The sky's the limit when it comes to golf equipment selection available online. You can easily compare products between retailers, read all the details about each club, and shop an assortment of colors, brands, prices, and sizes. If you are left-handed or an above average height, shopping online is where to start. You're more likely to find specialty equipment from an online retailer than at your local sporting goods store.

Worldwide Golf Shops is the parent company of a host of golf retailers including Roger Dunn Golf Shops, Edwin Watts Golf Shops, Golfer's Warehouse, The Golf Mart, Van's Golf Shops, and Uinta Golf. They are known for their extremely generous 90-day, 100% satisfaction guarantee. We found one of the most extensive selections of products at Worldwide Golf Shops, compared with practically any other online golf retailer.

The inventory at Worldwide Golf Shops goes beyond your basic needs. Everything you can dream of that might come in handy when golfing (or even off the course), you'll find it here at fair prices. Product categories include:
Tons Of Options
Not only do they have plenty of sub-categories to help narrow down golf equipment, but there are tons of options to choose from for any given product. For example, when you're looking at clubs, you can filter by brand, gender, category, hand, color, size, loft/club #, model, and price range. Needless to say, we feel confident that golfers of all skill levels will have a lot of success shopping here.
Golf Club Trade-in Program
Worldwide Golf Shops has a club trade-in program that is extremely easy to navigate online. You simply select the club you want to trade in, select the brand, enter the model number, and then select the shaft. You can send the clubs in for free since Worldwide Golf Shops covers the shipping costs, and then you'll receive an eGift card that can be spent online or at any of their retail stores.
Generous Return Policy

Here you get access to podcasts with different golfers, updates on recent tournaments, educational blog posts, and more. These materials are free for anyone to browse and they are updated frequently.
Great Customer Response
Worldwide Golf Shops receives an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. People have great things to say about buying from this store, and we aren't surprised considering their huge assortment of products, fair pricing, and free golf resources. To add to our confidence, customers can leave unfiltered reviews on all the products sold on the website, so it gives you a really good idea of whether you're receiving high quality gear or not.
Highest Rating
It was easy to give Worldwide Golf Shops our highest rating for online golf equipment. We highly recommend shopping here first if you're looking for anything in the world of golf. We are impressed with what they have to offer and feel they live up to their good reputation.
Fairway Golf is based out of San Diego and has been in business for over 29 years. In addition to their online and brick-and-mortar stores, they host golf tournaments monthly, conduct golf charity events for local schools, support junior high and high school golf programs, and more.
Great Product Selection
Although Fairway Golf USA does not have the prettiest website, they do have a great product selection. Some of their inventory is especially unique, including Japanese clubs, exotic ball markers, Scotty headcovers, and more. They provide all your golfing essentials like balls, tees, clubs, shoes, and apparel in addition to an array of accessories like towels, umbrellas, eyewear, watches, books, and so on.
Low Price Guarantee
Prices range quite a bit at Fairway Golf depending on the brand, size, and quality of what you're buying. They also have a low price guarantee to ensure that competitors aren't beating their prices. If you are looking for something like a driver where there are pages of options, we recommend sorting them by either ascending or descending price to more easily find something in your price range. It's pretty easy to find what you want based on the categories on the website, but as mentioned earlier, the website needs some work. In the ladies section of the website there are a lot of flashy pink, girly photos of different products and it might feel a little bit overwhelming to narrow down your results.
Expert Help
Customers who have shopped for golf equipment from Fairway Golf report that everyone they work with is an expert when it comes to finding the right fit and type of equipment. Whether it's over the phone to get help ordering something remotely or in-store, customers say they feel confident ordering from Fairway Golf because they have good customer service representatives to help out.
30 Day Return Policy
If you receive your order of golf equipment from Fairway Golf and find it unsatisfactory for any reason, you have 30 days to return it for a full refund. If you purchase clubs and play with them before realizing you need to switch them out for a different size, style, or type, you can send them back under the "playability guarantee" and receive 100% of the cost back in the form of store credit (only valid one time).
High Rating In Spite Of Their Website
Overall, it's a good idea to browse through Fairway Golf USA's website to see if they have the golf equipment you are looking for. If you're unsure of where to begin with buying clubs or anything else, we recommend calling their customer service and getting help over the phone to guide you in the right direction. Their website could be simplified and updated, but it isn't a reflection of their selection or professionalism as a company as a whole. When you're in the market for golf equipment, Fairway Golf is a good place to look.
Austad's is a family-run golf store that has been in business since 1963. In 2017, they entered their third-generation of Austad management and continue to not only sell golf products to their customers, but also help them have fun and enjoy the sport. They guarantee all their products to ensure that customers are satisfied with their purchases and want to continue shopping at their online and brick-and-mortar golf stores.
Over 35 Golf Brands
If there is a particular golf brand you like, there is no doubt you'll find it at Austad's. They have over 35 brands to choose from with products including apparel, shoes, bags, accessories, clubs, and more. Within each product category you can narrow down your selections even further by price, material, type, size, and so forth. However, once you apply those filters, there isn't a huge selection of each type of product. For example, there are only 9 complete sets of clubs for women and 8 for men.
Save Up To 75%
For whatever product you need, you can sort by price to find something within your budget. We also recommend checking out the sale page at Austad's for discounted clubs, apparel, shoes, balls, bags, and accessories. Customers can save up to 75% by taking advantage of these deals. In addition, Austad's offers free shipping for orders over $49 and a low price guarantee: if you find an identical product elsewhere for less, Austad's will match the lower price.
20/20 Playability Guarantee
Austad's offers full refunds for products sent back to their headquarters in Sioux Falls, South Dakota if they are in new and unused condition. However, if you purchase clubs and end up playing with them before realizing they are not to your satisfaction, you can still return them as part of the 20/20 playability guarantee. You'll have to pay a 20% restocking fee, but you'll be eligible for an exchange or store credit for the rest of what you paid.
Good Place To Shop
The Better Business Bureau gives Austad's an A+ rating. On Austad's website, there are over 80 reviews from customers around the United States who had positive experiences shopping here and recommend their store to others. Other than their low inventory of some products, Austad's is a good place to browse golf equipment and hopefully score something you like.
In The Hole Golf is headquartered in Jackson, Wyoming and has been in the industry for over 10 years. They provide golf equipment in addition to training aids, GPS systems, apparel, shoes, and accessories. They carry over 150 brands of products, making it one of the most extensive golf equipment stores we have found. Their website is a bit busier than our highest-ranked sites, but that isn't a reason not to shop here.
Competitive Pricing
Customers can look for products at In The Hole Golf with their search feature or by browsing through their categories of equipment. There are about 20-50 results for any given item on this site, with differences in price, color, size, and brand. Prices are quite comparable with other golf retailers and customers should be able to find what they're looking for within their budget.
Price Match Guarantee
If you're shopping around online at a few different golf retailers and find a product identical to one sold at In The Hole Golf for a lower price, you can take advantage of the price match guarantee to get the best deal. Orders over $75 placed with In The Hole are eligible for free shipping.
100% Satisfaction Guarantee
This retailer's 100% satisfaction guarantee and playability guarantee ensure that customers can get refunds on their products within 60 days of receiving their order if they are unsatisfied for any reason. This is one of the most generous return policies on the market. In addition, golfers can try out the products they buy and return them if they don't meet expectations. In The Hole Golf may refuse returns that are significantly damaged or altered, or if they don't have a return authorization attached.
Mixed Customer Feedback
The Better Business Bureau gives In The Hole Golf an A+ rating. Feedback from customers about their purchases from In The Hole are mixed. More recently customers have said they've ordered products only to find out later that they were actually out of stock. Others never received orders or got the wrong items. On the flip side, there are quite a few people who said that buying golf equipment from In The Hole Golf was a smooth process and shipping was speedy quick.
Reasonable Choice
The mixed reviews brings In The Hole Golf down in our ratings. However, we still think they could be a good place to find reasonably-priced golf equipment.
TaylorMade began in 1979 by a man named Gary Adams. He took a $24,000 loan on his home to start an innovative golf company that attracts many of the greatest golf athletes. Today their tour staff is led by well-known competitors like Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, and others. TaylorMade has a professional website that reflects their professional products. This seems like an elite place to buy golf equipment - if you set aside the fact that they have an F rating from the Better Business Bureau and more than a handful of unhappy customers.
Customized Golf Clubs
In addition to selling all the products necessary to play golf and more, TaylorMade has a custom shop where you can control the customization process of the golf clubs and balls you like. The golf ball and clubs selector tool features help customers know what specs will be right for them.
Higher Than Average Pricing
As a manufacturer of their own products, TaylorMade does not sell outside brands that are often found at other golf stores like Titleist, Callaway, Mizuno, Ping, Cobra Golf, or others. Because of this, you'll be looking at higher-than-average prices for clubs, bags, shoes, balls, accessories - you name it. This might put TaylorMade above some people's budget, especially if they are just starting out in golf and don't need the highest-end products.
Customer And Product Issues
However, just because TaylorMade's products are priced and marketed as high-end, this doesn't necessarily mean they are the best of the best. We found quite a few concerning product reviews from customers saying that their clubs started breaking and falling apart after only a few weeks or months of use. Some products started to crack or had other defects that shouldn't be an issue when you've paid such a high price. On top of that, it doesn't seem like TaylorMade stands behind what they sell since customer service gives people the runaround, doesn't respond to claims, or fails to honor the company's warranty.
30 Day Refund Policy
TaylorMade has a standard refund policy that allows customers to return their products for a refund within 30 days of purchase. This excludes custom-built golf clubs, personalized golf balls, and any personalized accessories. There is no exchange policy here, so if you're sending your product back to buy something else, you'll need to get a refund and then complete a separate order.
Free Shipping And Military Discounts
Discounts for military members and their families are available at TaylorMade. They receive 15% off of all their purchases here. Also, anyone who makes an account on their website receives free shipping on their orders. If you're really concerned about the total cost of what you decide to buy here, TaylorMade has financing options that allow you to break up the price of your order into four separate, interest-free payments.
Failing Grade From The BBB
TaylorMade has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau. This is a bad sign in addition to the shopper reviews about poor customer service and dishonest business practices. Although TaylorMade carries weight with their name and association with professional golfers and high-end products, it doesn't seem like they actually live up to their reputation. Since their products are on the more expensive end of the spectrum and they don't have a loyal fan base that seems to be wild about the quality of their golf equipment, TaylorMade has not earned one of our highest ratings.
3Balls sells all the basic equipment needed to perform in the golf world. You can shop both new and used items here to find what you need in your budget. In addition to purchasing products from 3Balls, you can trade in any clubs you have and get a credit to use in the 3Balls' store in the future. Some customers are pleased with their overall experience at 3Balls, whereas others have had delivery issues and urge shoppers to look elsewhere for golf equipment.
Variety Of Golf Equipmpent Categories
Categories of golf equipment sold at 3 Balls include:
Pre-owned Clubs
3Balls sells over 1,000 pre-owned clubs at discounted prices (up to 30% off). The cost for these ranges from $8 - $2,600 depending on the club and its condition. New clubs range from $29.99 - $3,000. Customers can sort clubs by player (junior, men, women), dexterity, product, brand, club type, and lines.
Onsite Discount Codes
You can frequently find discount codes at 3Balls to make your overall purchase less expensive. At the time of this review, they offered a code for $15 off of $100 and $40 off orders over $200. Shipping is free for purchases over $99. In addition, if you sign up for their email list, you get 10% off your next purchase.
30 Day Full Refund Policy
Items can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase if they are in new and unused condition. If anything is returned that is not in the same condition as it was sold, a 15% restocking fee will be applied or the refund refused.
Average Rating
3Balls has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. However, we found feedback from customers stating that delivery times are inaccurate on some products and that it is frustrating to try and work with customer service to get status updates or refunds. In some instances, orders arrived with wrong or missing products. Although there is a decent selection of golf equipment here, 3Balls doesn't seem to be the most professional or reliable place to shop online. For that reason, they've earned an average rating.
The Golf Warehouse, also referred to as TGW, became one of the first online golf retailers in 1998. They are based out of Wichita, Kansas and also own the company BaseballSavings. TGW carries golf brands like Nike, TaylorMade, Adidas, Ping, FootJoy, Callaway, Titleist, and many more.
