There's no need to get an estimate for Amerimax's products. You can see prices on any retailer that offers the Amerimax gutter guards. At one retailer, the prices for Amerimax guards ranged from $1.54 for 3 ft. of a snap-in gutter guard (white) up to $62.33 for a 25-pack of 3ft mesh gutter guards (black). Most of the products include "snap-in” style manufacturing, making them easy to install yourself. However, if you're not a fan of DIY, you may feel a little stuck as Amerimax doesn't offer pro installation as an option. On the other hand, Amerimax does offer the necessary details to help you get more savvy with gutter guard installation if you're worried about taking on the task yourself.

They don't offer installation services but supply all necessary materials for contractors or homeowners to complete the job themselves. Alongside their gutter guards, eGutter provides a variety of roof and gutter-related accessories. These include roof and gutter cleaners, tools, ladder accessories, fasteners, sealants, paint, snow guards, and downspout strainers. This makes it convenient to get everything you need for your installation in one place.

Clunky website isn't ideal for browsing

Since eGutter doesn't do installation, there's no need to get an estimate. You can jump right into pricing for sections of gutter guards. However, the site does come across as pretty old-fashioned (like pre-Y2k internet era old, yikes!). It isn't a great browsing experience either. It's hard to find what you need and there are no filters for price, material or anything else to help narrow down the options for gutter guards. eGutter focuses on functionality over aesthetics, providing the necessary information to make a purchase, but not much else. Most gutter guards come in a minimum of 20 ft, so you'll be looking at a minimum cost of around $100 to $130 depending on what gutter guard you go with. Other things like shipping costs are harder to find, and you have to make an account with eGutter to actually complete the purchase.

Although their website could use an update to improve the shopping experience with more standard shopping features like filters, eGutter still offers a competitive selection. This policy makes it important to be certain of your purchase to avoid these additional charges. However, during our research, we couldn't find more than a handful of reviews for eGutter, including no rating from the Better Business Bureau. With so few reviews and a range of other issues like the clunky website, we're a little leery about recommending eGutter over other companies. The few reviews we did find suggest that their products are effective, although communication with customer service is a challenge.

Not a competitive service for most homeowners

While more customer reviews would be helpful, and a site update is much needed, if you know what you need and like eGutter's pricing, the service is legit. However, for most homeowners who are new to gutter guards, this won't be ideal as there aren't detailed instructions for installation.
