Gift Tree's journey from a dream in an apartment in Key West to a meteoric rise within a year of its start is truly remarkable. Unfortunately, within the last few years, Gift Tree has fallen victim to a lack of innovation, shipping woes, and, even worse, a decline in customer service. In addition, customers consistently complain regarding misrepresentation, saying the baskets on the website are nothing like what is shipped out as a gift. We loved Gift Tree in the past - its website was innovative for its time - but sadly, the new website and social media channels don't engender trust.
