In the women's category, there were over 130 options, easily sorted by fabric, size, color, print, price, or style. For families, BedHead PJs had seven different designs on offer during our visit: Alpine Fair Isle, Forest Friends, Backcountry Bears (so cute!), Eternal Blooms, Dachshund, Through the Snow, Fairytale Forest, and Berry Bliss. Not every design has options for the gents - let's be real about the fact that our menfolk probably would refuse to suffer through a photo shoot wearing pajamas with strawberries all over them - but in the patterns that do have them, we appreciate that there are multiple styles (like a solid color henley top with patterned bottoms OR a classic top/bottom in the same print).

Sensitive to certain fabrics? Not sure about the washing instructions? BedHead PJs gives you everything you need to know on each product's page, from materials and measurements (sleeve length, inseam) to product care. Figure on needing to wash most of your jammies from this store in cold water on the gentle cycle, with a tumble dry on low.

Most of the pajama options here are priced between $88 and $120, so keep an eye out for discount offers as you browse the BedHead PJs site. During our last visit to the online store, we got a 15% savings on any full-price purchase when we signed up for their email list. And, no matter when you shop, you'll always get free shipping if you spend over $150 (which is pretty easy to do here).

Think you might become a frequent shopper at BedHead PJs? If so, it's worth it to sign up for their Insiders loyalty program. It's free to join, and besides earning points on every purchase, it'll get you access to some perks like a free birthday gift, early access to sales and events, and 15% off during seasonal promotions. As soon as you spend $500 in a year, you're upgraded to the Trendsetter tier: included in this loyalty level are free returns by mail, 20% savings during special events, and gifts to welcome you and at your "anniversary” of joining, plus free standard shipping on every order. Spend at least $1500 in a year, and BedHead PJs will designate you a "superstar”: free expedited shipping, 25% savings during special events, and all the perks of the first two tiers.

Current customer reviews are mostly 5 stars

Shopper (or sleeper?) feedback for BedHead PJs itself is a little love/hate. On the one hand, the pajama store's reputation is good enough to earn an "A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau; there were zero complaints filed there over the last year, so obviously this isn't an online retailer that's disappointing people left and right. But, the contrast between reviews left on Trustpilot (averaging 1.8 stars across 500+ ratings) and Google (averaging 4.6 stars across 300+ ratings) is striking - and a little confusing. Here's the good news: the comments and ratings on Trustpilot are fairly old (we're talking mostly 2018 and earlier), while Google's were from the last few months. Those customers raved about the quality of the fabrics, the delightfulness of the prints, and the excellent service received from BedHead PJs' reps. So, we feel pretty safe concluding that whatever the deal was with Trustpilot's reviewers, it has nothing to do with what BedHead PJS is doing now.

Easy (and free) in-person returns

And, if you get your PJs delivered and they're not to your liking when you try them on, you'll have 30 days to return them for a refund. BedHead PJs takes advantage of the Happy Returns network, which lets you send your pajamas back at no cost to you (and most people live within 10 miles of a "Return Bar”). If you want to send them back by traditional mail, you'll have $8 deducted from your refund. Just make sure your PJs are unworn and unwashed to be eligible for that refund or for an exchange.