Golf Categories
The full list of golf categories includes:
Large Inventory Of Golf Equipment
The Golf Warehouse seems to have everything you could need to play golf. If you spend over $99 here, you'll qualify for free shipping. The prices on all their products are comparable with other online golf retailers. Any given club is going to range from a couple hundred dollars to about $2,500 depending on brand, size, and type. Because there is a pretty big inventory of golf equipment at this store, you should be able to find something in your price range.
Price Matching
If you find a product sold by TGW for a lower price through another golf retailer, TGW will match the price. This strictly applies to products that match apples-to-apples and only for in-stock products on both sites, so make sure you pay attention to the details before reaching out to customer service.
30 Day Returns
Any products that customers want to return that are in new condition, unused, and accompanied by all accessories and original packaging can be sent back within 30 days for a refund. They can be dropped off at any FedEx location near you. The Golf Warehouse lists the price for this return service as $6.99.
Less Than Ideal
The Golf Warehouse has a less-than-ideal C- rating from the Better Business Bureau. This is likely due to issues customers have had where they pay for products and receive something different, buy things that appear to be in stock but aren't, or poor customer service. One customer even reported receiving used golf clubs that had dirt and ball marks on them. (EEK!) However, for every negative comment someone has made about TGW, there seems to be a positive one that reports a seamless experience.
High Hopes But Disappointing
We want to like The Golf Warehouse since they carry so many brands that golfers love and have a solid inventory of everything you might need to play. We still think that it's worth checking out their products if you're in the market for something specific. However, we are disappointed by people's experiences here, so we recommend that you first try shopping with a higher-rated online golf retailer.
Golf Outlets has a very straightforward website with all the basic needs for juniors, men, women, or left-handed golfers. The top brands sold here are lesser-known including Forgan, Woodworm, Stowamatic, Palm Springs, Confidence, and I-onics. We didn't find as big of a selection of golf equipment at Golf Outlets as we did other places and some listed products are even sold out completely.
More Functional Than Fancy
A few of the product categories resulted in a message that their inventory was sold out while some only had one or two options for sale. If you're planning to find golf equipment here, you're not going to get all the bells and whistles, high-end brands (like Titleist or Callaway), or unique styles and designs. Golf equipment here is more functional than fancy.
Reasonable Pricing
Prices for golf equipment at Golf Outlets are really reasonable (for example, all of their full sets of clubs are $330 or less with most in the $200 range). Part of the reason for this is because they own many of the brands on the site, which means they sell direct-to-consumer without having to go through shops, reps, or agents. They also seek out big-brand clearance deals when they are available, so they can sell those products for the lowest price possible.
Shipping Is Extra
Estimated shipping prices are shown with each product page. Ground shipping is usually around $6.99 anywhere in the US. 2-day shipping is $21, and 1-day is $31.50, which is pretty expensive and Golf Outlets doesn't have free shipping over a certain order total like some competitors do.
20% Restocking Fee
If you're unhappy with any products purchased from Golf Outlets, you have the option of returning them for a refund. If you send your items back within 30 days, you'll get your money back, minus a 20% restocking fee. For clubs that are a couple hundred dollars, that fee might hurt your wallet. We also noticed they don't have a low price guarantee on their products and there are no sales pages or discounts to take advantage of either.
Minimal Selection
Golf Outlets does not have a Better Business Bureau profile or much by way of customer feedback. The main thing they have going for them is their reasonable prices for the products they have. However, we are unimpressed with their minimal selection for any given type of golf equipment. They don't offer informational blogs or additional assistance for people needing help knowing what to purchase if they are first-time golfers. The 20% restocking fee for returns seems hefty in addition to expensive shipping costs. We recommend shopping at a higher-rated site for golf equipment before resorting to buying from Golf Outlets.
The best deals are easily located when shopping and comparing the competition online. Brick-and-mortar sporting goods stores often markup prices to cover the costs of keeping the lights on and all that entails. Also, the convenience of purchasing at a clubhouse on a golf course seems nice, but buyer's remorse is likely to set in when you realize you've significantly over paid. Online shopping gives you the most bang for your buck!
When purchasing golf equipment online, we suggest you keep the following criteria in mind:
