive result, you'll get a free telemedicine consultation with a physician to help you understand your options and next steps.
3 multi-panel drug tests - when in stock
Looking specifically at the drug testing offered by myLAB Box, you've got three options:
All of the kits are urine-based, which makes for easy drug testing. But, at the time of our evaluation, not a single one was actually available for purchase from myLAB Box. There was no indication of when the supply would be restocked, making this a not-great choice if you need a drug test or you're looking for a place to reorder tests regularly.
Several options for spending less on your order
While there are a couple of ways to save money on your drug test at myLAB Box (if and when they're ever back in stock), we're not the biggest fans of how those savings are delivered. The first is fairly innocuous: sign up for their emails and you'll save 15% on your order. Next, if you spend at least $150, you'll get free shipping (which is a pretty high threshold, in our opinion). However, our least favorite savings method at myLAB Box is the pop-up offering 15% off "just for today" with a 10-minute counter ticking off the time until it expires. That kind of false urgency never sits right with us; what's the rush?
Reputation isn't even close to good
We're thinking that the hurry is so that you don't look too far into myLAB Box before you make your purchase. Why? For starters, the company has an "F" from the Better Business Bureau for failing to respond to 3 complaints, and for having received a total of 55 negative reports. We spotted lots of rants on the BBB regarding problems with kit delivery, with processing refunds for tests that were never delivered, and with a lot of back-and-forth between myLAB Box reps and consumers (which indicates that the company isn't exactly in a hurry to make things right).
It's the same everywhere
It's roughly the same sentiment over on Trustpilot, where myLAB Box earned a disappointing 2.5-star average across nearly 400 ratings. Those reviews lead us to believe that you'll either love it (if the positive reviews can be believed) or hate it (which is more likely) if you buy a drug test from this provider. It's not a good sign when rant after rant uses the word "scam" to describe the overall experience here. We will point out that most of the complaints aren't related specifically to drug tests, but we don't think that the kind of test you buy will make you immune to the delivery, processing, and refund woes that are so often reported by myLAB Box customers.
Choose any other drug test provider over this one
By now, it should be absolutely clear why myLAB Box is at the bottom of our list of drug test suppliers. Not only do they seem to have supply issues - with not a single test kit in stock at the time of our most recent visit - but their reputation is also a huge reason for avoiding placing an order. Lucky for you, there are plenty of reliable, well-stocked drug test companies on our list, so don't waste any time considering myLAB Box.
Continued from above...
People turn to drug tests for all kinds of reasons. Parents might use them to confirm suspicions or open up a conversation about substance use. Whatever the reason, testing is no longer just for professionals. Whether you're a parent worried about your teen, an employee bracing for a workplace screening, or just someone who wants to be fully informed about what's in your system, drug testing kits are easier to access than ever. Once limited to clinics and labs, drug testing is now something you can even do at home, with surprisingly accurate results - sometimes in just a few minutes.
As for what's being tested, it really depends. The most common drug screens are for THC (cannabis), cocaine, amphetamines, opioids, and benzodiazepines, though some kits cover 10-14 different substances or more.
When it comes to the type of test, you've got options. Urine tests are the most common. They're fast, non-invasive, and pretty good at catching drug use within the past few days. Saliva tests offer a shorter detection window but are great for catching very recent use - usually within the last 24 hours. Hair follicle tests go way back, detecting drug use from up to 90 days ago, but they typically cost more and are often done in lab settings. And, of course, blood tests are the most accurate but also the most invasive and expensive, usually reserved for clinical or legal situations (and not as commonly available to the public).
At-home test kits have become especially popular because of their privacy, convenience, and affordability. Some even include lab confirmation, meaning you collect the sample at home and mail it in for professional analysis. That said, not all kits are created equal. Accuracy, ease of use, and how results are reported can vary widely. Some come with a consultation with a medical professional, for example, while others are basic dip strips that change color and it's up to you to interpret them correctly.
If you're shopping for a drug test - whether for peace of mind, accountability, or necessity - here are a few things to consider when deciding which one is right for you:
