If you suffer from gout, you already know how painful it can be. People who experience this condition, often occurring in the big toe, find it unbearable to have anything touch it. In addition to severe pain, it can feel hot and of course very tender.
While gout cannot be cured completely, there are various options available to manage the symptoms and prevent future attacks. The primary goals of gout relief include alleviating pain during acute episodes, reducing inflammation, lowering uric acid levels, and preventing recurrent gout attacks.

Gout and You has a range of all-natural products specifically created to provide relief from gout pain. Their top product, the Joint Discomfort Relief Cream, has received glowing 5-star reviews from more than 2000 customers. In fact, some users have reported almost instant relief after applying it just once. It's definitely a product worth considering if you're seeking relief from gout pain.
All-natural ingredients
So, what's in this all-natural topical cream that makes it so effective? Check out the ingredient list:
Important instructions for using safely
To apply the cream, it is recommended to use it in the morning and evening on the affected joint. If greater relief is needed, it can be applied up to 3-4 times a day. However, there are some important guidelines to follow. It's advised not to bandage or tightly wrap the area after application. It's also essential to wash hands thoroughly after use: many user reviews said that you're really going to feel it if you accidentally get this cream on any sensitive or delicate body parts. Additionally, it's recommended not to use the cream before, during, or after activities that raise body temperature or in hot and humid weather. For more specific instructions and precautions, we suggest carefully reading the packaging before using the product.
Even more affordable with promotions
The Joint Discomfort Relief Cream by Gout and You comes in a 3-oz jar for just $19.97, making it one of the most affordable gout relief products available. Furthermore, there might be additional money-saving promotions in place. At the time of this evaluation, most customers were eligible for free delivery, and discounts ranging from 10-25% were offered if two or more Gout and You products were purchased together (just look for the required coupon codes towards the bottom of the product page). Apart from the flagship cream, Gout and You also offers other gout-related remedies, including Tart Cherry Extract capsules, Joint Support Gummies, NutriGout, and NutriGout Plus.
Refunds may or may not happen
We do want to caution potential buyers regarding a discrepancy related to the 100% satisfaction guarantee. While the product page states that customers can receive a full refund for any reason, some customer reviews mentioned that they were informed the product was ineligible for return when they tried to request a refund. However, considering the relatively low price of Gout and You's Joint Discomfort Relief Cream, even if you can't get a refund, the financial loss is minimal.
#1 product for gout relief
Especially for those who are tired of relying on pills and tablets to relieve their gout, the gout relief cream from Gout and You could be the perfect solution. It's easy to appreciate the all-natural ingredients, affordable price, and the positive reviews from numerous individuals who have experienced significant (and often immediate) pain reduction when using this product. We're pleased to once again give our highest ranking to the Joint Discomfort Relief Cream by Gout and You.

Across nearly 100 independently-verified reviews, Gout Pain Management has received a perfect 4- or 5-star rating from almost every single reviewer. People say that the rollerball is easy to use, the blend of ingredients is very effective, and they've been so satisfied that they've come back several times to replenish their supply. Also, some of those reviews were as recent as a month or two prior to this evaluation - a good indicator of the ongoing success of Forces of Nature as a reputable business. The company also continues to have an "A+" rating from the Better Business Bureau, with no complaints filed over the last three-year period.
Top pick for affordability, effectiveness, and convenience
Forces of Nature is dedicated to the well-being of their customers, and Gout Roll-On Pain Relief exemplifies that commitment as an easy-to-use gout pain remedy that can be conveniently applied on-the-go. With its affordability and the added assurance of a 90-day satisfaction guarantee, this product becomes an even more appealing choice. It's easy to see why this Forces of Nature product is one of our preferred gout relief solutions.
Here at TopConsumerReviews.com, we have extensive knowledge and experience with Native Remedies' product line, which covers a wide range of health conditions from allergies to anxiety. We have a strong appreciation for this retailer due to several compelling reasons that make them a great choice not only for gout relief but also for various other health needs you or your family members may have.
Homeopathic approach to gout symptoms
But first, let's take a look at their top gout relief product, Gout-Gone. This homeopathic option offers effective relief for minor joint aches and pains, reducing swelling and redness, and aiding in the breakdown of uric acid in the joints. This natural remedy contains these carefully selected active ingredients:
Transparency is a good thing
Native Remedies sets itself apart by providing detailed information about the ingredients used in their remedies. Unlike some retailers of homeopathic products, they are exceptionally transparent about the composition of their products, offering a comprehensive list of each component along with a brief description of its purpose. This information can be found in the tabs in the center of the product page: give it a look if you'd like to know exactly how each ingredient targets gout.
