It's no secret that e-cigarettes have virtually exploded in popularity over the past decade - and it's easy to see why. Originally just a high-tech alternative to traditional smoking, people are attracted to e-cigarettes for a variety of reasons, including the diverse range of appealing flavors, the ability to customize the experience, and the convenience that e-cigarettes offer.
To start off, the availability of a wide array of flavors, such as fruity, dessert, and beverage-inspired options, adds an element of novelty and excitement to e-cigarettes. This variety of flavors can make using e-cigarettes more enjoyable and engaging for individuals who appreciate different tastes.

With a respectable range of deals and good quality products, Vapeshack is in the business of selling good merchandise with some solid guarantees. In addition, their 30-day refund policy and free shipping on orders of over $99 do well to increase their overall score. More importantly, somehow - in spite of shipping difficulties following changing postal regulations - Vapeshack has still managed to maintain their "A+” rating with the BBB. When almost all other companies shipping e-cigarettes were getting roasted with complaints, it's something that a miracle Vapeshack managed their service relatively uninterrupted. In short, Vapeshack is all-in-all the #1 e-cigarette store due to their customer-friendly policies, overall selection, and the fact that they have no customer complaints with the BBB.
VaporDNA offers some good products with an easy to navigate website, some respectable rewards programs, and a good range of the best disposable e-cigarettes and pen & box kits around, in addition to a generous 45 day refund policy. While there are slightly better prices on disposables offered on competing websites, and no common head-shop dry herb and delta-9 products on offer, VaporDNA's mix of generous policy and good products have earned them a high score from us. Just be aware that, like many e-cigarette stores, this one also was impacted by the 2021 vaporizer shipment regulations, which slightly lowered their rating here.
Smokers World appears to offer a good deal on disposable e-cigarettes with their "bulk” buying options - however, sometimes their bulk options aren't actually a better deal than the going market rate. While they do offer a wide selection of good products, and a 20% discount with your first purchase, Smokers World's less than generous refund and shipping policies and misleading bulk "deals” have earned them a middling rating on our list, even as their overall products and business seem solid.
Vapingland is an aggravating website to visit. While their selection is quite good, and they do offer a rewards and referral program and free shipping on orders of over $49, using the website is such a mind-numbing experience that we wouldn't wish it on our worst enemy. With pop-ups complete with a notification bar, unblockable 10-second updating notifications on what others bought, randomly vibrating buttons, it's just not worth it. Unless this sounds entertaining to you, you might want to avoid Vapingland and use a higher-rated company on our list.
With a range of daily deals and clearance items, Eightvape is - on the surface - an excellent e-cigarette store. However, negative customer reviews and an "F” rating with the Better Business Bureau reveal some very poor practices. Customer reviews with the Better Business Bureau have complained of misleading shipping charges, plus multiple lost and undelivered packages. While they offer a good price on disposable e-cigarettes and some high quality hardware, it is likely best to avoid buying eCigarettes online with Eightvape.
While South Beach Smoke has been a reliable online e-cigarette vendor for many years, the products offered by this legacy e-Cigarette provider quite honestly pales in comparison to modern hardware. Customer reviews of South Beach Smoke are difficult to find, usually at least nine years old, and report an unpleasant and scratchy flavor from South Beach Smoke's cartridges. While you might want to seek out South Beach Smoke if you need a product that imitates the look of a cigarette, all-in-all you'll get a better value, and much more flexibility in the liquids/flavors/concentrates you smoke, if you buy a similarly priced modern pen or box-kit elsewhere. In short, we recommend a product that offers more flexibility and value than what's offered by South Beach Smoke.
The Kind Pen makes many claims to quality; however, these claims hide the fact that they are in the business of rebranding and reselling cheap wholesale e-cigarettes, and do not appear to design or build anything themselves. With a huge discrepancy between their high rating on suspicious third-party review services and their "F” reputation with the Better Business Bureau (and e-cigarette-enthusiast communities more generally), we recommend looking elsewhere for high-quality e-cigarettes. Shop at The Kind Pen only if you are looking for a cheap e-cigarette and are willing to go through their lifetime returns process if there's a problem.
In the e-cigarette business since 2006, SmokeTip's products are a relic of a time when e-cigarettes attempted to imitate the look and feel of a cigarette. As they have done little to update their product since then, and their e-cigarettes are outclassed by more modern, similarly priced and technologically superior disposables, pens, and box kits, there is little to recommend from SmokeTip, other than the bare fact that their website works and you can buy their sub-par product there.
First things first: Vapor FI's irresponsible practices led to the theft of multiple customers' credit card information. Now the company is owned by the giant tobacco conglomerate Turning Point Brands, and they are infamous for their horrendous shipping times, terrible return policies, and nonexistent customer service. Do yourself a favor: don't wait an entire month for your order, don't support a gigantic corporation when there are better options out there, and avoid Vapor FI by choosing among the better-rated e-cigarette stores on our list.
First off, you can't buy Smoke Stik anymore; they seem to have just... run out of them and stopped production. At one point a leader in the e-cigarette industry (with celebrity endorsements from Pitbull, of all people), Smoke Stik has fallen behind their competitors. With a website that seems stuck in 2008, and no sign of restarting production, we think that - in spite of their better warranty and return policies when compared to competitors - unless you really want 2010's era e-cigarette technology, then you would be better contacting other online stores that... you know, still sell goods and services.
Customization is another key aspect that attracts people to e-cigarettes. Many devices allow users to adjust nicotine levels, vapor production, and other settings to match their preferences. Controlling these levels empowers individuals to tailor the e-cigarette to their liking. This can greatly enhance their enjoyment and satisfaction.
The convenience factor also plays a significant role. E-cigarettes do not produce the same amount of smoke or ash as traditional cigarettes, which makes them more practical for use in settings where smoking is prohibited. They also don't require a flame or cause a burning risk. This convenience factor can make e-cigarettes more appealing to those who seek a more discreet and hassle-free option to traditional smoking.
Navigating e-cigarettes online can be a chore, and - let's face it - that gas station that smells like incense with all the disposable vapes is likely overcharging you, and the costs can add up. As such, finding a reputable online dealer can go a long way towards saving you a bit of pocket change and unnecessary trips to the corner store or smoke shop.
Keep in mind, though you likely already know this - e-cigarettes can develop into an addictive habit. While it may have the potential for less harm than traditional cigarette smoking, it is still costly and can be difficult to stop. However, most e-cigarette companies do sell 0% and low-percentage nicotine cartridges, which can be a big help for those looking to quit or reduce their consumption overall.
While there are legitimate health concerns involved with e-cigarettes, there are many that are overblown. In 2019, there was a sudden uptick in "popcorn lung”: acute accumulation of scar tissue in the lungs. This was found to be attributed to black market THC vaporizers that contained Vitamin E acetate, not nicotine concentrates. If you purchase your e-cigarettes and liquids/concentrates from reputable dealers, there is little to no risk of acute respiratory disease such as popcorn lung. In other words, please don't get your e-cigarettes on the street - it's just a bad idea.
Where should you look to buy your e-cigarettes? While recent laws have been put in place to restrict the shipping of e-cigarettes and nicotine concentrates through the mail, this does not mean that you are unable to order vaporizers and associated gear online. All this means is that companies are required to sell through a service that requires an adult with a valid ID to sign at the point of delivery. This has led companies to scramble and find alternate shipment services that can meet legal requirements, with widely varying effects.
