You probably won't find a lobster website that's more fun to shop than Lobster Anywhere. When you visit this retailer's online store, be prepared to smile as you read through the product descriptions, instructions for preparing your seafood, and history of the company. Lobster Anywhere offers free shipping on some lobster packages, and there's also a rewards program to earn discounts on future purchases. Customers say very good things about the quality of the seafood here, and there are plenty of reviews on individual products to give you an idea of what you might like best. But, prices tend to be much more expensive than their competitors, especially with steep delivery fees. You might get a better deal for the same meal with a higher-ranked retailer.
Maine Lobster House
Maine Lobster House has some perks, like a rewards program for frequent buyers and special offers for free lobster tails or steak burgers with a minimum spend. But, we found that all of their live lobster options were out of stock, and with no obvious customer satisfaction policy we would hesitate to order lobster from this store.
Maine Lobster Now
Maine Lobster Now could have earned our highest ranking: they offer one of the lowest total prices for two live lobsters -less than $80 with delivery - and an attractive variety of additional items like scallops and chowder. Unfortunately, this retailer got an "F" from the Better Business Bureau, and customer feedback is extremely mixed. You could get an incredible deal on lobster here, but be aware that you're taking your chances on a customer service team that has a less-than-ideal track record for client satisfaction.
