There is quite a range of products offered by SpinLife to help people with mobility in all different ways. Their inventory includes scooters, power wheelchairs, lift chairs, wheelchairs, beds, patient lifts, vehicle lifts, and accessories. The company boasts that their product experts have a combined 250 years of experience and they're always available to help people find the right equipment for their needs. If you want to take some time on your own to get educated on the ins and outs of mobility products and what to look for, SpinLife has created SpinLife University with dozens of helpful articles to ensure customers feel confident in the online shopping experience.
Easily find your top choices
SpinLife has so many categories of mobility scooters. Right off the bat, you can select options from a dropdown menu they provide that asks if you're looking for a scooter for frequent use, travel/portable, full-size, or recreational/all-terrain. Then you'll select your weight category and right away be shown a more honed-in list of mobility scooters that match your criteria. You could also choose to filter the big selection by category, brand, price range, user weight, drive range, max speed, ground clearance, and suspension if you already know your preferences for these.
Best website
We found that SpinLife seems to be the most helpful company for customers shopping online as far as providing detailed descriptions of the different features on their scooters and helping people understand the pros/cons between them. We really like the layout of their product listings with lots of pictures of the scooter from different angles and even folded up (if applicable). It's easy to identify all the color choices (there are as many as 6 on some models), and quickly browse key features. If we were looking at website user-friendliness alone, SpinLife would earn our #1 rating.
Lots of options under $1,000
The majority of mobility scooters here are priced under $1,000. The next biggest price range is $2,000 - $3,000, and then over $3,000. The cheapest scooter sold through SpinLife is $698 and the most expensive is $6,999. You'll always get less features, a lighter weight capacity, and a shorter battery range when you go with the least expensive mobility scooters. On the higher end you might get a front windshield, faster speeds, digital displays, better suspension, and more. Depending on how often and for how long you plan to use your mobility scooter, you could adjust your budget. All mobility scooters ship for free from SpinLife since they don't charge delivery fees for orders over $50.
110% price match guarantee
There is a 110% price match guarantee in place through SpinLife that says if you find an identical item for less somewhere else at the time of purchase, you can let them know and they'll discount their price by 110% of the difference. So for example, if you found an identical item for $100 less somewhere else, they'd lower the price by $110.
30-day returns and restocking fees
If you need to make a return for some reason, SpinLife will allow this within 30 days of delivery. Be sure to check the return policy on your specific scooter since their policy does mention that scooters and powerchairs with custom add-ons are non-returnable. All other scooters are subject to a 20% - 25% restocking fee and the customer will need to pay the return shipping fee. There is an online return authorization form you can use to initiate your return or you could reach the company by phone or email. From there, you'll need to ship back your mobility scooter within 14 days.
Hundreds of customer reviews
SpinLife has a top "A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau. We were also thrilled to see that many of their mobility scooters don't just have a few customer reviews, but hundreds. People were able to give a rating out of 5 stars and add comments about the strengths, weaknesses, and other user details that would be relevant for prospective buyers. We were impressed with how much information we gained from these comments and found most of the ratings to be extremely high.
Don't skip this store
When shopping for a mobility scooter, don't skip over SpinLife. They've got a great inventory of all types of mobility scooters, competitive pricing, a standard return policy, lifetime warranties on many of their products, and honest customer reviews. We're excited about what this company has to offer, so they've earned one of our top ratings.
We often take the ability to walk and run for granted. When you get an injury and need a knee replacement, develop severe arthritis, or find that aging has taken its toll on your ability to walk long distances, it may feel like your life has to come to a standstill. After all, simply getting around the house, running basic errands, or going on a dream vacation all require being able to get to and from independently.
If you're limited in your ability to walk around comfortably, you may be wondering how to get a sense of normalcy back and move forward in life (pun intended). Mobility scooters are a fantastic (and fun) way to reclaim your independence and productivity. There are all types of scooters for both indoor and outdoor terrain as well as different designs to fit your style.
There are a range of features you can look for on a mobility scooter like 3 or 4 wheels, LED safety lights, upgraded suspension, oversized baskets and more. Do you need one that can easily fit in and out of your vehicle? How long will you need it to go on a single charge?
Some scooters have weight maximums, so pay close attention to that detail too. It may help to jot down a list of all the most important features you need your mobility scooter to come with before you jump online, so that you know exactly what to be searching for.
Since mobility scooters have become increasingly popular over the years, you'll find that there are quite a few retailers to choose from. These companies usually arrange their selection by 3- or 4-wheel scooters, travel scooters, heavy-duty scooters, accessories, lifts, trailers, and more. Ideally you'll find a retailer that lets you filter by price so you can easily identify all the choices within your budget. You'll want to shop from a reputable store that gives every detail you'd want to know before spending a few thousand dollars on a mobility scooter.
We've done a lot of the important research regarding some of the best online retailers that sell mobility scooters and recommend keeping the following things in mind when you're shopping:
