Wayfair was founded in 2011 by Niraj Shah and Steve Connie. It was originally called CSN Stores, and later became Wayfair. When first starting out, the business was run out of Steve's spare bedroom in Boston, Massachusetts. Today they have a headquarters building still located there - but definitely much larger than a bedroom.

For larger items, there will be up to 3 additional days to ship the product.
100-night free trial
Wayfair offers a good return policy. As long as you have the original packaging and the item is unassembled, you have 30 days to return. So, you will be able to try out the futon mattress for 100 days before deciding if you want to keep it. If you decide to return or exchange it, the 100 days do not restart. When requesting a refund, also be aware that delivery fees will not be refunded.
Positive customer reviews
Wayfair has earned an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau website. Customers have a lot of positive things to say about Wayfair. One person raved about the affordability and selection. She was able to redo an entire room and stay within budget. Another customer raved about how the customer service agent went above and beyond to help her with an issue. There were some negative reviews about returns, but the positive far outweighed the negatives here. The negative reviews included things like personality of customer service agents on the phone, ease of handling a return and speed of the entire process.

Futons are a common piece of furniture to sleep on or relax. The convenience of having it be a chair or couch by day and a bed by night makes it a convenient addition to any house. Futons are great for an extra bed for company that can be left as a couch or chair during the day or when no one is using it. They are also fantastic for bedrooms that have limited space, since you can use it as a bed at night but save space during the day by making it back into a couch.
The mattress cover can be made out of several types of materials, such as microfiber, cotton, linen, velvet - the possibilities are almost endless. Futon mattresses are very similar to traditional mattresses but as an added bonus you can turn the mattress into a couch. Instead of purchasing a bed and a couch, a futon provides both of these pieces of furniture in one for an affordable price. Futon covers are interchangeable so you can update the look of your futon as often as you like.
Traditionally a Japanese style of bedding, a futon consists of a mattress and duvet cover and both are able to be folded and stored away. In Japan, futons are used on a tatami, which is a type of mat. In the United States, typically a futon is used on a wooden or metal frame instead. Futons became popular in the USA in the 1980's and are traditionally thicker and harder to fold up than those in Japan.
