If you wish you had an on-call personal trainer to help you run faster, stretch longer, or just move more effectively, Aaptiv should be on your list when choosing an online fitness program. This app is strictly audio, with coached workouts ranging from race training to basic yoga and much more, with thousands to choose from and dozens of new workouts added weekly. Although you won't get video demos or nutritional guidance with Aaptiv, this affordable app is a great answer to the question "What should I do?" when you hit the gym, go for a run, or just want to get stronger at home.
Fitness Blender gives you access to more than 500 coached workout videos - for free. And, if you create a complimentary account, you'll be able to add favorite workouts to your Fitness Blender calendar too. This online fitness program doesn't come with an app, though, and their meal plans are less robust than some of the programs we evaluated. However, check out the before-and-after photos on the site to see for yourself that Fitness Blender works very well for many users of the platform.
