Old-fashioned site design
While the first impression of FragranceNet is that the site design is a little outdated (and doesn't quite fit a standard screen size), the actual site navigation is pretty simple. The fragrance tab has a lot of subpages on it, but it's easy enough to find the women's perfume and the men's cologne sections. Once we got to the shopping pages, we were a little disappointed. You can only filter by gender and brand. And once again, the brand names are offered in an alphabetical list that you either have to scroll or click on the corresponding letter. Another huge snag? There is no way to organize products by price.
20,000+ perfumes on sale
The perfume selection is impressively large. Covering men, women, children, and unisex scents, the total number of fragrances offered by FragranceNet is 21,996. For just women, there are over 10,000 different fragrances to choose from. Men have 7,802, unisex 3,892, and children 43. So, if you're going to find your fragrance anywhere, FragranceNet is going to be the place.
Some problems with seeing prices
We compared the prices at all our retailers by comparing the same perfumes at each store. To cover the different fragrance shopping needs, we chose Tiffany & Co. Rose Gold Intense Eau de Parfum as a long-time staple, Clean Classic Warm Cotton as a trending low-cost fragrance, and Nuwa by Roja Parfums as a luxury brand. We also looked at the range of prices across the fragrance section of the site. Here's what we found at FragranceNet:

- Clean Classic Warm Cotton: $52.99 for 2 oz
- Nuwa by Roja: Sold out at the time of our review. A similar option, Roja Aoud, was $629.99 for 3.4 oz.
- Full price range: Finding an accurate price range is close to impossible since you can't filter by price and each product doesn't show you any pricing unless you click on the product, making finding out how much you will spend a tedious process if you don't know exactly what you want.
30-day returns minus shipping
To return items, you need to get an RMA number from the customer service department. You can return unopened items, excluding Skincare and Haircare products, in their original condition (so fragrances are allowed, but not if you've tried them first), along with the original packaging and packing slip. You have 30 days to begin the process, and you'll get a full refund, but shipping and gift wrapping charges won't be reimbursed.
Top-notch reputation
Despite some frustrations with the site design, FragranceNet stands out with its reputation. The company has an impressive "A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau. On top of that, FragranceNet holds a 4.1-star average from third-party review sites like Trustpilot.