One bottle could last up to 60 days
To administer Gout-Gone, the initial dosage involves taking 0.5mL every 20-30 minutes until symptoms subside. However, this frequency applies only to the first dose. Following that, you will typically take 0.25 mL, 3-5 times per day as needed. Regardless of the dosage amount, you can dilute the drops in a small quantity of juice or water and consume slowly. Or, if you don't mind the taste, you have the option to drop the solution directly into your mouth. The duration of a 59 mL bottle will vary depending on the frequency of usage, lasting anywhere from 30 to 60 days.
Get a lot for your money
At a price of $39.95/bottle, you might think Gout-Gone is one of the more expensive gout relief products on the market - but keep in mind that it may last you up to two months. Also, Native Remedies offers frequent discounts. When you visit their website for the first time, there is often an attractive savings offer available if you subscribe to their email list as a new customer. This discount typically ranges from 10% to 40% and often includes free shipping. Plus, almost every remedy available on their site comes with a Buy 2 Get 1 Free promotion, allowing you to stock up on Gout-Gone or mix-and-match with other products. Furthermore, many of their medicines can be conveniently replenished automatically based on your preferred frequency, getting you a 15% discount and free shipping.
Customer reps are on the ball
Another commendable aspect of Native Remedies is their responsive customer service. It is reassuring to see their representatives actively addressing customer questions and concerns regarding their products. You can find this engagement under the Q&A tab, located towards the middle of the product page.
Use it for up to a year and still get a refund
One of the best reasons to consider using Native Remedies for your gout relief is their 100% Money-Back Guarantee. They request that you give Gout-Gone, or any other product, a fair trial period of at least 30 days. If you are not completely satisfied with the results, you have an entire year to initiate a return and receive a full refund, regardless of how much product you have used. The only limitation is that the initial order must be $200 or less.
Gout-Gone needs more customer feedback
So why isn't Gout-Gone our #1 pick among gout remedies? After all, Native Remedies' parent company, Silver Star Brands, has an "A+” rating and accreditation from the Better Business Bureau, and Native Remedies itself gets plenty of love from loyal customers. The fact is, compared with rival supplements and options that have hundreds (or even thousands) of reviews, Gout-Gone just doesn't. There were only seven on the Native Remedies site at the time of this evaluation, and only a few dozen that we could find elsewhere. True, it's pretty risk-free to give these drops a try, but it would be more compelling if we could see feedback - positive or negative - from lots of people who tried it.
No risk to try this gout relief remedy
Still, Native Remedies offers an exceptional experience as a retailer, not only for gout relief but for a wide range of health-related needs. With frequent discounts, responsive customer service, detailed ingredient listings, and an unbeatable refund policy, they have proven to be a reliable and customer-oriented choice in the realm of natural remedies. It's definitely worth giving Gout-Gone a try.
Naturasil for Gout is a gout relief product provided by Nature's Innovation, a biotech company based in Atlanta that specializes in manufacturing natural products and homeopathic medicines. This topical solution is applied directly to the affected joints and massaged in, and can be used 3-4 times a day in a dosage of approximately 10-20 drops.
Remedy is based on essential oils
What's in this gout relief product? Check out the list of 100% essential oils:
Apply a patch test to be sure
For detailed information on how each component of the product works synergistically to alleviate pain, promote joint movement, and enhance circulation, you can visit the product page. Some individuals may have a reaction to essential oils, so it's a good idea to conduct a patch test on a small area of the skin before applying the product more extensively.
Costs about $30/month
A 15mL bottle of Naturasil for Gout typically lasts approximately 30 days, depending on the frequency of use for gout relief. Priced at $29.95, it falls within the average range compared to similar products. Shipping fees are calculated during checkout, with a single bottle typically costing a little over $5 for USPS First Class delivery.
Solid 90-day money-back guarantee
The product is backed by a 90-day money-back guarantee. To qualify for a refund, the company requests that you use Naturasil for Gout as directed for a minimum of 30 days, and any incurred shipping costs will be deducted from the total refund amount.
Good reputation for the company, limited feedback on gout product
Nature's Innovation is definitely a reputable company, demonstrated by its "A+" rating and accreditation from the Better Business Bureau. Regarding the gout relief product specifically, there were only two customer reviews available on the Naturasil site at the time of our research. Although both reviews awarded the product a perfect 5-star rating, more feedback from users would make it a lot easier to determine the effectiveness of this essential oil blend in relieving gout symptoms.
A good option among topical gout relief remedies
Ultimately, the efficacy of any gout product may vary from person to person. What sets some remedies apart is a reliable return policy offered by a trustworthy company, and Naturasil for Gout fulfills both of these criteria. Although we're still disappointed not to see more feedback for this gout remedy, it's still not a bad option to try as a topical reliever.
Go-Out is a capsule-based gout relief product, labeled as a Mt. Angel supplement produced by Highland Laboratories. It contains a blend of ingredients known to reduce joint inflammation and help you stay active, delivered in capsule format and taken twice a day with meals.
