From You Flowers is an internet-based florist that uses a network of over 20,000 flower shops worldwide to deliver bouquets and arrangements, including same-day options. Their website can accept orders 24/7, and extra help is offered through a toll-free number. From You Flowers is also the parent company of Send Flowers, another delivery service on our list.
Prices are really attractive
As we looked at the different flower delivery options on our list, we wanted to make an equal comparison across all of them. So, we priced out two common purchases: a dozen roses and a basic sympathy arrangement. Here's what we found at From You Flowers:
Pay attention to arrangement sizes in images
Overall, this flower delivery website is easy to use. On the main page, you'll find seasonal options, same-day bouquets and arrangements, options for birthdays or love and romance, even gift baskets. The images are really compelling, but be aware that the initial photos might represent the "premium size” arrangement, and not the lowest-priced one of the bunch (pun intended). When you choose one that you might want to send, you'll be able to click through the regular, deluxe, and premium options (when applicable) and see how many blooms and how much greenery each size will include. Expect about a $20 difference between the regular and premium sizes.
Solid options for extra gifts
You'll also be able to add on a mylar balloon ($6 each), a teddy bear, and/or a box of chocolates (which are both $15 to $25, depending on the size). And, from there, you can click the card message dropdown to enter your own well-wishes or condolences, but no card is required.
Look for discounts
Don't forget to look for a promo code at the top of the From You Flowers website when you visit. During our most recent time on the site, there was a 10% discount offered there, and it seemed to have been applied automatically to our cart.
Some arrangements aren't available everywhere
One word of advice: before you get too far down the track with a bouquet you love, check that it's available in your recipient's zip code. We were surprised to find out that the relatively basic arrangement we were looking at was unavailable to send to our intended person in Wisconsin, but From You Flowers had no problem sending it to our other recipient in Florida.
No delivery fees revealed until you create an account
You'll be able to see all of the available delivery dates, too. Sundays typically come with a surcharge, but there are lots of options for any day of the week you need to send flowers. However, you'll have to work your way well through the checkout before you find out how much the actual delivery will cost: you can create an account, log in with your Amazon account, or do guest checkout, but you'll still have to put in all of your payment information before you're told the final total. We're absolutely not fans of that, and From You Flowers' sister site (Send Flowers) does it too.
Lots of complaints but still gets an "A+” from the BBB
We have mixed feelings about From You Flowers - and apparently, we're not the only ones. For example, the Better Business Bureau gives the company an "A+” rating and accreditation, and yet there's still an alert for the business welcoming people to reach out to From You Flowers' liaison to resolve issues (ostensibly instead of leaving a complaint with the BBB). It's hard to resolve the BBB's rating with the 764 complaints filed there over the last three years, and the separate reviews left on the BBB site that only averaged 1.08 stars out of 5 across another 765 ratings.
No confidence in this flower delivery's customer service
Our lukewarm feelings continue when we look at the 4.4-star average on Google ratings, spanning nearly 13,000 reviews - which sounds pretty good, until you see that many of the 5-star scores come from people who were asked for their opinions right after ordering (before the flowers arrived... or didn't arrive...). Then you jump over to Trustpilot and see that over 4800+ ratings, more than 75% of them awarded this flower delivery company just 1 or 2 stars. Best or worst flower delivery? Always beautiful and on time or late and wilted? It's anyone's guess. Of course, it's true that any flower delivery company depends on the florists and delivery drivers, but our impression is that From You Flowers gives unhappy customers the runaround, offering no refund or just a partial refund... until or unless they file a complaint with the BBB.
No change in this company's (poor) rating
Ultimately, the story is the same as the last time we reviewed From You Flowers: they still get a higher score than their sister company (Send Flowers), because they've got a perfect grade from the BBB and do have some loyal, long-term customers who are super-happy with the service here. But, that's not enough for us to get past the thousands of customers who had a bad enough experience to give this flower delivery business a low rating. You've got better, more consistent places to order from, and you'll find those at the top of our list.
Flowers have long been a universal way to show you care, whether you're celebrating a birthday, offering condolences, or just brightening someone's day. Each bouquet can carry its own meaning - roses for love, lilies for sympathy, sunflowers for cheer - making flowers a perfect gift for almost any occasion.
Flower delivery can easily bring the beauty and joy of fresh blooms directly to your door (or the doorstep of someone special) without the hassle of going to a flower shop - when you order online. When you use a flower delivery website, you get access to a variety of options, from timeless classics like those roses and lilies to unique, seasonal arrangements curated by skilled florists.
Some services even offer same-day or next-day delivery, so you can send a thoughtful gift even if you're shopping at the last minute. How do they get it done? Usually, online flower delivery services are partnered with a florist network, so that your order is fulfilled by someone local (although there are a few who ship their bouquets directly from the farm).
Want to make your gift even more special? You can often add on a vase, balloons, chocolates, or a custom greeting card with a personal message. This flexibility makes it easy to personalize your order so that it perfectly fits the sentiment you want to convey.
So, which online florist should you use for your next beautiful bouquet or artful arrangement? Choosing the right flower delivery service can depend on a few key factors:
