Short: 1000 Bulbs is a good choice for purchasing light bulbs because they have thousands of options, mostly if you're in the market for LEDs. They don't have a price-match guarantee, but their prices don't seem extravagant. We were disappointed to see that you only get free shipping if you spend at least $500, which seems steep. You'll get 30 days to make returns if you need to and every product description includes plenty of details to make an informed decision. Customers are extremely satisfied with their experience at 1000 Bulbs and they earn an "A+" rating from the Better Business Bureau, so although this isn't our absolute favorite spot for buying light bulbs, it's still a great choice.
Short: Bellacor is a great place to shop for classy, beautiful light fixtures, home furnishings, furniture, or even just ideas for upgrading your spaces. They are a highly-rated company with great reviews from customers and an "A+" rating from the Better Business Bureau. The reason they haven't earned a higher rating from us is due to their small inventory of light bulbs. They only have 340 total, which is dismal compared to the thousands of options from other higher-rated stores. We like Bellacor, but it's not the best for light bulb replacements.

Lights Online has thousands of indoor and outdoor lighting solutions for customers. Where they really shine is through their customer reviews. They have an "A+" rating from the Better Business Bureau and nearly 100% positive feedback from buyers across the board. Unfortunately, they don't really sell light bulbs (except for 6 random types we found through their clearance section). If you just need light bulb replacements, Lights Online won't be a helpful place to look. The company overall is great though, so for any other lighting needs, we wouldn't hesitate to shop here.
Lumens is a home decor and lighting store with modern, trendy products. You could easily get some design inspiration here, but that's where it ends. There are only 207 light bulbs available at Lumens and they are priced quite high. On top of this, you can't return most of them. Lumens has an "A+" rating from the Better Business Bureau, but their customer reviews are mixed. Quite a few people complain about their customer service and say that their orders are delayed or arrive with issues. When you're looking for light bulbs, Lumens shouldn't be one of the first (or second or third) places you go.

If you want to go for a more white light, it will feel more like a natural outdoorsy environment. If you go for a yellower tone, it warms up a space, making you want to cozy up around a piping-hot meal with loved ones. As our eyes differentiate different light throughout the day, it can change our mood and energy levels.
In addition to basic, indoor light bulbs, you should also consider your need for any outdoor lighting for floodlights around your home, a porch light, or even your Christmas lights. It always seems that when one lightbulb goes out, a bunch of others do at the same time, so keeping a list of the types of lighting throughout and around your home and the bulbs you use is a good idea for placing a big order.
