RST Brands is the place to shop if you love design - or if you have no idea what to look for! From the moment you visit the website, you'll be stunned by the vibrant colors, trendy designs, and all of the possibilities for your outdoor space.
One cool perk offered by RST Brands is the ability to connect with a design consultant, either by calling their toll-free number (877-203-5972) or using the online contact form. You'll need to take a picture or two of the space you're looking to furnish, measure the space or estimate the dimensions you'll need, and then decide on your budget! Consultants are available Monday through Friday during standard business hours, Mountain Standard Time.
When we visited the site, there was a pop-up offering a 7% discount on our entire purchase, no strings attached. Usually, these types of offers come with a requirement to sign up for an email newsletter - given that many people would rather not have to receive emails just to get a discount, we like RST Brands' approach.
RST Brands also offers financing through their partner, Affirm. Rates vary from 10-30% APR, depending on your credit history, but you can check your eligibility without impacting your credit score.
Although there was no specific information on the site, it appears that shipping on most items is free at RST Brands. We added several products to our cart, including large patio sets, and each time it said there would be no charge for shipping. We would have liked to see their shipping policy spelled out more directly, to eliminate any confusion for shoppers.
The return policy is relatively standard among retailers of outdoor furniture: items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, as long as they are in unused, resalable condition. RST Brands does not charge a restocking fee on returns, but you will be required to pay for the cost of the return shipping.
RST Brands also maintained an A+ rating as an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau at the time of our review. While there were a few recent customer complaints on the retailer's Facebook page, mostly regarding issues with customer service, RST Brands has a generally positive reputation.
The only drawback we found to shopping for outdoor furniture at RST Brands is the selection: if you're looking for low-end plastic chairs or even wood Adirondacks, you're probably not going to find it here.
Despite this slightly limited selection, we give RST Brands a good rating particularly for their attention to design and complimentary design consultant services.
There's nothing quite like sitting out on your patio in the evening, enjoying a cool breeze and a beautiful sunset while relaxing on comfortable, stylish furniture. Whether your style tends towards the super-casual, like hammocks and Adirondack chairs, or you prefer a sleek, modern look, having the right outdoor furniture can make all the difference between an unused patio or backyard and your own personal relaxation-and-entertainment zone.
What should you buy for your outdoor furniture? Naturally, the answer depends on what you have in mind. Are you looking for chaise lounges to put next to your pool, or a patio set for serving cocktails and appetizers? Outdoor furniture isn't limited just to seating: most retailers also carry chimineas and fire pit tables both for ambience and heating purposes, shades and curtains for privacy and protection from the sun, even swings just for the fun of it.
As you think about what you need to make your ideal outdoor space, you'll want to give some consideration to what materials are used. By design, most outdoor furniture is designed to be weather-resistant, but some materials can withstand heat, cold, rain and snow easily, while others will need to be moved indoors during times of more extreme temperatures.
You may be surprised to know that buying patio furniture and other outdoor items is often easier and more affordable when you shop online. Even on large, bulky things like lounge chairs and tables, many retailers offer free shipping, saving you the hassle of having to drive around town to find what you need - and then hoping that it will fit in your car for the ride home! What should you look for when choosing an online store for your outdoor furniture? Keep these criteria in mind:
