Enjoy Flowers is not your typical flower delivery company. Instead of taking your order and passing it along through a florist network, this service ships your bouquet (for free) directly from its farms in Colombia, ensuring that your flowers are as fresh as possible. Each bouquet is hand-tied, carefully packaged in a beautiful delivery box, and comes with flower food and instructions for keeping it looking gorgeous for at least seven days (guaranteed).
Subscribe or send once
There are two options for buying flowers here: a monthly subscription or a one-time bouquet. In the past, recurring deliveries were the only possibility - which made this a not-great choice for anyone wanting to do a one-off gift. Now, you've got the best of both worlds. Either way, all bouquets come with 30-35 stems: enough to split up into two separate arrangements if you like.
Lots of options in the subscription plans
If you go with the subscription plan, you can choose among four collections: Garden ($65), Designer ($78), Monochromatic ($78), or Premier ($105). You decide if you want flowers for three, six, or 12 months; every bouquet will have a new artisan design so you never get the same arrangement twice. On the two longer subscriptions, you'll get a slight savings as the per-bouquet price drops to $76.83 for the six-month plan and $76.05 for the year-long subscription.
6 seasonal bouquets to choose from
When you click on the One-Time Bouquets tab, you'll see six arrangements of the season's best blooms. For example, in the summer, you might get to choose between bouquets like "Summer Staycation" (with hydrangeas, garden roses, snapdragons and succulents) and "Stargazing" (with hydrangeas, garden roses, veronicas and carnations). All one-time bouquets are priced at $78. If you'd like to add a vase, you'll pay $20 for a cylindrical glass design.
No same-day deliveries
All bouquets ship for free within the lower 48 United States, typically 4-5 days after the order is placed. You can set your preferred delivery date for any Monday through Thursday after that timeframe; you'll need to look for a different florist if you want same-day or weekend delivery, or if your recipient lives outside of the US.
Customers have lots of compliments for this service
While most feedback for this flower delivery company is related to their subscription plans, it's still overwhelmingly positive. Even when we found people registering a complaint about the quality of a particular delivery, Enjoy Flowers' reps responded within a few hours (which is impressive in itself) to offer a refund or redelivery as soon as possible. Your blooms are guaranteed to stay fresh for at least a week, and many customers say that their Enjoy Flowers bouquets last twice that.
Limited selection but excellent quality
We've given Enjoy Flowers a half-star bump since our last evaluation: we're so glad that they added one-off bouquet purchases to their store, and that customers can now reach them via email, phone, or live chat. The Enjoy Points rewards program is also a nice new touch. Because this flower delivery company is still really limited in options, compared with other online florists, we can't quite make it our highest-ranked store (a cheery-bright summer-fresh arrangement might not be the right tone for a sympathy bouquet, know what we mean?). However, if you're on the hunt for a stunning bouquet of seasonal blooms at a price that won't break the bank, you should give Enjoy Flowers a chance.
Fresh flowers are a part of some of life's most significant moments. An engagement ring nestled in a dozen red roses. A red-white-and-blue tribute arrangement at a veteran's celebration of life. That "just because" bouquet when someone needs to know they're loved. From Valentine's Day to Mother's Day and a thousand other occasions, flowers are the perfect way to show your love, gratitude, or appreciation.
But, if you live in Memphis and you're trying to delight, surprise, or honor someone who lives in Miami, you can't just run to your local florist and pick something out. That's where flower delivery companies come in. Most florists (including your preferred mom-and-pop flower shop) participate in one or more networks, like FTD and Teleflora. These connections let you place your order and have it brought to life by a florist in your recipient's area, easy-peasy.
Because so many florists use these networks, you'll often find the same arrangements featured on their online stores. That's where attention to customer service really makes the difference: any network florist will be at the mercy of how the store on the receiving end actually pulls the arrangement together, and sometimes the quality on that side isn't what the original florist promised. When that happens, the best flower delivery companies will take responsibility for your satisfaction - either through a refund or a redelivery, often with a different local florist if available. That's more or less "business as usual" when you're buying flowers from a traditional online florist.
However, that's not the only option for flower delivery. You can also choose to send flowers from a service that works directly with growers: the bouquets are fresh-cut and carefully packaged, kept chilled in transit, and delivered right to your recipient's doorstep. These direct-to-customer flower companies are a great solution if there aren't any florists local to the person you're sending them to - because FedEx and UPS can get just about anywhere in the US. Another plus with this type of flower delivery is the price: you'll often get twice as many blooms for what you'd get for the same money spent at a more traditional flower shop.
So, where should you buy your flowers? Your options are almost as vast as the variety of blooms themselves. It might feel a little less overwhelming if you use these criteria to guide your choice:
