If you have a big property and are looking for complete sets to accent different areas of your outdoor space, RST Brands has some of the biggest sets we've found. There is a 16-piece estate collection that comes with lounge chairs, a dining set, and a conversation set with ottomans, a coffee table, a sofa, and side chairs. They have long outdoor dining tables that seat at least 8 people comfortably or smaller ones for just a couple of people.

Choose your fabric and color

When you select a dining set, chair, lounger, or table, you'll be shown quite a few fabrics you can choose from. Many items have at least 11 colors to choose from and when you hover over each one, you'll see a description of the color and the features of the fabric, like how easy it is to clean, if it's stain resistant, if it gets bleached in the sun, if it's water resistant, and more. We like that you can find a basic product that you like and then have tons of options for the style you prefer.

Really detailed descriptions

RST Brands has a great website where they offer tons of details about each item. Aside from color options, you'll see lots of different photos of the item, warranty information (usually 1 year from the date of purchase), read honest customer reviews and view their photos, learn about the item's features, weight capacity (if applicable), dimensions, and detailed tips on how to care for it. We like that RST Brands is really transparent about what they sell and it gives us a lot of confidence about making a purchase.

Reasonable pricing

The company offers free shipping on all orders and most products should arrive at your home via standard shipping in 7-10 business days. When we shopped at RST Brands, there were tons of items marked down significantly. Given the quality and how highly-rated their outdoor furniture is, we expected this to be another expensive retailer. However, we felt that everything here was actually really reasonably priced. You can get a nice 9-piece polyester dining set for $1,499.99, an outdoor fire pit bar set for $5,599 that seats 6 people, a pretty set of outdoor chairs for $979, a barstool set for $192, or an adjustable 10' umbrella for $699.99. We wouldn't say this is a really cheap place to shop, but it seems like you're getting durable furniture that will last a really long time for a price that seems fair.

If you're trying to stick to a budget, you could slowly buy outdoor furniture piece-by-piece until you have a full set. Maybe you get the table and two chairs, then add more chairs as time goes on and accessorize later with a rug and lighting. We found a circular outdoor dining table on clearance for just $269.99 and chairs for as little as $399.99 for a set of 2. Otherwise you could buy a full set with a long table, side bench, and 4 or so chairs for a little over $3,000. The size, material, and pieces in a set will determine the price. We found a small set of 4 chairs with a table for $609 which would probably be doable for most people. With outdoor furniture it's so easy to mix and match to get the design you want within the budget you've set.

Some fun items we found shopping at Ashley include an outdoor swing chair that comes in gray and brown for $431.99. They've got 10' outdoor umbrellas for $171.99 that come in a range of colors. There are turtle garden statues, gnome statues, outdoor vases, wall decor, tower patio heaters for $218.99, and our personal favorite - a standing porch swing for $216.99. These are fun to browse to add a splash of personality to your space.

Price matching

Ashley has a price-match guarantee on their products, but that may only be available for its items you can buy through other big-name online retail stores. If you find an identical product with the same SKU, model, size, brand, name, and color, you can request a price match via the online chat to see if the product qualifies. If so, you'll be credited for the lowest price and also get a promo code for 10% off your next purchase, which is pretty generous.

Free shipping and 30-day returns

Hundreds of products, well organized

When you set out to transform your outdoor space and visit Totally Furniture, you can choose between tables, sets, chairs, benches, sofas, daybeds, and outdoor storage options. Their website makes it easy to view the hundreds of products in each category and everything is organized to show similar items close together so you can easily compare them all. Some styles are really basic and plain while others have pretty details and upholstery to brighten up your space. Totally Furniture is a good in-between option for people who don't want expensive luxury items, but also want sturdy and pretty outdoor furniture to create a unique design.

Solid product listings

Each product page shows you the full item name, price, product number and manufacturer part, if it's in-stock and when it's estimated to ship, where it ships from, a series of photos, product features and dimensions, and a little bio about the brand behind the item you're viewing. We like how it's laid out and feel like there is plenty of information to go off of when shopping online here.

Narrow down your price range

Every category of items lists a price range off to the side, so you can see the low and high end of that item. For example, when we selected tables, we were shown that the price range is between $60.33 and $691.33. You can use a sliding bar feature to select the price range you want to stay between and only view the tables that fit that requirement. Chairs range from $105.33 to $708.99, and sofas range from $248.99 to $4,824.99. As you can see, there's a decent range for all these products, so you can easily find something in the lower or higher range depending on your needs.

High shipping costs

We noticed that a lot of products are on sale at Totally Furniture. There wasn't a sitewide sale going on when we were shopping and they don't offer a discount code if you sign up for their email list. However, overall their prices seem reasonable so even without a sale we wouldn't hesitate to buy something here. The one factor that could make your purchase a little more expensive is shipping. This is calculated at checkout based on the items you're buying and where you live. We were interested in a set of 2 upholstered teak patio chairs for $705.99. When we went to checkout, our shipping cost was an additional $72.01. This feels like a lot just for shipping, so watch out for this.

Short return window

Another bummer about shopping at Totally Furniture is that they have a really small return window. If you change your mind about your items, you have to send them back within 7 days and you're responsible for the cost of return shipping. This is tricky because we know that life happens and sometimes it takes a while to get around to doing a return. If you pass that week mark, you're stuck with furniture you didn't want and you're out a few hundred dollars. In addition, Totally Furniture lists quite a few brands in their return policy that don't allow returns at all. We highly suggest checking this before making a purchase because there are quite a few brands listed and it is important to know if you're buying a final sale item.

Show us reviews

One thing missing from Totally Furniture is customer reviews. This is a big one for us because we feel like it's a way for companies to show that they are confident in the products they sell and aren't worried about what customers will report back about them. It also gives valuable information for other shoppers to refer to before making a purchase. At least the Better Business Bureau gives Totally Furniture an "A+” rating and the third-party ratings we found were mostly positive. People say orders arrive as promised, pricing is competitive, and the customer service department is friendly.

Worth checking out

We can get on board with Totally Furniture. We like their selection of pretty, simple outdoor furniture and the pricing seems reasonable. The shipping costs, on the other hand, are another story. Where some companies offer free shipping on outdoor furniture, it seems painful to pay nearly $100 to have your items delivered. But maybe that's the trade-off for low product prices. Their return policy is also pretty short, so be prepared to make a quick decision and act fast if you change your mind about what you buy here. Aside from this, Totally Furniture seems trustworthy and has a big inventory, so it's worth checking out what they have. They've earned a good rating from us.

Overstock is a fabulous place to look for any type of home furnishing item. This is because of their massive selection and low pricing. For outdoor furniture alone, there are over 44,500 results. This includes things like patio awnings, outdoor storage boxes, bird feeders, outdoor rugs, sectionals, chairs, firepits, pathway lights, side tables, garden boxes, outdoor fans, chairs, and hundreds of other items. That seems to cover it all, right?

Sort by price

You can sort Overstock's impressive online inventory by price range, color, brand, style, material, finish, type, and sale. Something that has made Overstock such a big, popular brand is their low pricing. It's not uncommon to find hundreds of items that are marked down at competitive prices. We found a huge outdoor sunbed canopy on sale for $349.15, which seemed like a good deal. You can get a 5-piece patio furniture set for just $798, a set of two Adirondack chairs for $107, big sofa and table sets for under $1,000, and side tables for under $50. There's a big price range here since their selection is so big, so set your price range and you'll find a comfortable range of options that you can afford.

Free shipping over $49.99

Orders over $49.99 receive free standard shipping at Overstock, and anything under this benchmark just costs $6.99 to ship. The company says that most standard orders ship within 1-2 days, but your final shipping costs and estimated delivery date will be calculated at checkout. Some customers complain that it takes much longer than they expected for their items to arrive, however.

Initiate returns within 30 days

If your outdoor furniture doesn't work out, you can initiate a return within 30 days of delivery. The products will be inspected upon arrival and need to be in new, unused condition, and in their original packaging with all accessories. The one redeeming thing about Overstock is that they have unfiltered customer reviews on their outdoor furniture selections. Some don't have any, but many of their popular items have hundreds of reviews. These individual product reviews are much higher than feedback customers give about the company overall, so if you find a piece of furniture here you like that has a lot of great buyer feedback, it might be worth giving it a shot.

Hope for the future

We've personally had good experiences shopping at Overstock in the past, so we're sad to give them a lower-than-ideal rating, but they've had major changes over the last year and a half. We would wait to shop here until they've gotten back on their feet. Hopefully in the next few months (or years?), Overstock will be able to smooth out their processes and show that they are a trustworthy, helpful company that offers high quality items and follows through with their deliveries. In the meantime, this isn't the first place we'd look for outdoor furniture, so look at the higher-ranked retailers on our list first.

The company provides holiday gift ideas and also allows customers to browse their newest arrivals, seasonal specials, and shop exclusively for their products that are made in the USA.

Come for the hammocks

Some of the main products sold at DFOhome are hammocks. It's the first category you can browse and they've got over 160 options. They've got rope hammocks, quilted hammocks, camping/portable hammocks, hammock chairs, hammocks for under $100, accessories, stands, and more. If this is something you're interested in having in your yard, DFOhome is a fantastic place to find a big selection. The website lists a selection of rugs, but when you try to view them, you're just sent to a page with more hammocks. They've got a small selection of outdoor curtains, some pillows, umbrellas, and swings. DFOhome has a small and really unique-looking selection of fire pits as well.

Basic and functional

The patio furniture at DFOhome is really basic-looking. A lot of the choices are Adirondack-style, so they're not necessarily cushy or pretty either. They work well for a basic, functional, all-weather look, but you won't find a lot of fun patterns. Of the sofas available, the cushions only come in navy blue or white. There's a single lounger you can buy in a variety of colors, 8 rockers, and 12 results for sofas and deep seating. Overall the amount of options you have here are really slim compared to other outdoor furniture retailers we've seen.

Plain and expensive

Considering there aren't tons of well-rounded outdoor furniture choices here and many of them are plain looking, we feel like DFOhome is a little pricey. A single Adirondack chair is $449.99 and we've definitely found these much cheaper elsewhere. A rope chair is $619.99, an outdoor love seat is $1,499.99, and a simple coffee table is $574.99. The most expensive thing you might find here is a 6-piece set for $5,759. Hammocks come in a wide range of prices since some are made of rope, some are made of fabric, and some are travel hammocks. These all range from $29.99 to $300, which seems reasonable.

Useful product descriptions

DFOhome ships orders for free, which is a great perk. Every item has a long description to accompany it with insightful features, details, and specifications. This website leaves nothing to the imagination, so we like that you know exactly what you're ordering when you shop here. They also let customers leave reviews on the items. Those are hit-and-miss since some of them don't have any feedback, but it's always nice to see what people have to say on the ones that do.

60-day return policy

We were pleased to find that DFOhome has a longer return policy than most places. Rather than just having 30 days to send back items you change your mind about, DFOhome gives you a 60-day window. Customers should contact customer service to get a return authorization number before sending anything back. Despite our reservations with their inventory and pricing, DFOhome has sky-high customer reviews. Outside of their "A+” Better Business Bureau rating, people are really pleased with this company. Many people actually believe they have competitive prices, their customer service is phenomenal, and their products are high quality. We have found many great things about DFOhome on third-party sites, which is useful since the "testimonials” link on DFOhome's own website is a blank page. If you are just looking for plain, simple, durable furniture, that's what you'll get from DFOhome. Your best bet is just to shop for hammocks here, since that's clearly their bread and butter. We like that they offer 60-day returns and free shipping, but their website has some issues and we're not totally impressed with the style and selection of all their outdoor furniture. DFOhome isn't our favorite shop, but they've earned an average rating from us.

Small, basic selection

If you shop exclusively for patio furniture from Serenity Health & Home Decor, you'll find a range of options, mostly made by the Sunnydaze brand. There are only 92 products in total (and quite a few of these are out-of-stock) and unless you narrow down by the patio furniture accessory, patio seating, patio set, or patio table categories, you can just scroll through the mix of benches, side tables, rocking chairs, lounge chairs, drink holders, and bistro tables they have.

Functional, not comfortable

Some retailers have a big selection of products to fit different styles. The outdoor furniture from Serenity Health & Home Decor doesn't have a wide range of design. Everything here is plain, some of them even in an outdated-looking style. Not many of their chairs or benches have cushions, but rather they're mostly a brown wood color or a black or white wicker without any upholstery. If you're just needing something functional and don't plan on lounging and spending a lot of time relaxing on the furniture you're buying, the inventory here would work. Nothing really looks comfortable to us, though.

Simple product descriptions

Just for fun, we viewed a Sunnydaze 3-piece teak outdoor folding bistro set that came with 2 chairs and 1 table. There were a few photos to show different views and an up-close look of the stain color. There was a brief description included, plus dimensions and a few other basic features. Sunnydaze offers a 1-year manufacturer's warranty on all their products, so this was listed as well. Otherwise, there weren't a lot of details about the product. We like when companies include care instructions so we know what type of maintenance we can expect for the item we're buying, but that isn't listed anywhere on Serenity Health & Home Decor's site.

Same-day shipping

Some items are available and ready to ship out same-day if you order by 2 pm CST. If you miss this window, most items will ship out the next day. Shipping is free throughout the United States, which is great. When your furniture arrives, you can initiate a return if needed within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping charges will apply and you'll need to send the outdoor furniture back in its original condition and packaging.

Reasonable prices

Since much of the furniture here is simple and without fanciful detailing, the prices aren't bad. You can get a 59” solid teak bench with a light brown finish for $379. A similar style of bench, but only 47” long and with storage, is $279. A 5-piece teak outdoor patio set is $575, or a 5-piece bistro table and chairs is $715. Serenity Health & Home Decor sells Adirondack chairs in sets of 2 for $215. Overall everything seems to be reasonably priced, so maybe you could order your own cushions separately from somewhere else and add them if you want to turn the products here into something bright and more comfortable.

Possible price-matching

In the company's "About Us” bio, they say that they offer a price-match guarantee. Nowhere else on the website does it outline the details of this, but if you do happen to find a Sunnydaze item that matches exactly what you find here at another retailer for a lower price, you could try calling their customer service to see if they'd honor the competitor's price.

Lacking reviews

We really wish that Serenity Health & Home Decor had unfiltered customer reviews on their site. We'd like to know how high-quality the furniture is here, how fast delivery is, if customer service is generally easy to work with, and other critical details that customers tend to have big opinions about. High-end brands

There are nearly 500 outdoor furniture items to browse on Horchow's website. There are only three categories of products: outdoor seating, outdoor collections, and outdoor tables. Their products are made by high-end brands or custom artisans like Bernhardt Exteriors, Four Hands, Magnolia Casual, Palecek, Polywood, Sunset West, and others. If you have a designer you love, you can shop their collections or choose to browse Horchow's inventory by type, material, and sustainability.

Unique styles

The majority of outdoor items here fall into the chair and table category. They also have a splash of other items like benches, fireplaces, planters, sectionals, stools, and settees, but there are only a handful of each of these. The types of chairs range from woven hanging chairs to loungers to counter stools and dining chairs. The styles of these give us "boho oasis” vibes and would make for a beautiful coastal aesthetic. They have very unique styles that you definitely won't find anywhere else. Their tables are equally unique, coming in abstract shapes, sizes, and materials. They have some coffee tables, end tables, pedestal tables, side tables, and dining tables.

Luxury comes with a price

At Horchow, you're getting beautiful luxury items, so you should expect to pay a bit more for them. You might pay around $500 for an end table and up to $20,000 for a large rectangular dining table. A single swivel lounge chair is between $6,000 and $7,000. A single outdoor ottoman is listed at $195 and dining chairs are over $500. A metal upholstered sectional costs around $4,500 and you could get an accent fountain for between $500 and $1,000. If you're starting from scratch and buying all your outdoor furniture here, you could spend tens of thousands of dollars without trying too hard.

Wild shipping costs

At the time of this review, Horchow was offering up to 30% off many of their items for a seasonal sale. They also will send you a 15% off code if you sign up for their email list. For anyone interested in shopping here, it would absolutely be worth doing this to save a few hundred (or thousand) dollars. Shipping can be really expensive, so you'll have to factor that into your overall cost. We viewed an 18” stool and the shipping was $130, most likely because it is made of stone and quite heavy. Some sofas cost around $295 to ship, and some chairs were around $165. Yikes! When we were shopping, Horchow was offering free shipping on qualifying orders over $100, but this might not always be happening, so you could end up paying for shipping on all your items other times of the year.

Call for furniture returns

Horchow has a 30-day return policy as long as you send back your merchandise in the same condition you received it. A phone number is provided for people who are planning to return furniture and they say they'll assist you from there. We assume you'll be responsible for return shipping, and we can't imagine spending hundreds to have it delivered in the first place and then hundreds to send it back. If you shop here, triple-check your measurements and design plans so you can avoid dealing with returns if possible.

Ugly customer reviews

When you shop at a store like Horchow, you want to make sure that you're getting high-quality items and that you are going to be able to work with helpful, kind customer service team members. You'll spend so much money here that you won't want to take any risks. The Better Business Bureau gives Horchow an "A+” rating, but that's about the best review we found anywhere. Horchow doesn't let customers leave reviews on their website, which is really disappointing. On third-party platforms, they also have some nasty feedback from buyers who say that it takes forever for orders to arrive (sometimes months) and others say that after a short time, their items start to fall apart. When people contact customer service, it seems that they don't always follow through with fixing issues like they claim they will, and customers have to fight for weeks or months to resolve problems.

Would like to see improvement

We are tempted to give Horchow a high rating just based on their lovely selection of outdoor furniture. This is definitely not your boring, same-old-furniture store. They really do have beautiful pieces that would create a dreamy outdoor space. However, we realize that the prices of the furniture here are likely way out of many people's budgets and aren't realistic. On top of this, we would never suggest spending this much money when you may not receive your items for months and could end up with low-quality items that don't live up to your expectations. Most subcategories have around 30 options, which is impressive.

High-end products and prices

We warned you early on that Frontera is a luxury retailer. This means that their prices aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination. A Kingsley Bate 9-piece dining ensemble is $6,155. A very basic 3-piece recycled plastic set with 2 chairs and a small table is $1,470. Any dining or patio sets that seat 4 or more people will be at least a few thousand dollars. A 3-person aluminum sofa costs $2,769, gas fire pits start at $1,824, and large adjustable umbrellas start at $1,141. Prices are heavily dependent on the materials that items are made of and how many parts come with them, but since you're buying name-brand items here, a full patio makeover could cost a pretty penny.

Less than ideal return policy

Returns to Frontera can be made if you contact customer service within 7 days of receiving your order. If you're making a return that isn't due to damage or a warranty issue, you'll be subject to a hefty 20% restocking fee on top of the cost of return shipping. The company allows customers to request free wood/stain samples and leather/fabric swatches before making a purchase so they can see colors and texture in-person. Frontera highly recommends that people do this so they can avoid having to make a return at all.

Unfortunate customer reviews

A host of 5-star resorts, hotels, and country clubs around the world use Frontera's furniture. This should tell you the quality you would be getting. However, quite a few third-party reviewers would disagree. There are reports of people spending thousands of dollars here, only to receive damaged items. People say their customer service is a pain to deal with and refuses to correct issues. Some people didn't receive any of their order, or only a partial shipment was delivered. There are a few scattered positive reviews amidst all the bad ones, but most of what we read made us really nervous to spend the amount of money we would be forking out to shop here. The Better Business Bureau hasn't rated Frontera either, which isn't helpful at all. The company does allow customers to leave reviews on their items, but we found that most of them didn't have any feedback.

Pros and cons

Overall we feel mixed emotions about Frontera. On one hand, we like the idea of a company that makes really high-end outdoor furniture since it often takes a beating through all different seasons and weather year after year. If you're going to spend money on outdoor furniture, you might as well spend a bit more and find something pretty that will last a long time. However, their return policy isn't great and we'd feel stuck if we changed our mind about any product we ordered here. We are also concerned about customer feedback and don't feel comfortable making a purchase at this point. The company could work to get a Better Business Bureau rating and encourage more customer reviews in order to build trust with us and other customers for the future. They haven't earned one of our best ratings in the meanwhile.

Unlike some other companies, Design Furnishings doesn't offer any type of indoor furniture. Rather, they have a selection of outdoor furnishings, accessories, and fire pits. We wish the company would give a bio about themselves so we knew how long they'd been in business, how the idea for the company was born, and what their values are. Instead, we can only see the products they offer.

Odd photos and small inventory

One of our first impressions of Design Furnishings was that a lot of their photos look like they were AI-generated. Rather than pictures of real furniture in a real environment, everything looks computer-created. Their "Outdoor Seating and Patio Chairs” category has 27 results. But their patio dining sets led us to a blank page without any products. They have 3 fire pits to choose from, 7 (boring) styles of pillows, and 15 types of barstools. In short, the inventory here is really hit-or-miss. It doesn't seem like the company is adding to their selection much and we wonder if they are trying to sell off their inventory.

Pricey furniture

Even though there is a small selection of products here and the photos don't seem real, the prices are quite high. One of the first items we found was a 13-piece wicker patio set for $4,459.99. The least expensive choice is a 7-piece set for $2,689.99. The cost of 4 simple-looking barstools without a back is $449.99 and only goes up from there. Fire pits start at $689.99 and 2 tiny throw pillows are $40. These prices aren't completely crazy, but they're not cheap either. We'd like to know more about the company and see better photos of the products before believing that they are worth the cost.

Free but slow shipping on all orders

On the bright side, Design Furnishings provides free shipping on all orders within the United States. At the time of this review, the company had an alert saying they were making improvements to "enhance your experience” and in the meantime it was causing shipping delays of 2-3 weeks.

Standard return policy

Design Furnishings lets customers send back their outdoor furniture within 30 days of delivery for a refund. You'll be responsible for the cost of return shipping and the items need to arrive at their warehouse within 45 days of purchase. The items need to be in original packaging including parts, accessories, manuals, and any documents that were included. To begin a return, Design Furnishings has provided a phone number and email address for you to contact and receive further information.

Scant reviews

The Better Business Bureau gives Design Furnishings an "A+” rating. This is nice, but it doesn't carry as much weight as customer reviews would. Design Furnishings has a very basic website and does not include any feedback from buyers about their products. This is disappointing since it might give us some insight into their quality and even allow us to see photos people upload of the furniture to give us an idea of how it really looks. They have few reviews on third-party sites and we don't completely trust this company with our money because of it.

Not impressed

There's nothing we are impressed by at Design Furnishings, so we wouldn't recommend risking a purchase there. For all we know, you'd place an order that would never arrive or it would look nothing like the fake pictures on their website. There are other outdoor furniture companies we've researched that we have a lot of trust in, so look into these instead.
