Flowers For Dreams is different from all of the other flower clubs on our list - and in ways that are really intriguing. To start, the flowers you'll find in their bouquets are all grown in the US (the Midwest, to be specific), and you can get inspired reading about the family farms behind the blooms right on the florist's website. And, 25% of all profits here are donated to local charities: over $1.3 million since the company's inception. Impressed yet?
Choose between ready-made bouquets or DIY
You'll notice the difference right away in the two options for flower clubs here: the Artisan subscription, which comes with fresh-cut flowers in seasonally-crafted arrangements, and the DIY which (as you'd imagine from the name) lets you take a crack at being the artist yourself with loose bundles of blooms and short instructional videos from Flowers For Dreams' lead designer. While it's not uncommon for flower clubs offering larger bouquets to suggest splitting them up into several smaller displays, Flowers For Dreams is the only one we found that encourages you to use your own creativity (with a little bit of pro help too).

With both flower clubs here, you'll get a Flowers For Dreams branded tote on your first delivery, along with your choice of a starter vase or mason jar. The DIY club also includes shears, to help you make your own flower arrangements.
Pricing varies depending on how you set up your subscription
How about the price? There are several factors that will determine what you pay for your flower club here. Do you want a small or big bouquet? The Artisan is priced at $45 for the small and $75 for the large, while the DIY club is always the same at $60 per delivery. Those prices assume you're signing up for a monthly plan, but both come with discounts of 5% and 10% if you choose a bi-weekly or weekly frequency, respectively. Unfortunately, shipping with Flowers For Dreams is only complimentary if your monthly subscription total is at least $100. Otherwise, expect it to cost around $20 per delivery.

Figuring out the delivery costs is also where we realized that this flower club has a limited service area. Unless you live in the Midwest (or your recipient does), you might not be able to subscribe to either club here. There's certainly no problem when it comes to Flowers For Dreams' track record with customers. The company enjoys an "A” rating from the Better Business Bureau and no complaints filed there. And across all sources ranging from Google to Yelp, this florist has an average of 4.4 out of 5 stars. Most of F4D's feedback comes from one-off customers and not necessarily subscribers, but it's still enthusiastic with lots of compliments for the florist for going above and beyond what was expected.
Awesome flower club - if you can get it
However, with not just a limited service area but a more narrow range of flower types (no lush winter blooms from the Equator here), Flowers For Dreams' flower clubs aren't going to be what a lot of shoppers have in mind when trying to set up recurring deliveries of bouquets. For those who live in the Midwest, especially those who love the idea of learning how to arrange flowers themselves, this could be a fun option to consider. But, if that's not what you have in mind, or if you (or your recipient) are outside of Flowers For Dreams' delivery zip codes, you'll need to choose a different flower club.