Ingredients list may vary
So, what exactly is in Go-Out? The proprietary herbal blend in these capsules includes celery seed, tart cherry fruit extract, bromelain (from pineapples), potassium citrate, and turmeric root - at least, according to the information label for the product. The description doesn't mention the last two components, but instead references black pepper and boswellia. We're not sure why there's a discrepancy there, but if you have allergies or sensitivities to any of those ingredients, we strongly recommend that you reach out to the toll-free number for Highland Laboratories on the label to verify.
Expensive...
This is one of the more expensive gout relief remedies in our evaluation, at $45.99 per bottle plus up to $5 in shipping fees. And, with nothing offered with respect to a refund policy or satisfaction guarantee, you'll need to be comfortable with risking that $50+ if you want to try Go-Out.
...and not always in stock
Also, availability can be a problem. When we first started our evaluation of this product, we got a message saying that it was currently out of stock and it was uncertain if or when it would be available again. Fortunately, in just a day, it was back in stock, but if you're depending on Go-Out for consistent relief, that could be an issue.
Hundreds of people recommend Go-Out
But, that's a risk that could be worth taking, if customer reviews are any indication. Across 600+ ratings, 78% gave Go-Out a 4- or 5-star rating, for a total average of 4.2 out of 5 stars. We found enthusiastic recommendations from people who use Go-Out at the start of a flare-up because it makes the pain go away within a day, from others who have used the product for months with great results, and even from customers who were able to go off prescription gout medications because of this product.
Spendy but worth it
Ordinarily, a more-expensive-than-average gout relief product with no satisfaction guarantee wouldn't earn a 3.5-star rating from us. However, because of Go-Out's very positive track record with customers, we give it a higher ranking than we might otherwise. We'd love to see Mt. Angel and Highland Laboratories put something in writing about a refund policy in the meanwhile, but we still think this is a gout remedy that could be worth the investment.
PurMedica specializes in nutraceutical products for a variety of health concerns, all manufactured in an FDA-registered laboratory that's cGMP-certified. Their primary product for gout relief is called Urcinol, and it comes in a capsule format at a price of $29.99 for a one-month supply (and shipping is free for most customers).
8 ingredients, 250,000+ bottles sold
Urcinol has been on the market for over 15 years: more than 250,000 bottles have been sold since 2007. This synergistic blend of eight natural ingredients includes the following:
Dosing is easy: take one in the morning and one an hour before bedtime, both with a full glass of water.
Lots of long-term users
Customer feedback on Urcinol is impressive. Surveying more than 1,500 ratings, most of those give this gout option a perfect five stars - and many of those come from patients who have relied on Urcinol for years at a time. True, some reviews say that this gout product didn't ease their symptoms, but nothing is going to work for every single user. And, with a 90-day unconditional money-back guarantee, even on opened bottles, you should have no trouble getting a refund if you try it for a month.
Hasn't fixed issues with the BBB
The main reason why Urcinol doesn't get a higher rating from us is PurMedica's issues with the Better Business Bureau. Back in 2022, the BBB had reached out to the company, requesting that they provide verification regarding certain claims made. These include "made in the USA”, "clinically proven ingredients”, refund promises, and more. As of the date of this evaluation, PurMedica had failed to respond to the BBB and for that reason the company had earned an "F” rating there. That's hard to overlook.
Trust but verify
So, we'd say to take any claims made by PurMedica with a grain of salt, but maybe extend a little bit of confidence based on the many positive reviews from people who swear by Urcinol for gout relief. You may not care even a little bit about the BBB issue if this supplement gets you feeling better.
Founded in 2007, MapleLife seeks to develop supplements using pure, clean ingredients and with proven scientific research. All of their products are manufactured in Toronto, Canada and sold worldwide.
Could take 3 months to see results
MapleLife's gout remedy is called Gout Relief (or sometimes Gout Care, depending on where you purchase it). It comes in a capsule format, priced at $18.49 for a one-month supply. You take one capsule three times a day with meals, and MapleLife says it recommends taking it for 2-3 months at a minimum before you determine if it's working to manage your gout symptoms.
No secrets in the ingredients
What's in the all-natural, plant-based blend in every capsule of Gout Relief? See for yourself:
Successful in the long run
This MapleLife product does pretty well with customers too. Although we could only find about 50 ratings overall, they averaged a respectable 4.1-star average. While it didn't work for everyone, and its effectiveness during a bout of gout may be limited, many people said that they experienced relief when faithfully taking this supplement over the long-term.
No satisfaction guarantee
We wish that MapleLife offered a return policy or satisfaction guarantee, but we couldn't find any reference to one. Still, given that you're only paying $18.49 to try it for a month (or about $37 if you take it for the minimum recommended timeframe of two months), you're not putting a lot on the line financially if you decide to try Gout Relief - particularly when you consider that many rival supplements cost that much for just a 30-day supply.
