Below each page you'll find descriptions of all the products in paragraph form which businesses used to use to boost SEO ratings to drive traffic to their site. It's not distracting that 1000 Bulbs has this throughout their pages, but it's a little less clean than some other companies we've seen.

Although Bellacor has a huge assortment of products, light bulbs themselves aren't their bread and butter. In all, they only have 340 bulbs. The majority of people who leave feedback for Bellacor typically purchased some type of light fixture or piece of furniture. We didn't find much by way of light bulb purchases, but we can't imagine there would be any issues with these products.

Unimpressive inventory

Bellacor is a great destination for beautiful light fixtures and decor to take your interior and exterior design to the next level. If you are looking for a really basic light bulb or something to replace the bulbs in a light you purchased from the company, go ahead and check out their inventory. However, light bulbs aren't their main priority or product and their inventory is quite small when compared to other places. Because of this, Bellacor isn't one of the first places we'd check when we're needing light bulb replacements.

Lights Online was established in 2009. As their name suggests, they sell all types of lighting like ceiling fans, chandeliers, pendants, lamps, wall lights, exterior lighting, and so much more. The company also has a lot of resources about lighting trends so you can browse through ideas, how-to guides, buying guides, and a frequently-updated blog with the newest and hottest style inspiration.

Here for fixtures, not bulbs

Right off the bat we realized that shopping exclusively for light bulbs at Lights Online was no easy task. They make it easy to find light fixtures by creating categories for different home spaces, styles, finishes, prices, and other details, but even a broad search for "light bulbs” left us with almost no results.

Nearly non-existent selection

If you're shopping at Lights Online, it's for kitchen pendant lighting, lamps, or some other type of decorative lighting, not for bulbs themselves. When we looked for "replacement bulbs” all we could find was a total of 6 light bulbs that were on clearance. They are very basic, some being LED and dimmable, others just plain incandescent bulbs. The cheapest option was a 2-pack for $24.80 and you could get a 12-pack of under cabinet low voltage bulbs for $59.40 as the most expensive choice. In short, you can buy a fixture here, but don't come looking for bulbs afterwards.

If you were able to just buy light bulbs, this would add up to a few free ones, otherwise you might as well put this toward a lighting product if you see one you like. 30-day return for a refund

Lights Online accepts returns in new, unused condition within 30 days of delivery. As long as your item is approved after their return inspection, you'll receive your refund back to the original form of payment. If you're okay with just getting store credit, you have up to 60 days to make a return instead.

As far as company reputation and customer satisfaction go, Lights Online gets a thumbs up. They have an "A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau and excellent reviews from customers. Based on feedback from buyers, Lights Online has fantastic customer service, beautiful and high-quality light fixtures, quick and careful delivery, accommodating policies, and more. We were impressed to find that there are hardly any negative things anywhere online about this company. They are genuinely well-liked and provide a great buying experience.

Don't have what we need

Since we are specifically looking for stores where we can get a wide range of light bulb replacements, Lights Online has earned a low score from us. They really don't have options for buying light bulbs, so we wouldn't come here for that. However, this company is amazing in so many other ways. We would look here in a heartbeat for any type of light fixture since they have an amazing selection and customers are so pleased with the company. However, just in the case of finding light bulbs, Lights Online won't prove useful for anyone.

Small, but decent selection

There are 207 in-stock and ready-to-ship light bulbs at Lumens. The four categories include LEDs, incandescent bulbs, color changing light bulbs, and smart bulbs. To narrow things down further, Lumens has their inventory sorted by bulb shape, base type, color temperature, and CRI. There are quite a few companies that have thousands more light bulb choices than Lumen's, but if you're buying a light fixture from here or just need basic replacements, the selection will likely be enough. If you're needing a light bulb replacement for your oven, cabinets, fridge, or wanting to do indoor growing, Lumens isn't your place.

Expensive light bulbs

We found Lumens to be quite expensive. For example, a single dimmable LED 14 watt white light bulb is $16.99. Through our highest-rated stores, you can get these types of light-bulbs in a multipack for a similar price. The cheapest LED bulb you can get here is $8.99, so we'd say that this store is not cheap by any means. If you want to cut down on your cost here, sign up for texts from Lumens and you'll be able to save $50 on your next order.

Basic product descriptions

For each light bulb listing, you can read unfiltered customer reviews and Q&A comments if there are any. You'll see when you can expect the item to ship (usually 2-3 days), and key features about the light bulb. This includes whether or not it's dimmable, lumens, wattage, CRI, voltage, and more. We thought it was a little odd that all the product images have a banner across them that says, "image may not reflect selected options.” We assume the images are accurate, but this doesn't build our confidence.

Not all bulbs eligible for returns

Although Lumens' standard return policy is 30 days, we noticed that a lot of the light bulbs specifically say they are non-returnable. It isn't clear why some are eligible for returns while others aren't, but be sure to check this before making a purchase. If you are able to make a return, you will need to follow a link on their returns page to get a return shipping label. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your total refund at the end.

Concerning customer reviews

Lumens has a solid "A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau. However, we found quite a few concerning reviews from customers about their experience with this company. A lot of people are upset about poor customer service from Lumens and others say that it takes a much longer time to receive their order than expected. Some customers report paying for expensive light fixtures and having them arrive damaged or with missing light bulbs. Few people had anything to say about light bulbs specifically, though. Overall it seems that it's hit and miss as far as this company's service and the quality of their items go.

Small selection and high prices

Lumens has a lot of modern home decor and lighting options that are fun to look through. However, we don't see a good reason to come straight here for a light bulb replacement. Besides having a fairly small selection, it seems that the bulbs are priced unnecessarily high. Plus, if you can't return the light bulbs, that's an extra disappointment. Lumens isn't one of our highest choices for buying light bulbs.
