Pajamas are arguably the best type of clothing money can buy. They meet the highest criteria for apparel by being comfortable, stretchy, and cozy. Usually, you think of sleeping in pajamas, but let's all be honest with ourselves here. Don't we want to wear pajamas all day long? Maybe if everyone can agree that it's socially acceptable, pajamas can become the new business casual. All in favor?
Whether the nights are hot or chilly, you can find pajamas that are either lightweight and breathable, or thick and warm. Pajamas might have short sleeves, long sleeves, shorts, or pants. They are usually two pieces, but sometimes just one. What adult doesn't secretly want to wear a cozy onesie every once in a while? They might be made of silk or cotton, fleece or bamboo. No matter your style or preferred temperature, you'll be able to find pajamas you never want to take off!

Pajama Mania is a great store for buying women's pajamas. They have an impressive selection of styles in a wide range of colors and patterns. Pajama Mania is extremely affordable, with most sets costing $30 or less and shipping is free. They are one of the few stores that allow customers to leave reviews for individual items, which is helpful for buying the right size you need. Pajama Mania is a fantastic place to shop for pajamas and gets our highest recommendation.
BedHead sells high-quality pajamas made of organically-grown cotton. They are committed to sustainability as well as providing unique, comfortable pajamas. You'll spend more at BedHead than you might at other pajama stores, but it will be well worth the cost. You'll find amazing prints and styles for the whole family and customers are overall very happy with their purchases here. BedHead is a fun place to shop for pajamas!
The Cat's Pajamas is a store for women who don't just like the look of luxury, but want the feeling of it as well. Their fabrics include pima knit and luxe pima from Peru, flannel, voile, and poplin. Pajama sets are in the $100 range and come in beautiful styles of florals, stripes, solids, polka dots, and more. The selection of pajamas for women at The Cat's Pajamas is impressive and customers are happy with their purchases.
Pajama City sells mostly one-piece pajamas for men, women, and kids. They are great for holidays, matching with the family, or dressing up for Halloween and cosplay. They have funny themes ranging from animals to popular movies like Star Wars. Most pajamas cost between $60 and $70 and you'll get free shipping if you spend over $50. You won't find a good selection of normal, everyday-wear pajamas at Pajama City, but it's worth a look if you want a fun one-piece for an event.
The Pajama Company offers fun styles of pajamas in a wide range of styles and fabrics for men, women, and children. We aren't impressed with their outdated website and we were shocked to see that they were one of the most expensive pajama stores we've seen. On top of this, their shipping costs start at $11.50 for single items and increase the more you buy. People are probably happy and comfortable with the pajamas they purchase from The Pajama Company, but we aren't sure they are worth the cost and their inventory seems to be low for a lot of products.
Sleepyheads is a small store that specializes in family Christmas pajamas. You can buy matching styles for men, women, children, infants, and even dogs, cats, or dolls. You won't find pajamas for men or children here unless they come in one of their matching family sets. The rest of their selection is just for women and doesn't have much to offer. Although the prices are very affordable, you'll only find a few styles of pajamas here, so it's not the ideal place to shop.
PajamaGram specializes in selling pajamas for people to gift to others. The idea is to select pajamas based on a holiday or event, add on some accessories like a lavender lotion or slippers, and ship off your pretty package to a loved one. They have a good selection of pajamas, but between their pricing and shipping costs, you'll spend quite a bit here. PajamaGram has mixed reviews from customers, so we aren't overly excited about recommending this retailer as a top pajama shop.
There aren't a lot of brick-and-mortar stores that specialize only in selling pajamas. Most people probably haven't ever seen one before, let alone been to one. That's where the handy dandy internet comes in! There are some great pajama stores that give you a dreamy (pun intended!) selection of pj's to fit your style, comfort needs, and budget. You can also compare prices and styles between stores for the best deals.