Good but not great
Overall, Gout Relief by MapleLife comes in as a "just average” option for fighting your gout symptoms. We like the all-natural blend of ingredients and the extremely affordable price point: not everyone can afford to pay $30-$50 per month for a gout supplement, so MapleLife could be a blessing for customers on a budget. However, with somewhat limited feedback from users and no satisfaction policy, plus a potential wait of 2-3 months before you notice results, Gout Relief falls short of earning an enthusiastic recommendation from us.
Real Science Nutrition is based in Salt Lake City and aims to improve human health through "nature-based and science-perfected solutions”. While many of their products are geared towards athletes and performance, the company offers Gou-Tex Miracle to help alleviate the pain, stiffness, swelling and tenderness associated with gout.
Relaxes nerves and boosts circulation
According to Real Science Nutrition, Gou-Tex Miracle aids in enhancing the transmission of neurological signals to various areas of the body, facilitating joint flexibility. Its unique formula includes components that assist in regulating the build-up of uric acid in the fluid surrounding joints, tendons, and other tissues. This gout supplement features a soothing formula that promotes relaxation of the nervous system and enhances blood circulation throughout the entire body.
Not a lot of explanation on how it works
So what, exactly, is in that formula? Most of the ingredients are ones you'll recognize: vitamins C, D, K, B6, B12, and folate, for starters. What's designated as the "gout blend” is GABA and Vinitrox, but Real Science Nutrition stops short of explaining what those are or how they work. We're guessing it has something to do with the "miracle molecule of the century [nitric oxide] at the foundation of this formula”, but you'll just have to take their word for it.
Take two a day
You'll take two capsules a day, but again, there's no specifics given. Do you have to take Gou-Tex Miracle with a meal? Can you take it at any time of day? Your guess is as good as ours, because Real Science Nutrition certainly isn't telling us.
No money back
As far as we could tell, there's no satisfaction guarantee or refund policy for Gou-Tex Miracle - or anything else sold by Real Science Nutrition. That makes it a pretty risky $34.95, especially when the company says "some people may observe results within days of taking Gou-Tex Miracle; however, the results of this gout medicine are generally observed over time.” How long would you feel comfortable taking this supplement before deciding if it was working or not? Even if you had a reaction to the first bottle you bought, you wouldn't have a way of getting your money back. Compared with gout relief options that give you up to a year to try them out and request a refund, Gou-TEX Miracle comes up way short.
No feedback to consider
Trying to determine the reputation of this gout relief option or the company behind it was difficult at best. We couldn't find any customer feedback beyond one single rating (and no commentary to go along with it). Does it work? How long does it take to feel a difference? Real Science Nutrition doesn't seem to have enough people who have tried Gou-Tex Miracle to even get a general gist. Finding any buzz about the company itself is equally challenging, though RSN did have an active IG account at the time of this evaluation. But, we couldn't find a listing for this small Utah business with the Better Business Bureau either.
Don't bother with this gout remedy
We have a hard time getting excited about this gout relief product. Little explanation of how the ingredients work, no references to the science that's supposedly behind the formula, no feedback about the remedy or the company itself, and no satisfaction guarantee: not exactly the hallmarks of a gout remedy we'd want to take. You've got options that do well on all of those counts, so we recommend leaving Real Science Nutrition's Gou-Tex Miracle alone until more information is provided.
Gout is a complex form of arthritis characterized by severe pain, inflammation, and tenderness in the joints, most commonly affecting the big toe. It is caused by the accumulation of uric acid in the blood, a condition known as hyperuricemia.
Uric acid is a byproduct of the breakdown of purines, which are found in certain foods and occur naturally in the body. When the levels of uric acid become too high, the excess can form sharp, needle-like crystals that accumulate in the joints, triggering inflammation and pain.
The prevalence of gout has been increasing over the years, affecting millions of people worldwide. According to estimates, around 4% of adults in the United States currently suffer from gout, more often among men and individuals with certain risk factors such as obesity, high blood pressure, kidney disease, and a family history of the condition. Gout is also associated with lifestyle factors such as dietary choices, alcohol consumption, and sedentary habits.
But what if your current method to relieve your gout pain isn't working for you? You might have tried everything from ibuprofen to corticosteroid injections, all to no avail. That's where natural gout remedies might offer some relief. From topical oils and creams to homeopathic supplements taken orally, there are a number of less traditional (yet still effective) ways you can tackle your symptoms and get to feeling better soon.
Which gout relief product is right for you? Here are some factors you could consider to narrow down the options:
Although there's no cure for gout, it can be managed effectively through a combination of lifestyle changes and natural remedies. To that end, Top Consumer Reviews has evaluated the best - and the worst - gout relief products on the market today, to get you feeling great again.
