Manhattan Prep offers six different types of study help for students taking the GRE. They include a complete course, an MBA focused GRE prep, a math-specific course, private tutoring, an on-demand learning experience, and a foundations of math GRE course. There are both online and in-person courses for those with classes offered in their area. Our only complaint about Manhattan Prep is that it is a bit confusing and takes some time to clearly see what courses are offered, the differences between them, and their cost. You won't find "cheap" class options here, but if you're really serious about the GRE, you will likely find Manhattan Prep worth the cost.
Kaplan
- Cost: From $69 to $2,299
Kaplan has practice and full course options for students looking for test prep materials for the GRE. The two types of study plans vary quite a bit with pricing, so it gives more options to students with different budgets. We are disappointed that they receive a C- rating from the Better Business Bureau and feel leery of their services because of it. There are definitely better options out there for GRE study help, so we recommend trying those before spending the money at Kaplan.
