You'll have 10 days to make a return or exchange, but since most people say that costumes come exactly as pictured online, hopefully you won't need to. If you are looking for a costume to go along with the latest major movie to come out of Hollywood or to dress up like a social icon that's been in the media a lot, Costumes will likely have options for you. There are tons of costumes and accessories here (as well as home decor, toys, and other celebratory clothing) and we're happy with the selection. Pricing is reasonable and the website is easy to browse. We don't love that returns incur restocking fees of 12% and that recent customer reviews have been really poor. The company seems to be switching over to a new software system and having tons of issues relating to shipping. If you're shopping close to Halloween, you may want to try a different retailer to ensure that your costume comes in time. Otherwise, give Costumes a chance and maybe plan well in advance to make sure you don't run into problems.

Costume Kingdom has been around for nearly 25 years and they haven't made a lot of efforts to keep their site up-to-date and appealing. It's easy enough to find the category of costumes you're looking for, but many items are out-of-stock or only come in a couple of sizes. Their pricing is what is so appealing about Costume Kingdom since you can get great deals here and their shipping is fast (and free over $50). Unfortunately, they get low scores on their customer service and their return policy is pretty strict, but overall they do have a decent selection that won't cost a fortune. Costume Kingdom isn't one of our favorite choices, but we wouldn't steer clear of them altogether.

Costume Super Center has great potential, with hundreds and even thousands of products for any given gender and age group. Their selection is great, pricing is as expected, and the website is easy to browse. Their 15-day return policy comes with a 12% restocking fee and unfortunately, a lot of recent reviews have reported major problems with shipping and quality control issues. We were happy to find a company that offers such a good selection, but we aren't confident that Costume Super Center will deliver good results, so we suggest looking elsewhere for a Halloween costume.

Miccostumes has a unique inventory of Halloween costumes, cosplay costumes, swimsuits, wigs, accessories, shoes, and more. You'll get a wide variety of items you won't easily find in other places here. The problem is that their website doesn't have filter features, so you'll spend quite a bit of time scrolling pages and pages of inventory to (hopefully) find what you are looking for. You only have 5 days to make a return, but the main issue with Miccostumes is that most customers say their orders take weeks to arrive or they never show up at all. We don't trust Miccostumes as a reliable retailer of Halloween costumes.
Find Costume initially appears just like every other Halloween costume site, but we quickly found out they have way more issues. Trying to browse products through their listed categories takes you down a rabbit hole that often leads you to nothing. Tons of their costumes are listed as out-of-stock. Pricing is fair, but you'll need to pay for shipping. Many customers report that they never received the items they purchased and if they did, they were poor quality and looked nothing like the photos online. To try and return a costume will cost you 20% in restocking fees, plus whatever shipping charges are. We are not confident in Find Costume's processes or background whatsoever, so we don't recommend shopping here.
